no bff
lmfao sure
Alr slide cash app
now that is a bit concerning 😭
i can 100% tell u thats not usually something that happens when trying to install
if ur having issues w it generally working on atl u can try prism which has much easier steps and u can install java within the launcher u can run !macalt in #bots
im not sure abt ur computer going black i will be so fr that seems like a google troublshooting but i can try to help w other shit as a mac user
Alr thx
Ok so we’ve fixed the black screen problem
Now Idk how to download the content required for the game
like are u getting the some things cant be downloaded screen or do u just not know how to install the pack on atl
hit the open links buttons
it is nromal i fear w modrinth
they should start the download process automatically once u open each one n then u can move them to mods n resourc pack folders
How do I open a folder in modrinth
Wait I think j got it
Nope I don’t
It says to put them in the mods folder
Idk how to do dat
Wait I think I got it
go to the instance page then click the 3 dots
theres an option that says open folder. click that then look for the mods tab
just drag and drop all the mods it had you download into that folder and then you should be set. just do the same for the resource packs itll have you download but look for the resource packs tab instead of mods
also wondering if anyone has had any issues with the deeper and darker mod? im not getting any drops from the warden when i kill him and i did it 3 times just to be sure.
Is anyone else having a persisting issue where creepers still blow blocks up despite mob griefing being disabled?
Is it me, or the mod that let's you chop down a tree when breaking the bottom log is not working? I have to break all the tree now. It's now one block anymore.
no, I have the same issue. it shifts one block down without braking the whole tree
That exact issue. Thank you for explaining it better than me. 😅
do you run a server or just local solo play?
in config folder for server there is: fallingtree.json and inside you have to change this line: "breakMode": "SHIFT_DOWN", to breakMode": "INSTANTANEOUS",
same thing goes for client, just open the installation folder and find the file 🙂
Solo solo! 😅
I'll change that tonight. Weird how it changed by itself or maybe it was updated to be that.
yes, they changed it to be like that it's in the Changelog: "Mining a tree with an axe will now shift the tree downwards one block at a time, instead of the entire tree breaking instantly"
Did it caused crashing to some people breaking the tree at once? I'm fine with either. Was just wondering. But thanks for the info on how to change it 😀
no it just felt too overpowered to keep the config like that by default
its totally ok to change it on ur own n we suggest it even if u perfer it the old way :p
I have a problem
When I load up better Minecraft and join a single player world after a minute it's basically disconnecting me it's like nothing loads up blocks have no color and you just don't have internet I randomly start lagging as if I have a bad connection to a server, and when I try to quit and save the world, I get stuck in an eternal "Saving World" screen, forcing me to close the game through Task Manager

To better assist with fixing your issue, we will need some logs:
- Curseforge -> Right click the modpack instance -> „Open Folder”.
- ATLauncher -> Click „Open Folder” on the modpack instance.
- MultiMC -> Select your instance and click „Instance Folder” on the right.
- PrismLauncher -> Select your instance and click „Folder” on the right.
- For servers -> Open the folder containing your server files.
To find the „latest.log” file, navigate to the 'logs' folder.
To find the „hs_err_pid.log” file, simply look for the file name after opening the instance folder.
To find a crash report, navigate to the „crash-reports” folder and find the most recent file after your crash occurred.
Once located, please upload the requested file here. If it fails, upload to https://mclo.gs/ and share the link here.

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL. Keep in mind that ATL is NOT related to TLauncher in any way, and is not a cracked launcher.
To install ATL, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download. If you are on MacOS, then choose the "Jar" version under the "Other" tab.
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATL doesn't see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "Install". Then, follow the on-screen directions.
7. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.
This video explains the process: https://youtu.be/xMYW1wMbmkM
To transfer your Curseforge world to ATL, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATL and paste the Saves folder there. Do the same with the XaerosMinimap folder, or the Journeymap folder, to transfer over any waypoints you've created.
Because ATL downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATL also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATL installed.
you didnt follow any of the directions so just do a fresh install
Hey guys, my friend have a little problem, every time she join my world her world map with all waypoints wipes out
is there a way to prevent this?

