I moved the server directory on my main PC (Windows 10) to my secondary PC (windows 7) and when I run the PowerShell script it pops up then disappears. Any way to fix that?

An update to windows introduced a new security feature that prevents powershell files from running on your PC. This is great for your security, but not so great for our server start scripts, which require powershell to run them. Fortunately there is a quick fix for this!

Run powershell as administrator, then run Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned. Read the prompt and press accept. This will allow us to run scripts.

Next, navigate to your server directory using cd path/to/directory (for example: cd C:\Users\Username\Documents\Minecraft\Server)

You can now run the server by double-clicking the start.ps1 file, or typing .\start.ps1 into the command line while in the directory.

IF THE ABOVE DOES NOT WORK, TRY THIS
Run the command Unblock-File -Path .\start.ps1 in the same powershell window. This will allow the start script to not be blocked by windows, and run freely.

you need to either wear, or affix the chest/helmet relics, because you're puttin them in cosmetic armour slots. they serve no function but to 'skin' your other armour.

You could run into a problem with that. Curseforge is not great so we recommend these launchers

The origin won't matter. Having higher freeze resist won't really matter too much if your skin has touched the cold. Basically, once you get to a certain point, it is hard to heat up. Pins explains how to deal with temperature effectively as well as quests can help you out.

I can not get Chunky to run with install. I downloaded from CurseForge (Tried Chunky 1.2.203, 1.2.217, 1.3.38 and even 1.3.53), but the server will not load/accept Chunky commands. The only error I get is when I start up a new world and receive "java.nio.file.NoSuchFileException: /fabric.mod.json".

Server is running an Ubuntu based OS, and using Java 17. The server starts up fine, it just doesn't load Chunky

I put the mod in the $serverDir/mods and tried to put them in $serverDir/.fabric/processedmods/ but neither seemed to work

Hello! To better diagnose your issue, please answer ALL of the following questions:

1. Have you modified the modpack in any way? (Adding/removing mods, changing configs, anything in the Resourcepacks menu)
2. What launcher are you using? (CurseForge, GDLauncher, etc)
3. What Minecraft version are you playing? (1.18.2, 1.16.5, 1.19.2)
4. What version of the modpack are you playing? (v11, v9, etc)
5. When does the crash happen?
6. Have you ever gotten past the point where the crash happens?
7. Does a crash report generate? If so, send the file here. If not, is there an exit code? (On CurseForge, right click the instance, Open Folder, and go to the crash reports folder. Alternatively, post the log's text on mclo.gs and send the link here.)
8. Did you follow the Performance guide in #general pins?
9. To reiterate #1. did you install install the Modpack through a launcher or did you download the Server Pack or use the Server Files as the Modpack?
10. To reiterate #2. did you use a cracked launcher like TLauncher?

Please attach your latest.log file to your message as well. This can be found in the logs folder.

I have spent the last few hours starting over, and following the pinned posts quite a few times. I'm not sure why it isn't loading as normally any mods should load as long as they're in the mods/ directory.

well, if you have 12gb or more then allocate 8gb

that's one of the first things it says

Then you should be good to allocate 9gb to server and 8gb for yourself when running minecraft

u may have to delete it on ur client side too

there is also in-game config for it

hey can someone help me out. I am trying to disable the rushing water cloud kind of effect. Its lagging my game real bad and the effects are just at the bottom of the ocean where I cant even see them. Heres a screenshot of me spam loading my chunks to see the effects at the bottom of the ocean.

my method is to go into a deep cave with nightvision (bat backpack, monocole, potion) and then look at ceiling and sides

but its hard to see cuz its black
