I don't be around most of the time, I come back and sometimes see it sitting there, waiting to be scared off- then drop something. And sometime I just see loot there when I log in. As a roleplayer of over 20 years in different games, including WoW and Old Republic... just like in game, you don't have to participate. If you see it and don't want to be part of it, then ignore it. It's chat. There's no "lack of consent" on your part. You either choose to be part of it or choose to ignore it. No one is forcing you into anything.

no, it currently works- it works randomly. The kitsune appears randomly and drops an item randomly for you to loot.

Actually that's my biggest groan... I kinda wish outfits were more limited so I had to make the outfits and variants from scratch, to give a sense of earning and maybe give Jel more purpose. The fact that there's a tailor who won't work for me or teach me to do it myself unless I pay him an otherwordly currency that nobody else even acknowledges is kinda funky. At least let me make a hat and an old-fashioned eyes-covered-only bandit mask.

The whole "I'm the only tailor in town" thing and not helping teach others is very un-Majiri of him, in fact. He kinda violates the spirit of residence in Kilima Valley in that way...

I am in the Netherlands too and it's terrible so that won't be a true story. The responsiveness is horrible and that's not different in an area of 200 km's with glass fiber internet and a top end PC. So the short answer is yes, the server stability is currently terrible.

Me too, in a sense. But for me it's not so much a story that happens in my head, I'm more attracted to the day-to-day, slice of life, slow burn style of gameplay. Where you actually go about playing the game as if you (or your character) were there.
Down to the inn for breakfast, meet a few people, have a sitdown and a chat. Then back home to tend to the garden. Have a friend over for lunch. Sit down and cool your feet in the pond. Take a hike together, shoot some chapaas for fun, then go home and have dinner.

I actually love being part of the Beta. I love knowing that I'm helping out by testing things and giving feedback so the game can be made ready for launch. Having to go through millions of lines of code to find what is going wrong is never an easy thing. I've watched my son do coding and my eyes crossed so I can't even begin to imagine what our devs go through just to find the problems, create a fix, test said fix, then put it into the game for us to test.

It's VERY annoying to do, but...
place your homestead display case on the front steps of your main harvest house, as close to the edge as possible.
Then stand on the grass and manipulate your camera around until it's inside the display case (while holding onto the object you want to slot inside it).
Once the object turns green, release it.
Then pick up your display case and move it where you want. 🙂

Cooking process does need some polishing. Current big issues I've noticed are the highlighted option at prep tables jumps to the top when someone does seemingly anything, so you can end up making something you didn't want to, especially if you already had all of what you need prepared of that thing you accidentally started making so you just wasted an ingredient.

Adding to the Hallway information:

• Workaround is to move the sections of the house that can't be wallpapered to other sections of the house and then wallpaper, then move them back into place. You can get 3 walls of the hallway done, and all 4 walls of the room you want to connect this way.

• There is something in the way of the placement of things in the hallway ceiling, even when the free light is moved to another room. It seems to shift the attach height down from the ceiling about 2 blocks(?) and makes it unattachable.

• Objects placed on the side walls of the hallway flip into unexpected orientations (like upside down or diagonal) when you drag them into the hallway. The one in my screenshot is the Ravenwood Wall Cabinet.
