Main goal - improve my English level(From A2 to B2). Moreover, I have a pretty bad spelling and accent, which make me feel uncomfortable.
I have almost 2 month of free time, which I want to spend on English: grammar, spelling, writing and so on

About hobbies: I'm interested in ocean stuff. For example, I have a whole collection of unique ships. I would say... It's my treasure. Another hobby are books. Probably, It's genetic because my mother has incredible interest to all this) Speaking of her book collection: shockingly huge. Almost 2-3 full bookshelves.

A few months ago, I decided to change my lifestyle. I followed my instinct and went to live in the forest, building natural shelters. Since then, I have been improving my knowledge of nature and survival every day.
In my free time, I learn how to recognize wild plants, how to find water sources, how to make fire by friction and how to make crafts.
But I also have more fun hobbies, I do astrophotography, medieval fencing, Wing chun (kung fu), guitar...

How's it going, guys. I'm Andy, and I'm currently working as a freelance English-Korean translator. I'm actually an aficionado in puzzle games such as Tetris, which I'm even working as a community manager and tournament manager in a number of major (with >1,000 members) English-speaking tournament-oriented Tetris communities.
Even though I consider myself as a borderline C2 speaker (given that I got 76/100 on EF's EFSET... I'm considering of studying abroad to prepare for Cambridge C2 Proficiency test if possible), I still cannot get away with the feeling that there's a lot of room for improvement; that's the main reason I made up my mind to join the server to share my experiences with others who're in the same situation as mine.

Hello everyone! I'm Sohail! I am from India. I am pursuing chartered accountancy course (similar to US-CPA). After few months i will be starting my professional journey i.e. internship at a reputed company. So i have to learn to speak English within the given time, that's why I am here.
I am not a native English speaker. Studied English during school and college only and that was for the academics purpose only. So i didn't got any chance to speak in English because here in india i live in western part and most of the people here speaks in regional languages. Fact is even my teachers used to teach us English lesson just by merely translating it into regional language. So i there was no scope to speak in english.

I have the same problem. Before i used to not speak to anyone on a call esp on social media. Now also i don't usually do that. But start slowly like, first try sending voice messages. I usually record my voice, listen it and if I'm okay with it, I send it to someone, after doing that for a while, now slowly I'm kinda okay to take calls. That too only with selected people, so if you wanna talk to someone hoping to improve ur speaking skills, make sure you are comfortable with them first, then practise sending voice messages or voice recordings then gradually you'll be able to take calls.

Hi everyone, could you share your tips on how you improve your English level? My level is B1 and I want to start speaking, reading and watching movies fluently. But I literally lack motivation and when I start, I just quit. Maybe you have some way or we could study together.

I am a bit fluent in speaking English but my intonation sucks 😦
Also I am kinda introvert ,so at starting my fluency will also be hell dead ....but soon it will become normal 😅
