I said I wasn't gonna do it but I followed the tutorial going around YT and it was pretty easy to get this up and running with a group of miner and chunk loading turtles.

I had to add the ores for scguns and rustic engineer but now i have a steady stream of those and diamonds. Might see if I can get a group to work on ancient debris.

It semi works. If you want it to work completely you'd have to downgrade scguns. There's an incompatibility between the 2 and he won't fix his mod(he tried with an update recently but if anything it made it worse. And he said he can't do anything more if it doesn't work)

If I remember right there are some stupid rules put in place by minecraft that limit the amount of levels you can spend at an anvil and if it goes beyond that it just refuses. It's a base minecraft mechanic to ,i guess, stop you from becoming too overpowered

I have the feeling that this modpack needs some touch-up, and eventually (at least I hope) it will get fixed.
The change in reducing the mods is good, since if you have Create you dont need Immersive Engineering (as example).

The guns are also... Useless. Bows can get more stronger more easily. Armored Pixel (or however this mod is called) also doesnt work.

I love this modpack, but if there are not stronger enemies out there than normal, guns are not needed.
In the earlier version, enemies had also guns and where a little bit stronger. (also the guns looked and felt way better).
Cant wait for new updates to this modpack. :3

Well Im not through with the modpack (still have to finish Aether and Blueskies as example) and we are just chilling with the Modpack. :p

Love Steampunk tho (even before the new version for 1.20.

There are some things that I think just isnt needed or bugged in this modpack.

First example are the guns, while they are cool to craft - The gun mod feels very weak. I have a bow that feels way stronger than the guns. I actually completely didged the guns, because I think using the bow is stronger.
Since there is this level mod for the mobs, the mob difficulty increases in each dimension (at least thats what I saw) - This is a really cool change and I dont know the levels of the mobs in Blue Skies, maybe I then need the weapons or just upgrade my bow, I dont know. But on technicality - The Gun mod on the earlier versions felt better because of Animations and they felt stronger. 🙂

Secondly Protection Pixel just... DOesnt work. The plate system has no benefit - This either needs to be adressed or the mod needs to be removed. I crafted everything and was trying to figure stuff out and lost ~1-2 Hours of gametime (since I thought I was doing something wrong).
Not a big deal but since it doesnt work at all - Just removing it would be good.

That's at least what I have found right now. Description of some quests would be cool (especially for newer players) but overall I'm very impressed firstly on the Performance this modpack has and secondly of how cool this modpack is. Really really Thankful for it. :3

It shoul be "/locate "Modname:Structurename"" But since I dont know what mods add them I cant really tell you how to search them directly. If you jsut Type /locate you'll could search all Structures in the list

Theres an option for it in the config and people playing other packs have gotten it to work. And yea, im claiming and forceloading correctly. If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.

5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.

8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.
