Etiquette in game? Since I started playing last year, always noticed how everyone was so polite when they found flow trees or pallium - giving a shout out and waiting for others to arrive. We would take one hit and wait for the others - then when everyone was ready finish and get our loot.

Lately, however, I've seen a few instances where people were waiting, having done the shout, but then another player runs in, takes the flow tree or pallium and runs off, leaving the others without loot. Spoils the friendly vibe .

It's tricky, because while the etiquette is to play that way, you can't force people to follow that etiquette. Yes, most people are willing to wait, but some people just genuinely don't care about anyone but themselves - and there's no way to prevent that from happening.

Sometimes if you spam space it doesnt register on your stamina bar but does push you up, so you essentially get free extra jumps

Yea, it happens to me sometimes, but that's why that number is somewhat unrealistic. The rest i believe. the skipping furniture if you jump correct, totally, if you figure out where to glide from to bypass stuff, totally, i did all that, but stamina makes it hard to do anything quickly.
Unless you've learned how to spam it exactly so you can just get a free jump lol.

Reading the forum, they’ve toggled it to their mouse wheel and that’s how they’re doing it so well.

@formal warren I truly don’t know what it is. I know the platforms do glitch from time to time but many times my character has had feet on the platform and either did a mini jump off it or went straight through it.

@languid flame what happens is that once you get a feel for how the controls function, by the time you get halfway up, it 'gets better' lol
Though i do feel they made it ridiculously challenging at the beginning, and it was ALOT easier later on, so many spots you can bypass if you just glide correctly.

@acoustic frigate the mouse wheel thing makes sense, you can prolly spam it alot more quickly that way, and just, access the glitch.

Pro Tip for magical deer: shoot it with your flare arrow and that will count as a hit and also mark the deer with the flare. The deer won't know it got hit, so it won't go anywhere. After that, when others gather, you can use your dispel arrows to take it down

Wait until the game goes from 5.59 pm to 6pm. That's when all the Day bugs get replaced with the Night bugs, one of them being the Green glow bug you're after. It saves you the time of despawning other bugs to force-spawn what you're target.

Edit: Once you've completely combed the area, you then start catching the other bugs to force-spawn the green glow bug.

Tau needs a map indicator bc sometimes he's so far from Hassian i don't know if he's behind bc he got stopped a bunch of times, or if he's far ahead, bc Hassian got stopped too many times. Lol!

and sometimes the NPC's get out of sync and get stuck in the tavern all night, and tau is no different. lol!

Ok, so when you craft food, on the right hand side you will see all the stations you need for it, at the top area you will find the ingredients needed, with an arrow, your best bet is probably to watch a video on how an advanced food recipe is made so you get a general idea of what is going on.

Oooo thank you... they will hate after. i played over 400 hours (well, recorded over 400 hours) and I have every glitch cause I managed to find it. whether its being stuck in a mountain, oven, and even had a house drop on me. (in H mode) and this last one, trying to get antlers off a proudhorn. in the past two days, 18 horns and 21 proundhorn kills - many were found by me first (first hit) not one dropped antlers

oh and when I use the horns now, the last 6 have spawned in a mountain, etc... which then wastes your horn because I have never seen two alive at the same time

You can request proudhorn antlers if you have had them in your inventory at least once before (same as any other item) -- however, there are some people who're having a glitch happen right now that's preventing them from requesting a lot of items that they have had in their inventory before.

You can't request starred stuff, however; right now people can't send it anyway 🙂

I've never seen any difference between fishing the hotspots and fishing normally for getting the chests; it's really all just luck. I also don't see any better luck using worms, glow worms, or no worms -- it's all basically the same and I get chests with all three.

Different kind of fishes are in different places and active in different times. You might want to try fishing in a pond, lake or river by using different kind of bait (no bait, worm and glow worm)

They also differ from Kilima and Bahari

In lake near einar tryna catch shimmerfin and only getting bites from small mouth bass, level 9 in fishing so expect to find different fish in this lake like i did prior

You can always fast travel, which I'm sure you know. If not, there's a button on the map to return home (has a cool down) and any fast travel location will take you home for 10 gold.

I can never understand why the return home button has a 30 min cool down when you can use the stables option as often as you like. Oh and why will the stables take you home, but not pick you up from your home to go somewhere else! What kind of taxi service is that....

When cooking, everyone that does at least 1 step gets full reward. Cooking party involves ppl doing a dish, where everyone does 1 step. This divides workload and costs, but keeps rewards same.
Cake is the most expensive recipe, and also requires 18 steps total, making it perfect for making a lot of money.

basically there are many roles in the party, each person picks 1 and he just do 1 step every round of cooking, thats all. Each role gives different ingredients in the recipe so depends which u pick

if u new i recommend oven / spreader role which doesnt need any ingredients / item to join OR leafer which u use 1 sweet leaf for each round of cooking

it changed now, theres a new role called fruit frosters (use 1 apple and 1 sugar to make pink frosting), then spreader role just spread the frosting on the cake. Thats why oven ppl become oven / spreader 1 role tgt

Does that mean that, by crafting NEW wood chests (if possible, idk, i know i can have 8 n i do, but can we craft more than 8?) To use to craft the copper chest....
