I'm using version 1.19.2 of Minecraft. I did not change the modpack in any way. I'm running v23.5 of the Steampunk modpack with Curseforge; it has not been changed in any way by me.

The crash is guaranteed for me, and these are the steps that can be used to reproduce it:

1. Right click on a netherite ingot in the JEI
2. View the fifth possible crafting recipe or (possibly) any crafting recipe from the same mod as the fifth crafting recipe.

3. I've added a handful of mods, removed the seasons mod, updated copycats +, Reset all soph. backpack configs to their non-modpack defaults, and a few other changes that i cant name off the top of my head
4. Latest version of the pack (v24)
5. Game does not crash, Attempting to load my main world will prompt me with "Errors in currently selected datapacks prevent the world from loading"
6. No crash to provide

I solved the problem, I had configured a large number in simulation-distance on the server since my computer supports it (the server was running with the CPU at 20%), but apparently due to the limitation of the server software itself it cannot work with a large simulation-distance and I had to reduce the value

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.

To install ATLauncher, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATLauncher does not see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.
7. Let the mods download, ATLauncher will grab them from your Downloads folder and automatically add them to the modpack.
8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATLauncher, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Because ATLauncher downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. I say this with a LOT of bias, but explore. A lot. Until you have an easy way of getting home/to base without dying (potion of recall) I'd recommend not making one. Keep a bed on you, along with a bucket of lava for the cold climates (and nights).

Start working a little with tetra, experiment around with it, have a hammer and hook on hand when you can make one.

So once I aquire the straddleboard, how can I avoid getting hot in the Nether? I have an Obsidian Skull for Fire immunity, blazing core for fire immunity as well, soul lamp for traversing the nether, and netherite armor with hogskin for hot temperatures. If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.

To install ATLauncher, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATLauncher does not see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.
7. Let the mods download, ATLauncher will grab them from your Downloads folder and automatically add them to the modpack.
8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATLauncher, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATLauncher and paste the Saves folder there. Do the same with the XaerosMinimap folder, or the Journeymap folder, to transfer over any waypoints you've created.
Because ATLauncher downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATLauncher also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATLauncher installed.
