Do you think they will ever make the fishing better in palia? I mean right now its soooooo slow to level up. Like you can go in hunting to lvl 49 in the same time it takes to get to lvl 12 in fishing and fishing is relaxing at times but seems like you dont get much for your efforts when you do it.

yeah, fishing is usually my favorite part of a game, and the mini game IS fun, but yeah, it's so painfully slow to raise fishing skill, it takes the fun out of it because with every other skill, I can run through an area and mine, forage, and hunt all together, but with fishing I just have to sit there forever

I found the best way to level finishing was to set a goal like catch enough for 10 grilled fish or something and then fish in my home pond while I wait for my crops. As you try hunting for the rare ones and starred ones you just level up. Also check that you’ve been using your renown to boost your focus properly. I learned that a bit late lol (started with the wrong temple)

I haven't had every other deer become invincible, but I have had a few here and there -- and I've noticed that once they start to run, they're no longer invincible (at least for me). So I shoot 'em, they stand around. I run up and spook 'em, they run, I take them down.

Define broken. IMO yes. Seeing everyone's requests in chat with a sound alert each time is annoying AF. Also, with the resetting achievement every login bug, those affected can't request anything, because the game thinks they've never caught / crafted / grown / cooked anything. So in those senses, yes, it's very broken.

I can sorta force bugs and fish to light back up, but only as regular quality, not starred, by dragging all my starred fish into inventory briefly the game is like "oh, you DO have this", but only re-recognizes it as low quality. and still... only until the next time I load the game. 😒

I am enjoying the parts of the game that the game lets me enjoy, but it's a huge bummer that some of the main systems that allow cooperative play are totally borked, like the player request system since the accomplishments for a lot of players keep getting lost and so they can't share mats or items on request - it's a huge bummer for me because I like sharing if I've got extra

If you've already done all the mainline quests, all the friendship quests, all the romance quests... this is the perfect time to do a little grindy-type stuff while waiting for the next content drop to hit. I like to go mine iron - I don't need any more of it, but I catch bugs that pop out and get silk from them, I get stone that I can turn to glass/lightbulbs and iron that I can smelt and sell as bars, etc. Then I'll go do a shopping spree at Zeki's and do some more decorating. 🙂

See, when I hit over 150, I sell off half the iron and start building it up again. It's decent money and easy to acquire, plus I do get silk from bug-catching at the same time. I've got two friendships that are at 3 (Tamala & Tau - I think Tamala will be the last for me to finish), and my romance quests are all over the place.

There will be more friendship/romance quests in the future, I think, so that'll pick back up. But until then, stock up, sell off, shop is my mode of operations, punctuated with the occasional fun flow party or palium party.

so, today I tried the game again to see if the issues got better, but aside from it not running buttery smooth like at the beginning of open beta but stuttery and laggy, I also found the cooking UIs being at random positions on (and halfway off) the screen, Sernuk walking backwards, teleporting, ignoring arrows and being stuck inside walls, as well as the chat display having a flickering fit. And all of that in the 10 minutes I could stand the input lag. Also, was something changed with the camera position? It feels, how should I say, weird? Uncomfortable?

Oh, the Mayor's Estate pond bug was great for me. No worms, catching fish that I was only supposed to catch with glowworms -- AND I had to hit exactly the same sweet spot to successfully fish. I got so good at targeting my casts that night! (The fish were nice too but less interesting than perfectly hitting that sweet spot.)

Open up your crafting bench. Click on furniture tab. Scroll all the way to the bottom, then click on the "all items" tab -- that should still keep you at the bottom of furniture there. Scroll a few items further down and you should see Emberborn Brazier pattern there.

Yeah, at the first time i though that the cake required 3 different player that chop 1 apple but i realized after that the "chopper" use all the 3 apples in one time. The profit is not really good BUT the cooking should be faster so it's possible do more round and change role.

I totally get this mentality. I'm in it to enjoy the game and there is a reward in doing stuff on my own.

Having said that, there are still times when it's not reaping rewards for something you haven't achieved -- particularly when you're trying to get some of the social cooking achievements that -require- you to pair up with other players. If you want to wait to do those until you have all the recipes being made that's definitely an option, but at that point, it's just collaborative play with no advantages conveyed other than the ability to get a collaborative achievement.

And to Callix's point, that's not entirely true. You are both being rewarded with the same flat amount, but that means that compared to what you already have it's different.
The person with 250k coins is earning the same reward, but to them it's much less than to me, who only broke 10k for the first time yesterday. The ratio is very different.

The game has a ramp-up process, by having someone who has already ramped up use their recipes, you can essentially skip the ramping process, so you get much more rewarded than they do

To a point, yes. The more stone that's being chopped, the faster it respawns in a region. And as Pandah said, plain rocks/iron spawn where palium spawns, so if those don't get cleared the palium can't spawn there.

With trees, chopping any trees in a region causes more to spawn, but it takes a few minutes before they start popping back in; a percentage of those will be flow.

I do not know what they have done over the last 24 hours but my latency moving items on my plot has reduced to just a pause once item is placed. Flora and fauna now has more detail. Whatever they have done is aweesome ❤️

Well for trees, it's random. Chop an area down and hopefully a few will be a flow variant when they pop back in.
As for ores... in Bahari, it could be iron, could be stone, or could be palium. But you have to smash them all away to give them a chance to respawn. Don't just smash the palium and leave the stone behind, smash it away too and give it a chance to be palium next spawn. 🙂

FYI, Buzzy Jars work on crabs, too (and snails)
Further, Spineshell Crabs are 'uncommons', and you can get a lot of them, with Buzzy Jar. So, if you need uncommon bugs, for crafting, Spineshells are a pretty good, and easy to catch, way to go

Hey friends, just wanted to ask for some support, Im currently working on catching all the star quality fish. My biggest issue seems to be locating the bubbles in bahari bay rivers within the window of time needed for the Storm Ray and Dawn Ray. The other star quality fish I need aren't restricted to a small window of time. The dawn ray is 3:00am -6:00am in bahari bay rivers, but as you know, the locations of the bubbles are very spread out from one another and with such a limited window of time it's proving to be really difficult. I've used the tuning fork before, but it doesn't register the nodes unless you're realitvly close. The nodes in bahari bay rivers are also quite rare. I most commonly find them in the Flooded fortress, and ive been camping that area or try to be there in that window of time.

Basically, Im crying about the rare account to find buibbles in a river, in that window of time, and hopefully hook a dawn ray, or storm ray (available to be caught between 3:00am-6:00am and 6:00pm-9:00pm. Just wanted your thoughts on the matter.

Do you guys think that adding a honey lure type node for star quality fishing would be OP or do you think with how expensive honey lures are with their short duration, makes a healty balance?

As for finding the bubbles, they are node, just like ores and such. I usually start by the Bahari gate, at the pond under the waterfall, then follow a looping path, all the way around Kilima... then start over. I find them more effectively, on my own, than tuning fork ever has, for me

Drive read and write speeds don't impact potential performance, just loading times and boot times. so it shouldn't matter where its downloaded

That Chum Bucket idea, I can vouch for this.
Cause hanging a dead snake in a tree just dangling above the water can bring pests and Fish like to try and get at them. Making it a hotspot for you to angle in.
