As stated in the previous announcement, Otaku stepped down from his owner position and appointed me as the new server owner without giving me any chance to decline or discuss with other staff members on how we would proceed moving forward or any time to organize.

For the time being, I've brought help from @celest goblet, @crude flame and @gusty hedge to help reorganize the server and we will do so in a transparent manner. It's not something that will be solved overnight and will take its due time but we hope that you guys can cooperate with us and the entire team.

2-Piece Set: ATK +18%.

4-Piece Set: When Normal Attacks hit opponents, there is a 36% chance that it will trigger Valley Rite, which will increase Normal Attack DMG by 70% of ATK. This effect will be dispelled 0.05s after a Normal Attack deals DMG. If a Normal Attack fails to trigger Valley Rite, the odds of it triggering the next time will increase by 20%. This trigger can occur once every 0.2s.

Vermillion Hereafter

2-Piece Set: ATK +18%.

4-Piece Set: After using an Elemental Burst, this character will gain the Nascent Light effect, increasing their ATK by 8% for 16s. When the character's HP decreases, their ATK will further increase by 10%. This further increase can occur this way a maximum of 4 times. This effect can be triggered once every 0.8s. Nascent Light will be dispelled when the character leaves the field. If an Elemental Burst is used again during the duration of Nascent Light, the original Nascent Light will be dispelled.

A Ruin machine that looks like a giant serpent has recently come alive for reasons unknown. It slithers quietly in the shadows of the mine to pave a way to the known world for unknown dangers buried in the depths of The Chasm. Judging from its appearance and movement, it looks to be a digging machine of some sort.

New Area - The Chasm

The Chasm, which has been sealed, has experienced unknown shifts in recent days. Muning, the Ministry of Civil Affairs representative, is getting worried. To calm the disturbances below, an adventurous Exploration Team is formed to head down into the depths. Go to The Chasm and clear a path for a new adventure.

Hi everyone, Dice was previously banned by the previous admins followed by an investigation by DC and Renium.

Since then, one of the original investigators (DC) stated that the investigation may have been flawed which prompted others to ask for it to be reviewed.

The case was then revisited with new investigators, TK and Teamune, which can be read in the pdf linked below

The revised conclusion and recommendation from this was to unban but apply 3 total strikes and relieve him from his previous Admin duties which the current admin team has agreed to go through with.

Hi everyone, Moist (former admin) was banned by previous admins after multiple documents regarding inappropriate behaviour from him had been shown.

Since he decided to give a statement regarding the situation, it required that all documents surrounding his accusations be reviewed along with his statement.

The case was investigated by TK and Teamune, which can be read in the pdf linked below

The conclusion and recommendation from this was that his ban stay and redacted, the minor mentioned in the second document, be banned for their offenses as outlined in the doc which the admin team has agreed to go through with.

Hi everyone,

The head funeral guards & admins have decided to remove public logs going forward. Public logs were initially implemented to increase transparency with our members. While implemented with good intentions, public logs had multiple draw backs such as:

-The team being unable to tell certain members why they are banned (TOS bans for example can be for various reasons, but not being able to say why due to public logs makes it difficult for the banned member to appeal their ban);
-Members asking for manual bans with "meme" reasons just for attention;
-Certain members challenging any mod decisions they disagreed with in public channels rather than in Modmail or Head Modmail;
-Avoid banned members being targeted, harassed and mocked in public chats/DMs;

Overall, we do not believe that the benefits of transparency outweighed the drawbacks. Public logs was initially created for increased transparency purposes but has instead reduced it due to banned members not being given reasons anymore.

On another note: we've updated the dolphin/whale requirements to also include those with weapons alongside an appropriate increase to the standard constellation requirement being considered. The changes are reflected in h!whaletao . As for future changes, they won't be announced but will be reflected in the command and in #・flex-and-salt .

Hi everyone, the moderation & admin team would like to make users aware of 3 new rules changes related to fake leaks being shared & copypastas:

Private servers

With private Genshin servers becoming more accessible these days, we would like to clarify what is and what isn't permitted.
Videos/images taken from these private servers and discussions that do not lead to "how to implement/use/download this type of content" are allowed.

Fake leaks:

Going forward, anyone found to be sharing fake leaks without explicitly marking them as such will be subject to significant infractions.
They have been damaging as they add unnecessary extra work from various staff teams (Leaks, QnA staff, TC) and cause lots of misinformation to be spread.

