so guys... i just got the "white" error while going through the nether portal, i couldnt join back so i asked the admin to kill me. i died in the portal and the grave replaced one of the obsidian blocks i right clicked the grave and only got the thigs i didnt have in my inventory back. Unintentional coding and more of a happy accident as these mods, even though they can interact with each other, aren't made with that in mind. So, sometimes stuff can happen. Good or bad.

Yes, but you need to get arcanus wand and have to find stuff. Archer is a struggle in beginning. Need fletcher villager and a farmer (carrot) for trading for emeralds and arrows ideally. Then you can look into making any of the mc dungeons bows. Arcanus Wand and finding Magic Missile spell is a priority so it takes exploring, which is difficult as your melee damage is bad. Ranged weapons like the cackling broom (gotten from witches) help a lot to keep you safer.

Finding relics with ranged crit damage. Leveling dex and then luck.

I forget what duplicator does. Rust is a pretty bad one, attacks durability of your armor and gear. Toxic should just be poison. Ranged is ideal for damaging it but can damage it as it is landing before the knockback starts.

For you and everyone else. Archer explanation of endgame with bow and magical weapons (not all magical weapons and spells though, just most effective ones). Will preface this by saying Gattling Gun is the best ranged weapon with Fast Hands V (reducing cooldown so no charge time) and Void Shot III (or higher). Most like bows or crossbows though. I personally like the bow, as such, I do not have max enchant list for guns or crossbows at the moment.

Yeah, you basically have a choice. You can either do dragon backpack or get the mount. Can't do both. You can fight the eye and the void shadow as well as get the dragon backpack after the fight instead of using fame to get the mount. People on servers I think can get an egg from quest. But idk. I don't recall what was done, if anything, about that.

Well, right now you need to worry about armor and such. Try just getting diamond going. A diamond axe, and a shield. Try to avoid fights. Find a village and set up a fletcher and farmer so you can farm arrows. Create 2 waystones, one at village and one at home so you can teleport back and forth. Can try and get mending on villager if you want. Or you can explore easier structures like oceanic ruins and ruined nether portals to get mending enchanted gear. Get mending enchant off via grindstone and regular book.

Magic missile is only good once you have ranged crit damage relic. Until then, it's not great at all.

It's a priority though because both can be obtained and have to be obtained by adventuring and exploring.

Survival, as always in minecraft, comes first. So like setting up clean water is important as well as getting decent protective gear like diamond. Plenty of diamonds can be found while looting so I usually start with iron because I know what to find to get diamonds by looting. Nothing wrong with playing it like vanilla though to get diamonds during your first playthrough.

You can also make heavy plate armor (which is also mentioned in class tier list, beginner tips I think, at the end).

I assume the Desert biome works and I know the Biomepedia says Mojave Desert will spawn it (but not Atacuma Desert) but there are a lot of desert-y biomes and my nearest Desert is a small patch of land and my nearest Mojave spawns absolutely nothing ever

Yeah, you'll have to know what it is tagged as. Badlands are similar to deserts but considered their own biome. So knowledge of biomes can be needed if getting unlucky.

I just did a quick test by myself on my server and it seems to work by only replacing mods and config, but since it mentioned fabric loader is updated to 0.14.10 I don't know if I'll run into issues later if it's not updated.

what did you adjust with yours? Found the temp parameters brutal by default. Set up base in a plains biome and then winter hit and my wife who chose pixie couldn't even leave biome quick enough before freezing to death. Ended up just enabling pixie chest piece until we figure out the extreme temperature enough to find a balance where temperature matters but doesn't destroy the enjoyment of the game

I havent been to a cold biome yet to test that side of things. Ive been in the outback and my thirst is really what i had to manage so i just had to decrease the overheat thirst drain. But i would suggest just slowly increasing the value for the temp it takes to start undercooling and freezing.

Heat stones, cold res potion, armour with mammoth/polar bear fur added, the mc dungeons frost armour, sprinting. It all helps. You can also outheal the dmg with good food, heal spell, regen effects, etc.

that's the scaling difficulty mod being weird with bosses

wardens have an hp of 500, so they spawn with 500 hp. the further you are from spawn, the more hp they'll supposedly have, but they still only have 500 hp

ah so it ups their hp pools but since they have set hp to spawn at it doesn't actually increase their actual hp

makes sense sadly also makes bosses a bit of a pushover since they will have hp equal to something like 4-5 zombies
