An update to windows introduced a new security feature that prevents powershell files from running on your PC. This is great for your security, but not so great for our server start scripts, which require powershell to run them. Fortunately there is a quick fix for this!

Run powershell as administrator, then run Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned. Read the prompt and press accept. This will allow us to run scripts.

Next, navigate to your server directory using cd path/to/directory (for example: cd C:\Users\Username\Documents\Minecraft\Server)

You can now run the server by double-clicking the start.ps1 file, or typing .\start.ps1 into the command line while in the directory.

IF THE ABOVE DOES NOT WORK, TRY THIS
Run the command Unblock-File -Path .\start.ps1 in the same powershell window. This will allow the start script to not be blocked by windows, and run freely.

For some reason my deployers are incapable of planting saplings, setup in picture

The saws can still cut though and doing it not in contraption works

Only when I make it into a windmill do they stop working

Filters are also all set up and they are holding saplings ( I have 64 in one of the chests already and they grab from it in contraption mode)

It depends on if you're playing with someone local or not. If it's over the internet you'll want to look into something like "Himachi" or the likes, but basically it's a networking thing that you have to let them connect. Unless it's over LAN, then it should be discoverable

Hi! I have been having issues recently on my server with Chunks and entities. We have a player count of around 16 players (that means 16 players on the server). We have noticed that once a player joins around 2000 extra chunks are loaded and roughly 200 entities. Server simulation distance is 4 and view distance is 7. All chunks players are in have been pregenerated by Chunky - that includes different dimensions. Any idea if there is some mod or config that is causing this? Thanks!

Oh you also need a good supply of lava. You do need ot make sturdy sheets plus if your making the cog loader from complete scratch. You need to make a riviter first

yeah you'd be using blaze cakes to make lava or you can make a farm setup to make biofuel

make straws for blaze burner and feed it that

still need to go to the nether to make Cinder flour out of netherrack

and biomass, which is made from seed oil (pressed from any seed) and various plant matter

consider taking advantage of the schematic cannon as well

and getting schematics