Free Method
To host a server on your own computer, read the selfhosting guide.
This guide goes over how to install, create, and launch a free Minecraft server on all operating systems (MacOS, Linux and Windows). The guide also guides you through installing Java and optimizing your server for better performance.
If you are installing one of our older modpacks, ignore the "README" file that is included in the serverpack files, as they have outdated information.
Paid Method
We suggest renting a server from Bisect Hosting:
Approx. $10 - $25 a month depending on what plan you choose. You can also get 25% off with Code LunaPixel.
Go here and order a plan which fits you. We suggest 1GB per player but nothing lower than 4GB as the server needs at least 3GB to run.
Go to #server-hosting for more Info!
The following advice works for both the Free and Paid methods:
Transferring Your World
If you're playing Singleplayer and want to transfer your world to your server, simply go to your modpack files and navigate to the saves folder. Inside of this folder, you will see your world saves. Rename your desired world save to world. You can then transfer this folder to your server files. If your world was hosted via world sharing, this process has to be done by the person who would click "Share World".
Fixing Lag
To resolve lag issues, simply run the !tps command in #bots and follow the directions provided.
unfortunately not due to the nature of how worldsharing works
as chloe ran we recommend self hosting or renting a server if its something you'd need
self hosting could help?
self-hosting a dedicated server, that is dif from worldsharing, would make it so players maps save yes
the command chloe ran has a link to the guide on the top of the message
So I downloaded the server pack on curseforge, and whenever i try to launch the modpack using it the server crashes any ideas?
did you download from the app or the site
app
redownload from site
send the logs from the server then and someone else will assist when they can

You download it through a modded launcher like curseforge, atlauncher, prism, or modrinth
Can u send me the download
You need to download it through your launcher. Download one of those modded launchers and search it in there.

Hey does anyone know how to set up an Aether portal? I do the glowstone and water bucket, but I get a red portal and am teleported to the nether ceiling. It looks like v1.19.2v20 comes with CustomPortal API but for Forge and not FABRIC. Is there a fix for this? I am using CurseForge as my launcher.
Ty so much!
Better MC 3 - v32 crashed. The logs have been uploaded to mclo.gs:
- 1.21.1 [FABRIC]
- What launcher did you run Minecraft with? (e.g. CurseForge, ATLauncher, MultiMC, ...)
- Have you changed the modpack in any way except mods?
- v32
- Have you ever gotten past the crash condition without crashing, or does the game always crash?
- What steps cause the crash?

- Was just collecting wheat seeds from the ground hitting the grass.
!drivers
You (likely) need to update your graphics drivers in order to resolve the crash. Here's how to go about doing that!
1. Identify your graphics card
if you already know skip to the next step
- Open task manager
- Navigate to the "Performance" tab (on Windows 11 this is the button that looks like a heart pulse)
- Press the GPU 0 graph and read your GPU from the top right
Note:
In some cases you may see a GPU 0 and GPU 1. This means your CPU has its own GPU, as well as a dedicated one. You probably want GPU 1 (which is usually the better one), but you can ask staff to clarify if necessary.
2. Download your drivers from the manufacturers site
Depending on what you read before, you likely need drivers from either AMD, Intel, or NVIDIA
AMD: https://www.amd.com/en/support
Intel: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download-center/home.html
NVIDIA: https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
Note:
- For NVIDIA you want to select "Game Ready Driver (GRD)" (this is the default option) for the best performance. Once installing you'd probably prefer downloading GeForce Experience, which will notify you when there's an available drivers update.
- For Intel, you probably want to press "Get Started" under the "Automatically update your drivers and software", which will simplify the process and update everything automatically
- For AMD you probably want to just press "Download Windows Drivers", which will download something called AMD Adrenaline, which will update your drivers automatically.
3. Run the installation, restart your computer, and try playing MC again
- At this point, hopefully your Minecraft is running. If it still does not work, please post any new logs and staff will help assist you with finding the right solution.

Speaking of the quest book, is the nether gauntlet still bugged to do the infinite damage laser or was that just because of something in the cisco modpack
!server
Fixing Lag
To resolve lag issues, simply run the !tps command in #bots and follow the directions provided.
guys is the main difference between bmc3/4/5 just the mod loader? are they all being actively developed?
2/3 for fabric are actively updated/maintained 4/5 forge/neoforge updated mantainted
game versions dif, mod lists slightly differ
!compare

i see, sorry i know I asked a similar question the other day
isthere a fix for this?
i tried looking around
if you arent experiencing any lag on your end its safe to ignore the warn
if u are
!tps
Please follow the guide here for changing the Java version your server uses. This will improve performance dramatically. If you are on a third party server host, you likely can not change the Java version your server uses. Bisect Hosting and a few VPS providers do allow changing Java version, though, which can usually be done through your server dashboard.
The method on Bisect is to simply go to the main dashboard page, and select "GraalVM 22" as the Java distribution. If it crashes, use 21 instead.
For further performance improvements, you can also follow this guide.
Reducing server render distance in the server.properties file is also a very good way of reducing lag. Most of our modpacks include mods like Bobby and Farsight, which make it so reducing server render distance will not affect players.
If lag persists, run the following command ingame:
/spark profiler start --only-ticks-over 50
Then, send the link in this channel.
how do you ignore the warning
?
u just dont do anything abt it u let it be

