I love that they are adding new additions and areas. the adjustment to crafting and server chats is nice. But my confusion is with their comment of balancing out the game. But what I am not fully behind is the constant changes to so call "balance the game" they are doing. Nerfing pickling prices, and now the massive overhaul of the cooking prices and xp bonuses.. This is would be fine , if they would of also balance out the costs on the purchase side. For example. In order to get a Gazebo, you have to spend 50k for plot, 75k for plot and another 100k for a third plot to get your first Gazebo. The problem is that these additional plots you are required to buy are practically useless as your limits for units and items are still connected to your first plot. Item purchases are over inflated for what you can grind out and sell in game. This is suppose to be a "cozy" mmo and the economy of this game is a personal economy, not one of trading or selling. I am not understanding why they are making it so hard for players, and nerfing so much that is making the game social. the lag bugs for decorating on your plot are still there, and achievement issues in your menu bar are still there. Players having random items stuck in their tent walls and not being able to remove them are still there. To me this is a by far a more important issue to fix than spending so much time on nerfing all the areas players find to make money to have a more comfortable game. I love this game, and have many hours in it as others do too. I want to see this game succeed, but I am seeing less and less people in game. The town feels like a ghost town sometimes when I am playing and this makes me sad. I hope the team realizes what the people playing are looking for and when "adjusting to balance" realize that balance needs to happen on both the income and spending side. And that priority of fixing the player lag and multiple bugs of items should be what is prioritized as first, instead of the constant nerfing of cooking and farming items they feel players make too much money on, yet they have never once adjusted the cost of items, plots, crafting license's. To me I see the game is more "out of balance" than in balance...

Honestly what's the most baffling about their cosmetics is how they're sold in 2-piece sets. Would have been so much better to have slots for feet, legs, torso, hands, head, face, back, etc. Like why limit the fashion to essentially fortnite skins? Yeah, my ideal battle pass is something similar to how they have their acheiment coins set. Work toawards a goal, you get new clothes, or new furniture or something along those lines. A reward for doing these things that keeps you going, get new stuff and then they also keep the game funded to expand content

if you want something right away, you can still buy. if you want to pay less because you personally feel like spending more than ~15$ on a cosmetic is too much, you could grind some coins over time and buy the rest. that would also allow more people to buy cosmetics in the long run, I guess..!

As someone who’s played many harvest moon/SoS, Rune Factory, My Time… S6 went too far nerfing an entire skill in the game with nothing to counter balance it. i get that, but it really isnt so bad. You have to pay for early access to play, but you get moonstones (their premium currency) equivalent to the price you paid to play. And you can earn moonstones quite easily nowadays because they have snapshot-challenges weekly, which allow you to get up to 4k premium currency a week if people like your submission. That's about ~35$ if you'd straight up by the currency

The following week, players vote for screenshots - there's always two pictures next to each other and you choose the one you like more. You also get 50 premium currency for voting once a week, and at least 300 currency for having items in the snapshot that are accurate to the tags. I already thought the profit margins for most cooking items were really tight, the 25% nerf feels really out of place, one of my partner and I's biggest complaints was the already not great profits from cooking, we didn't really feel like cooking was worth the time sink for anything other then focus because of the cost of butter and milk. I can't really see players doing any cooking parties, It's really hard to want to cook when you could just hunt for an hour and make more profit and only using copper

I think it’s more about the fact that would take 333 days of 0-300,000 cap every single day to achieve. (And as far as I’m aware that’s not even close to possible in the current state due to hours required to obtain gold through legitimate means)

Even assuming 12 hour days (which I don’t think anyone could maintain for nearly a year straight) for the player, the hourly gold income would have to be 25,000.

ModMail is literally a bot. That you message. It shows up on the member list on the side, usually at the very top. You dm them, as you would any other person. (Im also pretty sure you need to connect your discord to use it, which I personally don't like to do, but still.)

Also, people do not always know what pins are, how to access them, where they are located, etc... Nobody is being aggressive about accessibility, imo. !modmail is the most accessible option other than looking at pins, because at least it's a command anybody can use, as far as I'm aware.

Yes, there are. Depending on your gameplay preference and your cooking needs, it may not be worth it to go after them. I mean, if you have all the time in the world, you can turn every 25 gold glow worm into a nice juicy fish worth at least 80 (based on a quick scan of the fish table).

But me personally, I don't like the fishing minigame very much. Not enough to follow that strategy in pursuit of profit, anyway.

Then the devs cut their focus in half. So I bought all ingredients and made macarons to eat for focus. Last night, the devs cut their focus value in half, down to 100. I usually hunt for purple crabs, sea slog looking things and hunt deers (I don’t know their actual name T-T)
