Yeah but it didn't so people need to understand that there are time zones, so this delay makes it impossible for people that work a full time day job to play for 24 hours, its not just a couple of hours delay its going to end up over 24 hours delayed for those people, so stop calling people salty if they complain that a time was set and not met. For most people this game is a good escape to relax after work and instead they've been sat waiting 6 hours for a patch that they were told would be 2 hours. People need to just respect that those people will be upset by the delay and not call them salty because the delay falls inline with their timezone and being able to play

True, and I think the loudest nay sayers might not understand that long patch installation cycles are kinda the norm in a lot of MMO games. I think the biggest issue is that the team gave such a short window. I think from now on they should give themselves a 10-24hr window so they have some cushion in case things blow up on the backend when they load up a patch to the framework.

To be fair, what y'all are perceiving as entitlement is the cost of doing business in an MMORPG.

Success is measured in the form of engagement and especially so for free to play games. To drive engagement, systems are put in place to timegate progress and make you check back in or come back at certain times to optimize your own efficiency as a player.

You're constantly programming yourself into a routine of efficiency: check on farm, check on seeds, check on worms, talk to each person once an hour, give a gift once a day, go certain places for certain things that are only available at certain times then rinse and repeat.

Devs get high engagement that way, but the trade off is times like this when your addicts highly engaged players can't get their fix routine. So they demand being made whole for the loss of time and efficiency.

It comes with the territory. Devs for these projects understand it. Bless them for their patience.

You can be both grateful that the devs are working so hard and impatient for the game to get back online. Both are absolutely valid.

Just please keep in mind there are other circumstances than your personal ones. Some people only get one chance a week to play a game, and schedule out time for it. It depends on what deer you're shooting with which arrows. The standard arrows take 2 shots to kill a normal deer. Fine arrows one shot a normal deer and 3 shot an elder one

Yes you get it at hunting level 2 or 3 I forget which. It will take two or three shots to kill deer with the beginner arrows. Chapaas only need one though so I recommend hunting them until you get your level up to be able to one shot deer <3 it goes really quick

I think it comes down to it being patch day. You shouldn't schedule streams on patch day, you shouldn't request days off on patch day, you should never expect patches to complete within the given timeframe.

100% people can share their disappointment. But there's a biiiig difference between sending 1-2 messages of disappointment and spamming the chat asking why the game isn't back up, getting angry that it's taking so long, demanding compensation, etc.
