An update to windows introduced a new security feature that prevents powershell files from running on your PC. This is great for your security, but not so great for our server start scripts, which require powershell to run them. Fortunately there is a quick fix for this!

Run powershell as administrator, then run Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned. Read the prompt and press accept. This will allow us to run scripts.

Could i get a hand with removing a particle effect that is a little bit on the troublesome side? Its to do with the dodge mechanic from the moonelf. When you dodge damage you get those particle effects and if youre in a small cave or something they actually pile up if youre getting dodges in rapid succession. I tried finding it in the particles tab in the settings but there are so many i couldnt find any that looked like the one i needed

Hello all! Im hosting my own private Medieval MC 1.20.1 fabric server. My friends and I arent really interested in the scorchful and frostiful modpacks. Ive disabled passive heating/freezing, as well as deleting the mods themselves. When I delete the mods, the server script will not run. Disabling passive heating/freezing does nothing either. Any help? Im sure this has been brought up before, I just cant find anything in pinned.

Please follow the guide here for changing the Java version your server uses. This will improve performance dramatically. If you are on a third party server host, you likely can not change the Java version your server uses. Bisect Hosting and a few VPS providers do allow changing Java version, though, which can usually be done through your server dashboard.

5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.
7. Let the mods download, ATLauncher will grab them from your Downloads folder and automatically add them to the modpack.
8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATLauncher, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATLauncher and paste the Saves folder there. Do the same with the XaerosMinimap folder, or the Journeymap folder, to transfer over any waypoints you've created.
Because ATLauncher downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATLauncher also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATLauncher installed.

What is the difference between Medieval mc Forge and fabric?

fabric has better nether while forge is mostly vanilla nether with added structures and enemies. enemies tend to be more powerful in fabric from my experience. I was told that is because the player is more powerful compared to forge, but I have yet to find anything that actually allows that (I've been told getting the right enchantments and weapons are both really important). The skill tree in forge is significantly better and more powerful and it is where a large amount of your stat boosts will come from. the fabric one has some borked abilities, and afaik you can't see the skill tree for your class until you choose it. fabric has environmental effects like getting to hot or cold enabled by default while forge does not. Also, I'm not sure if it's just me but the fabric version seems to give me significantly less attack reach which is really frustrating. There are a lot more ores in the fabric version and I believe you can combine them to create powerful new ores for stronger weapons.

I'm only in the early game for fabric so there is a lot I haven't seen yet ("things" mod looks really interesting) and I'm much more experienced with the forge version.

forge because it feels more straightforward and for some reason the forge port of origins tends to work better for me than the original fabric version, don't know why and it's the main reason I usually stick to forge.

I've also not tried 1.21 fabric because I'd have to remake all of the origins I've worked on due to Minecraft forcing origins to change their API, I believe that's the right version anyway

ok the gorgen is so buggy I got it's head and when I tried to use it, my game crashed

Luna Pixel's World Sharing

Our modpacks don't support any mods that add singleplayer hosting / world sharing because we already provide free world sharing. The "Essential" mod is therefore incompatible.

To share your world using our own world hosting, click the "Open to Lan" or "Share World" button in the game menu when in a singleplayer world, and share the world.

It will give you an address, like magma-cube.mc.lunapixel.gg, which your friends can use to connect directly to your world as if it were a server!

We still highly suggest not to play through LAN as LAN is untested and unreliable. Using it will cause longterm damage to your world.

There is no reason to use LAN, as we support both paid and free methods of hosting a server the normal way.

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.

To install ATLauncher, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATLauncher does not see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.
7. Let the mods download, ATLauncher will grab them from your Downloads folder and automatically add them to the modpack.
8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATLauncher, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATLauncher and paste the Saves folder there. Do the same with the XaerosMinimap folder, or the Journeymap folder, to transfer over any waypoints you've created.
Because ATLauncher downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATLauncher also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATLauncher installed.

