Though the main argument for corporations is that they are a vehicle for people to invest into technological progress and innovation. Since every company’s purpose is to provide income for their shareholders, they need to outcompete their competition and provide a cheaper/better/in demand product than anyone else. (in theory.)
Also typically, in America, ‘non-profit’ orgs want to be classified as 501(c)3 charities since this exempts them from most federal and state income taxes. This means they can divert more of their income (donations) towards their necessarily charitable mission. This is not the only type of non-profit but other types of non profits that are not charities do not benefit from as broad of tax exemptions. (Eg 501(c)7 social clubs).
Then the argument of ‘which is better for the world’ is more of a philosophical question than anything. Especially since most non-profits are funded in part by corporate donations. The tax exemption of 501(c)3 charities means that many companies can write off donations to these non-profits on their own taxes as well. For profit companies have definitely created more technological advancements than non-profit organizations, (like the computer you’re reading this on) but they often work with non-profits (read the government) to provide these advancements. The internet was originally a US department of defense project. (DARPANET) so you tell me.

My view in that it is Israel and pelestine had a deal to cut the land but Israel wanted more so they used force to take more space from pelestine and a lot of civilians got killed
