I mean, like I said, it doesn't matter. You'll cap on a full endgame set. Most endgame sets won't even be worth getting legendary because of how expensive it will be to try and get that quality. Just go for epic on something like titan's shroud. It's armor toughness anyway that should be what you concentrate on. Leveling str also raises armor which you should be doing anyway. Armor toughness on a relic can help if you really need it but again, endgame setup won't matter. Especially if you have Prot enchants that add up to 20 as that too is the max prot. So ideally probably two Prot VIII and a Prot IV with Radiance and stuff on weapons for sustain.

Like, your damage will far out-do the healing that can be brought on by radiance III due to how fast you can attack and how much damage you can add to yourself via enchants, gear, and relics so it's only beneficial to you in combat

Why are my attack range increasing buff/enchantments/gems not working?
Better Combat defines its own attack range attribute. This attack range is designed to be a non changeable, intrinsic property of weapons. To get longer attack range, use different a weapon with longer reach (such as Claymore, Glaive, Spear).
From a game design perspective, increasing attack range of melee attacks with buffs/enchants/gems etc. is an absolutely unbalanceable mechanic.
No wonder no properly designed game (I know of) does increase attack range in such way. In every case this is an intrinsic property of the weapon or attack style

The loot is pretty dense in this modpack because there's a lot of structures. The world should be far more dense between structures, dungeons, and villages. If you're adventuring, you'll likely come around with quite a few enchanted tools (not so much things like mending books). I've had good success finding mending tools that you can disenchant on the grindstone for their enchants.

Some points in luck might help too

I've found like 3 mending/ub/eff tools and I don't do a lot of exploring compared to my friends. Found one pretty early on too on a stone shovel. Transferred that to the tool I wanted

It's a grindstone change from one of the mods. You put the tool on the grindstone with a book, it'll remove the enchants, destroy the item, and put the enchants on a book. You can't separate the enchants tho. Whatever's on the item is what gets transferred to the book. It costs level to transfer the enchants.

In the future, I believe this can be prevented by taking the waystone from the original spot in the village and moving it somewhere else a bit more in the open. Works for me, teleported to many villages now and haven't crashed yet. Just a bit of advice for after this problem is sorted.

For your server zere it would be different since you removed playerex and relicex. Although, you can find deathcap mushroom artifact and use the fist of fury from Archon for attack speed. I personally go with Berserk as I also mentioned that in my video. Critical is another interesting one I suppose without playerex and relicex.

No it is not permanent, but you can get cooldown III enchant as well as put unbreaking III and mending on it. Gotta find the artifact though, rng much like the other ones from mc dungeons artifacts. It provides pretty quick attack speed and movement speed in practice.

Yup, so just like the other classes (other than ranged ones) for max dps, it'll be dual wielding the warden axes with leveling dex to counter slow attack speed. About 20 points in dex will be all ya need max.

There's also a mod called "Biome Makeover" that will take an enchantment and move it up one level beyond what you can usually do but it will also curse your weapon. Some curses aren't worth imo, but results and opinions do vary on that.

There's a mod called Right Click Harvest. It allows you to right click certain crops with a bare hand to harvest.

But Charm also has a Hoe Harvesting addition. When you right click with the hoe on most crops, you will harvest and replant at the same time.

When doing Wheat, you have another option which is to harvest it with a knife for Straw. Straw can be used to create canvas > rope (reverse scaffolding), safety nets (2x2 block that absorbs your fall damage), and leads (without the slime)

To use the knife tho, you may need to turn off Cut through Grass in better combat settings

I like the villager method too tho, that's fully automated

But by hand, these are some nifty QoL features

the water boss gives water breathing, which lets merling breath on land

they can also walk on water with it

or sink like a rock if already submerged
