Because you can always access the backpack with "B" and less clutter and is made to wear that way so will work better than any other way, even if compatibility patches are a thing. "B" is also default conflict with another keybind. However, the first thing to always do after every update is rebind your keybinds to how you like them.

The game doesn't *crash* when connecting it just gives the error.

You need to update. It sounds like BackSlot which only existed in v6 for literally <24 hours before it was removed in the v6HF hotfix.

Are you sure it wasn't Not Enough Animations? I just ran a test on the latest version and it was definitely that mod that shows the sword sheathed on the side, when unequipped. You can turn off the individual setting in ModManager

Yes. It shouldn't effect farms that much, if at all. But if you think you're having an issue, craft a Soothing Lantern. Recipe is on the CF modpage and in REI.

A light block crafted using a sea lantern, gold ingots, and emeralds that prevents **buffed/eldritch **mobs from spawning in a chunk.

on simpler farms like just basic skele farms, getting a buffed mob to spawn is pretty great cause of that extra xp drop. haven't had the farm break or any escape

Whatever works out best for you. If you found an emerald geode, I'd just wait on those since it's renewable and you don't have to do anything except harvest on the last stage with a pickaxe. Dunno if it's too slow for you or not. You can optimize the geode by mining in it so the budding blocks have available space on more sides. When it ticks to grow a bud, you have a greater surface area for it work with and hopefully it'll spawn faster.

nope. there's like half a dozen mods that add in non hostile mobs. some of them are tamable and some are not, even within the same mod. if you run across a mob you may want to tame, you can hover over it and see what mod it's from. from there you can look up the modpage and see if it's tamable in the documentation and/or code.

As of right now, until the perk update for Professions is pushed:

Professions does nothing in single player mode.

It allows server admins to add in an economy but you'll need other mods to utilize the money it generates. You gain no extra experience. There's no abilities or buffs.

Experience gained within Professions is not added to your player experience. It's a self contained system. It'll allow for leveling up of Professions for perks and such when the mod gets more content in/ if the server is using with other mods that can utilize it such as EightsEconomyP

On the go, I just kept a tank of regular water, a campfire, and campfire cauldron in my backpack, so I can just set it down. You're not really squished for inventory space since you can carry all the traveler's backpacks on you and just access them on your hotbar.

You can also disable Eldritch Mobs from spawning at a spawner with a Soothing Lantern for the chunk.

Eldritch mobs have 3 variants: Elite, Ultra and Eldritch that give 4x, 6x, and 8xp drop respectively.

Maybe I could technically drink water, decided to try it with dirty water, gained "thirst" of course from that, and then needed water from then on out. Made an edit to Fae in the tier list. An important gap is closing, gap is still there though so Fae still at the top for me, but if thorny mobs and reflect mobs be giving you a hard time, there's a way for majority of classes to now combat that I believe.