Anyone found to be spreading fake leaks voluntarily will be subject to instant 5 strikes (instant ban). Please see the details in the rules document.

Copypastas:

Copy pastas are now allowed when they are used to initiate new conversations or contribute to active conversations.
Uses outside of the above mentioned such invasive use (spam), reposting verbal warnings or someone else's message with the purpose of bullying them will lead to server warns.

If you have any questions about the added rules feel free to ask a member of the moderation team or open a mod mail.

The Admin and HFG team has received reports of one of our staff members regarding DM harassment. Upon further investigation these images are fake/edited. In the second screenshot, the message is slightly edited and the words start 1-2 pixels to the right compared to the above one. e.g. the "S" in Send is 1 pixel to the left compared to the "W", "A" , etc on the one below. You can use the "A" in the username as a point of reference. In addition, the wording on the 2nd message is also more blurry, and the text isn't completely white as discord text is.

We hope this clears up any worries and have taken appropriate measures against those falsely spreading this information.

HP is increased by 16%. When there are opponents nearby, the DMG dealt by the wielder of this weapon is increased by 20%. This will take effect whether the character is on-field or not.

The Qilin are benevolent by nature, and will never harm another soul, save by necessity.

Events

1. Perilous Trail

Kuki Shinobu, Itto and other characters will join forces for a new event that will bring you a lot of rewards.
You will have to chain enemies in 3 different areas in order to complete the missions. Each domain will have trial characters that you can use, but also buffs to choose before going to fight, in order to facilitate things.
An exclusive 4-star bow will be available, the "Fading Twilight".

2. A Muddy Bizarre Adventure

In this event, you will have to explore areas and kill enemies by completing objectives. You will find the mechanics of dark matter present in the Gulf. Note that the latter will drain your life points, in addition to limiting your movements.

3. The Almighty Arataki Great and Glorious Drumalong Festival

A new event that will be played in the form of a rhythm game! Warm up your fingers and try to make a good score to unlock all the rewards. Note that you can do a “lag test” in order to adjust the game as best as possible according to your way of playing. You will get a drum that can be used even after the event, which will allow you to create your own music and share it via a code.

4. Core of the Apparatus

A Toy Merchant from Fontaine created a device that can create toys and furnishings as long as the right materials are inserted into it. Help him gather the materials with which to make some test products.

Introducing the Lore Corner!

The Lore Corner is a new server category specifically for all things lore on the WFP server. The Genshin lore channel you know and love has been moved to this new category, and we've also introduced several other new channels for the lore section!

1. Applicants will be periodically chosen from the pool of applications in the form, and appropriately notified upon getting accepted to the team.
2. We have a lot of applicants, so If your application was denied, you won't hear back from us at all. If you don't hear back from us by the time we announce a new trial moderator batch, or if 2 months have passed since we last announced one, it's most likely your application was denied, so keep an eye on #・mod-updates !

Hello everyone,

After reviewing our current punishment policy based on some feedbacks, specifically regarding the 10 warnings policy where members are banned with absolutely no chance of appealing after having a total of 10 warnings, we have decided to make these some adjustments. Below are some things to note after the adjustments:

1. Members who got banned for having a total of 10 warnings are now able to appeal their ban by filling out this form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSe58GF5u1kj2cmuPeLUi_dQIOLgc9iWVA2NbXpaiFvhSSvPaA/viewform only if it is their first ban (as in, they never got banned before, including bans triggered for having 5 active warnings). This is however, not an unban guarantee as we will review each ban appeals accordingly and decide whether or not those members are worthy to be unbanned. If the appeal gets accepted, the member will be able to join back under the one life policy for 3 months.

2. One life policy - Members granted the One life policy after getting unbanned are expected to be more careful and abide by the rules. Getting another warning during this period will result in a removal from the server without any chance of appealing, as it would be their second ban.

3. Members who already got banned for having 5 active warnings, got unbanned after appealing, got through the one life policy, and then got banned again for having a total of 10 warnings will not be able to appeal their ban, as it would be their second ban.

4. 15 warns policy - Members who got banned for having 10 total warnings, got unbanned after appealing, got through the one life policy, and then got banned again for having a total of 15 warnings will not be able to appeal their ban, as it would be their second ban.
