Hi all, I just downloaded the recent update for medieval MC [fabric] and I was wondering if anyone had good suggestions to reduce lag? I have a i7 5930k, 16gb ram and a 980. Taskmanager doesn't show them maxing out or reaching past 60% usage at most but I drop into single digit FPS when near big structures. Any help would be appreciated

I think you can only obtain the cheese wheel through villager trading at the moment. With the cheese wheel, you can place it on a cutting board and then get 4 slices using a knife (make any knife except iron because recipe conflict)

You need to create the wand from arcanus mod. Then you read the book by right-clicking it while holding it. The combination will tell you the mouse-clicks need to cast the spell with the wand. There are a few spells, it's a lite magic system.

Some things like Snake Tongues (Bewitchment) are very important ingredients only dropped by snakes. And snakes are pretty rare to come by, so breeding them seems pretty vital.

I've found quite a lot of snakes in my playthrough so I guess you are just getting unlucky or haven't gone on many explorations (5k blocks minimum to find different stuff)

No, there's diminishing returns on that. 50 points in luck = 63.4 % crit chance and evasion. You get no more crit chance and evasion after 50 points.

12 different eyes needed. You will want multiples of at least one because they break just like the eyes of ender. It will lead you to regular stronghold as per norm but you put the 12 eyes in instead.

I would still take diamond because durability. I have a dedicated server running with 5GB Ram with the 1.19 v5 Medieval Minecraft Fabric modpack. But after a few minutes the server will kick me and I cannot rejoin in any way other than restarting the server. This will happen at complete random times, once when I broke a block, the other time it was simply from running back to my base.

A few mods have been removed from the modpack: 1. Evironmentz, 2. Dehydration, 3. Journeymap, 4. WTHIT, 5. Zoomify-1.7.1.
Both client and server do not have these mods.

Edit: The crash is coming from something in the village, as soon as I walk towards it, it crashes.

Not necessarily, there could be lots of things to improve. Allocating more RAM, making sure you have Java 17 (most people have java 8), using GDLauncher instead of curseforge, etc. All these things worked for me but I was doing single player, however, the lag problem seems to be somewhat universal.

They spawn rarely afaik. The warthogs in the end are better for netherite as they drop shellpieces and two of those make 1 netherite scrap. So just farm those with a looting sword.

I don't remember. They are where the End Cities will be in The End and there's lots of biomes in The End now (Better End mod). Lots of those warthogs are around there. Just need to be careful because their attack knocks you far back so you can fall into the void if you don't position yourself against a wall. They are also strong so this is pretty much end game content.

Yeah, you need campfire cauldron on top of campfire and then a leather flask to carry purified water with you ideally. Water will be purified in 5 seconds in the campfire cauldron and then you can put in leather flask.

I like enderian, my only issue is when it is raining you can't go anywhere because water hurts you. Water Protection enchant exists but it can't stack with Protection enchant so there's no point. Other than playing around water, the enderian is pretty good.

Press "o" to read your class again and scroll down (mouse wheel) so you can see everything about it. Most people miss that, which surprises me but yeah.

I mean, I always recommend Fae. I personally think it's crazy good endgame due to natural magic protection and once you get an elytra, you have maximum flight control because you can use your ability to levitate and slow down. There's a wand you can get and a leap spell to fly faster even when just levitating. Fae also has no real cons because the cons listed literally have no effect on gameplay imo. Might have to get used to a slightly shorter range but there's an arm extender that you can create later on to expand your reach.

Yeah, you throw piglins a gold bar and then they throw something random back at you. One of those things can be obsidian.

could i post a screen shot? basically we've tried changing versions multiple times (as the one on the server site has 3 options for the mod pack) but only one of them we can actually see the server, if we match the version of the server listing with our client, it doesn't show up, and if we manually put in the server address we get an error

i reinstalled my java 17

and launched the game again from curseforge

maybe the bug had to do with my java? im not really sure

A friend of mine is getting a bug where when she logs in it doesn't display her items, and she's lagging really hard.

and it disconnects her eventually from the server

We've attempted to restart the server, flush dns, and remake character

I played fine earlier today. After coming home from my daughter's karate class, I decided to play some more. It kept crashing due to some entrypoint stage error. I moved my saves file, uninstalled the modpack, reinstalled the modpack and put the saves folder back in place. When I launch the game, it launches fine now, but it doesn't see my save at all. It is just empty. Any idea how to get my save to work again?

I tried that. Created a new world, selected human, left. Then I saved my previous save into that folder. Didn't work. When I launched the game, there was no saved world at all.