Oh it's Dungeon Difficulty armor (1.19.2). Basically gear will have better stats in more dangerous places, but at the cost of not being able to apply Relics to the gear.

ive already looked it up and attempted to change the version of FTB Chunks per instructions i found else where but that didnt fix it

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATLauncher, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATLauncher and paste the Saves folder there. Do the same with the XaerosMinimap folder, or the Journeymap folder, to transfer over any waypoints you've created.
Because ATLauncher downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATLauncher also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATLauncher installed.

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.

To install ATLauncher, do the following:

• 1 Honey Bottle -> 1 Bo'E at 10+ Eterna, 25%+ Quanta and 25%+ Arcana
• 1 Honey Bottle -> 8 Bo'E at 30+ Eterna, 25%+ Quanta and 25%+ Arcana
• 1 Honey Bottle -> 32 Bo'E at 50+ Eterna, 25%+ Quanta and 25%+ Arcana
• Potion Charms, when Infused, become unbreakable if a range of values are met
• Requires 50 Eterna (Max), 8.5% to 13.5% Quanta, and 32.5% to 37.5% Arcana

Some infusions state they need "at least" this value, and some state they need a specific range, where going over or under that value fails the infusion.

In modpacks where Soulbound is available, it appears instead of Infusion if you don't meet required values, be warned before you click!

To infuse Potion Charms, you need 50 Eterna, between 8.5% to 13.5% Quanta, and between 32.5% to 37.5% Arcana.
Enchantmenting Tables start off with 0s in all their values except Quanta, which starts at 15%.
Here's the setup;

• Achieves 50 Eterna.
• 1x Deepshelf of Arcane Treasures
• Lowers the Quanta down to 5%, and Raises Arcana to 10%.
• 1x Skeleton Skull
• Achieves Quanta Range at 10%
• 20x Candle OR 1x Echoing Deepshelf + 5x Candle
• Achieves Arcana Range at 35%
• (Optional) Shelf of Seabound Rectification (Or higher)
• Lessens the negative effects of the 10% Quanta.

Short Apoth/Zenith Guide

• To reach the deepshelf stage, make use of Seashelves/Hellshelves to reach the 30 Eterna Requirement to activate Dormant Deepshelves.
• Look into using Zenith/Apotheosis Tomes such as the 'Tome of Weaponry' in conjunction with the Enchantment Library in order to more easily maximize the enchants on your gear.
• It's not a bad idea to keep two seperate setups in order to obtain more common enchants.
• Alternatively, if you have the resources to do so, it's also a good idea to make 3 to 9 Seashelf of Aquatic Filtration, to sift through the many weapon/armor enchants the modpack has to offer.

Lastly, a useful tome for interacting with enchanted items- Each tier is obtained via Enchantment Infusion (See EMI)

singleplayer server randomly stops ticking, I can move my character without issue but I am unable to pick up items, damage anything, etc. and mobs do not move either. Will persist until I use task manager to kill minecraft, cannot save and quit (infinite loading screen) nor alt+f4. This issue occurs across multiple worlds.

Hello there, I'm having issues with starting the MMC 1.19.2 v24 Server running on Linux.
Upon executing the start.sh file I come across the following messages seen on the provided screenshot.
I unfortunately don't understand BASH and thus have no clue what exactly I am supposed to be looking for after checking out the start & variables files.

The Essential mod is completely incompatible with all of our modpacks, and there's no reason to use it. All of our modpacks already come with built-in, free world hosting, by clicking the "Share World' button in the Open to LAN menu. You can learn more by typing !ws in the ⁠#bots channel. You can also run type !server in the same channel to learn how to properly host a server for better performance and more flexibility. In modpacks that aren't owned by us, you can use mods such as e4mc or WorldHost to host a server completely for free without Essential's many issues and crashes and the microtransactions that they constantly bother users with. So I couldn't figure put what the issue was but I reset my player data and it did something my guess is it hase something to do with the hurt time in the player data cause I compared the 2 and that was the only difference I noticed