so it doesnt have to be 100%

Is anybody having issues with the luna server hosting? It keeps saying an error occured in luna on 3 different computers
make sure youre on the latest version of the modpack
if you are and still having trouble they may be full
I guess theyre full then
!wsfull
World Sharing servers are likely currently at capacity
If you or your friend are receiving an error such as "An error occurred in Luna", or "Connection refused: no further information" when trying to play through "Open to LAN" or "Share World", it's likely that Luna's servers (used for world sharing) are currently full. We don't have a way to notify you when slots on our servers free up, but you are welcome to try again later.
We understand and recognize that this may be inconvenient, so we recommend in this case to host or rent your own server. Self-hosting is free, for more information on hosting options, type !server in #bots.
Please note as well that this is a static command, it does not change/know when servers are full or not
Summer break just started in US
Thanks
i believe the dungeons arise mod is apart of the modpack and i have it on my server. certain structures dont respawn their enemies, is there any way to respawn them myself?
You using the modpack on your server, or is a different pack and just using DA?

Hello, my bettermc is taking 100% of my gpu i don't know why
It should take more of my cpu not my gpu, no ?
!ws
Our modpacks don't support any mods that add singleplayer hosting / world sharing because we already provide free world sharing. The 'Essential' mod is therefore incompatible.
To share your world using our own world hosting, click the 'Open to Lan' or 'Share World' button in the game menu when in a singleplayer world, and share the world.
It will give you an address, like magma-cube.mc.lunapixel.gg, which your friends can use to connect directly to your world as if it were a server!
We still highly suggest not to play through LAN as LAN is untested and unreliable. Using it will cause longterm damage to your world.
There is no reason to use LAN, as we support both paid and free methods of hosting a server the normal way.
does the fabric version run better
fabric has slightly better performance as a modloader yes
so is it just better to use it over forge if possible
you can have slightly better performance than on forge/neoforge yeah the hand off is just theres a lot less mods on fabric than forge
oh okay
Im trying to play with my friend using share world thing but I've been crashing frequently with errors relating to ram and sometimes it says somthing about my gpu. I've been on the forge version so do you think switching to the fabric version might stop the crashing? Overall performance besides the crashes is alright except for occasional stuttering.
It does the same for us
both things arent due to the modloader i can tell u for sure so i doubt just starting over on fabric would fix the issues

Dumb question, I am new to all this. Just downloaded everything and after booting up the game I am seeing a bunch of resouce packs in the menu. Do I select all of them?
to show what I mean.
I am assuming I do select them. Just figgured I'd ask first though. It'd be my luck I mess something up.
No. Leave as is
gotcha thanks
how did you install the pack? you're missing a lot of resourcepacks here
Modrinth. I downloaded it opened it, and it told me I still needed to download more mods & Resource Packs. I clicked the button to open the links to these packs and installed them all, putting them in their respective folders.

You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATL installed.
fair enough
Is Modrinth just bad then?
Not trying to start an argument or anything I am just curious.
the launcher doesnt work very well
This v32 update, there is no server pack on curseforge.
Will this cause issues if only clients update? (Server version mismatch errors?)
yes, there is a serverpack
tf
I just refreshed and now its there
was it literally JUST uploaded? lmao
well thank you anyway, idk why it only showed the client for me like 2 minutes ago..
its been there for 8 days :p
I wish crafty had a way to keep this updated automatically, off to work I go now
https://mclo.gs/PlufUCR is there a way I can fix this? I just downloaded bmc3 and downloaded some extra mods of mines and whenever I try to create a world it crashes and gives me this.
Can someone help me with this?

Someone please help my L2 on my controller is really delayed with using the things and it glitches, idk if I should swap to a newer version (Idk how to convert my world so please help) or if someone knows how to stop my L2 from delaying and glitching sm :((
so it tells me when I enter the main menu that an update to v28 is available but modrinth lacks that?
should I just head to curseforge and try that?
or.. whereever

!define
Curseforge - Refers to both the Curseforge website and Curseforge Launcher. The Curseforge Launcher is a modded launcher used to play & install modpacks. ATLauncher is a better alternative. All modded launchers can be used to install & play both Fabric and Forge modpacks.
Modpack - A collection of mods. "Better MC 1.19.2 Forge", for example, is a modpack.
Modpack Version - The version of the modpack you are playing. v5, v6, v7, etc.
Minecraft Version - The version of Minecraft which the modpack you are playing runs on. 1.16.5, 1.18.2, 1.19.2, etc.
Mod - A .jar file which modifies the game in some way. "BetterEnd", for example, is a mod.
Forge - A mod loader which allows you to use Forge mods.
Fabric - A mod loader which allows you to use Fabric mods.
thats not how modpacks work
you cant just magically load a modpack on a different mc ver
Hello I am playing on the 1.21 mod pack and trees wont break and when i try to break them they infinitely give me wood
this is a common misconception, the config for fallingtree was changed, they break, it just shifts down 1 block, this is highlighted in the changelogs
how would i go about changing that?
i got it sorry i miss read that so trees will not fully fall anymore in this version of the mod
?
Yes, they won't
Understood thanks for that
u can change it in the fallingtree config
escape menu in game, mods, look for fallingtree if on singleplayer, change mode to insantenous
if on server theres a config folder, find that, and find fallingtree.json and can change it to instanenous there
awsome thanks that fixed it weird that is changed

