if you're at diamond level and comfortable I would recommend just jumping straight to a nuclear reactor + steam engine

how does one make a nuclear reactor

not as intimidating as it sounds, search up "fuel cell" in JEI and ponder it
use the magnifying glass to inspect each block and then look up how to craft that multiblock
the ponder example only shows you a 1-rod reactor, but I made it 2 rods wide with 2 andesite funnels to feed it 2 fuel cells at a time
that way I can expand it upwards to a 4-rod one if I really really feel like it
then some heat vents to a heat pipe and some boilers, 3x3x9 fluid tank on top of the boilers, steam engines hooked up to an alternator, and thats where create ends for me
then in immersive engineering I used HV wire connectors to hook the create alternator up to an HV accumulator
I let the steam engine charge the accumulator for me, upwards of 4 million FE(forge energy)
then I can break the accumulator and put it down wherever and whenever I need power
the create accumulator is a whole ass MULTIBLOCK and only stores 2 million forge energy and cannot be moved by breaking it afaik
I will NOT be assed with actually transferring power using create...

IE is great because instead of needing a whole system for moving create power around, I set up literal electricity poles like the ones you see out on the street

There are certain villages with buildings made of ice that dont have churches but apothecaries, and theres a more than one- I think Ive had 4 in one before.
Deserts tend to have a good number of structures that have desert temple loot tables in them somewhere, usually under the same pattern youd find. As long as you dont blow it up. Still rare though.
Dont bother with jungle temples, they are painfully hard to find as is

tetra and cold sweat are good questlines to follow. Tetra items and honing is very good.
I'd also recommend getting book of skills to put your xp to use on skill trees
you can make steel by putting iron ingots into a blast furnace and use it as armor/tools, as it's cheaper than diamonds
oh and make a gun, a steyr smg is a good early game gun as it is very cheap to make and cheap to make ammo for

To my surprise, yes, ColdSweat v2.3-b04f fixed the crash. For the record, the item is enigmaticlegacy:cursed_scroll, which has an ever-changing display name because I don't have the Seven Curses. I was only even looking at it because I found a Darkest Scroll and wanted to see what I could do with it.
EDIT: it sounds like updating the mod by 1 version (to 2.3-b03e) should be enough to fix the crash ("Fixed another crash related to item tooltips")

The Essential mod is completely incompatible with all of our modpacks, and there's no reason to use it. All of our modpacks already come with built-in, free world hosting, by clicking the "Share World' button in the Open to LAN menu. You can learn more by typing !ws in the #bots channel. You can also run type !server in the same channel to learn how to properly host a server for better performance and more flexibility. In modpacks that aren't owned by us, you can use mods such as e4mc or WorldHost to host a server completely for free without Essential's many issues and crashes and the microtransactions that they constantly bother users with. I kinda need help from someone who has much more knowladge about minecraft and how it works. So the biggest problem is that when ever anyone (when when only i am on the server and do it on my own) genrates chunks the whole server basacly grinds to a halt, or some chunks take for ever to load in...
I guess the problem comes from world generation since i see the console spew out a few errors. but i dont know what to do. so can someone maybe atleast point me in the correct direrction to fix this and make it more enjoyable?

4.I just updatet the server to v24 - Its not crashing but i am having massive issues with chunkgeneration
- Walking , flying and all that exploration stuff, sometimes it just refuses to load entire chunks but genrates the chunks around the ones it does not want to load
i updatet the server, optemized the serversettings by changing the simulation distance, the renderdistance and the network compression. the server is running quite nicly, maybe sometimes 50 ticks behind. but as said when i genrate chunks it throught me errors and sometimes takes minutes to load some chunks#

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.
To install ATLauncher, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATLauncher does not see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.
7. Let the mods download, ATLauncher will grab them from your Downloads folder and automatically add them to the modpack.
8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATLauncher, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATLauncher and paste the Saves folder there. Do the same with the XaerosMinimap folder, or the Journeymap folder, to transfer over any waypoints you've created.
Because ATLauncher downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATLauncher also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATLauncher installed.

so, i am attempting to run the world sharing method to play with two friends, and one has a little lag, sometimes disconnecting. The other has almost constant lag and disconnects frequently. We ARE technically playing from the same internet connection but I'm doubting that's the problem given the massive difference in our experiences. Please follow the guide here for changing the Java version your server uses. This will improve performance dramatically. If you are on a third party server host, you likely can not change the Java version your server uses. Bisect Hosting and a few VPS providers do allow changing Java version, though, which can usually be done through your server dashboard.

The diesel generator is providing power, so I am using the transformer to go from HV to MV for the machines and ot doesn't seem to work.

@cerulean garden so Luck isn't necessary, when you have luck it will have a bad effect on the type of loot you aquire from a chest if you are searching for Enigmatic Legacy items.
And you are not the only one, I've searched in 7 End Cities and haven't found most of the items I thought I would get. Just keep searching and hopefully you come across it.

just hook a hv cable into an hv transformer, than the mv cable into a transformer and you get lv
there are diffrent connction sposts tho... keep that in mind
in theory you can just hook every machine up with HV thoo... its just quite expensive... but has the upside that your machines will always run full power
also hv cables cant be insulatet and are quite dangerous because of this

@molten robin so I crafted the HV to MV transformer for my fermenter, Squeezer, Refinery and Garden Clochs. Basically everything is hooked up to MV besides my Diesel Generator.

i can apply any enchantment from the getgo
if you switchout parts of your tool/weapon enchantmets will be lost. keep that in mind
but you can save and duplicate them aswell

So Ancient Tomes are from Quark
They are enchanted books with an additional additional level than the vanilla enchanted books

but if the are somewhat like normal enchantment books u actually might need the proper enchantment on your tool before using it... i guess... and incase of tetra tools you probably need to apply them to the toolpart that the weeker enchantment is already on