Hey, I've got a question: I tried playing BMC2 with a friend but we cant find any multiplayer mods that do work with this modpack. We tried essential and e4mc. Does anyone have an idea how to play with friends without hosting a server in bmc2 fabric?
You don't need essential or e4mc. And we offer no support for Essential due to issues in the past with world corruptions
bmc2 should be fine, the current issues seem to be 21 related btw hazel

ATL also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. I started a bisect server for BM3. Im having an odd issue where any time i use an axe on any type of wood it seems to confuse itself on which wood to chop. kinda like a lag. but anything else is fine, wood with hands is normal as well. This is trees as well as placed logs. Any ideas?
look up as you mine
notice how the tree shifts down one at a time
that is intentional
but we are disabling that in the next update because nobody pays attention
it does it on builds to though. is that intentional as well?
yes
im sorry for the silly questions, im just trying to figure this out. Is there a way i can turn that off. its driving me and the kids crazy
i appreciate that more than ya know. thank you 😄

Hello there, quick question, is there a recommended pterodactyl egg to use when trying to host?. I've been trying to make my own alpine egg to then upload the server pack but I have not been able to manage that
Whats the best way to self host better mc other than the share world option

is the modpack safe? i do remember hearing abt a virus... (long ago but yeahh, i only now jst want to use this)
Yes, that's been fixed quickly
alright thank you!
should i use the modrinth app or prism launcher for the modpack?
we recommend prism over modrinth launcher
since you do get the option to browse curseforge modpacks as well
alright, thank u
please do not play on old versions of the modpack
due to the way modern modpacks work, a modpack does not necessarily get "heavier" unless like 200 mods are added that are all poorly coded
you will be fine, the latest version as a lot more content, fixes, etc

``` what do i have to do?
Hello, I have a question, because I play better mc 1.21.1 v30 with my friend and I wanted to use the essentials mod to play together but the game crashed and a message popped up that there is something called sharing the world, BUT because of this there are sometimes such lags, and sometimes my friend is kicked out. And I would like to ask if anyone knows what these lags depend on and how to possibly fix them/change the mod to essentials if that makes any sense. Please reply
Thanks in advance for your reply
If you're playing Singleplayer and want to transfer your world to your server, simply go to your modpack files and navigate to the saves folder. Inside of this folder, you will see your world saves. Rename your desired world save to world. You can then transfer this folder to your server files. Fixing Lag
To resolve lag issues, simply run the !tps command in #bots and follow the directions provided.
Please follow the guide here for changing the Java version your server uses. This will improve performance dramatically. If you are on a third party server host, you likely can not change the Java version your server uses. Bisect Hosting and a few VPS providers do allow changing Java version, though, which can usually be done through your server dashboard.
The method on Bisect is to simply go to the main dashboard page, and select "GraalVM 22" as the Java distribution. If it crashes, use 21 instead.
For further performance improvements, you can also follow this guide.
Reducing server render distance in the server.properties file is also a very good way of reducing lag. Most of our modpacks include mods like Bobby and Farsight, which make it so reducing server render distance will not affect players.
If lag persists, run the following command ingame:
/spark profiler start --only-ticks-over 50
Then, send the link in this channel.
will be fixed soon in v33.5, thank you
can you record a video or something of an example
I'm wondering what modpack i should play
bmc2 or bmc4
its a preference based thing, bmc4 generally has more content but people like fabric perfomance a bit better
Whats your take on each one?
which one has the better updated mods, what has the better overall modpack, etc
both are maintainted reguarly so mods get updated with each modpack update so it's not really relevant
i played more of bmc4 but i perfer bmc2
Because ATL downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATL installed.
The Essential mod is completely incompatible with all of our modpacks, and there's no reason to use it. All of our modpacks already come with built-in, free world hosting, by clicking the "Share World' button in the Open to LAN menu. You can learn more by typing !ws in the #bots channel. You can also run type !server in the same channel to learn how to properly host a server for better performance and more flexibility. In modpacks that aren't owned by us, you can use mods such as e4mc or WorldHost to host a server completely for free without Essential's many issues and crashes and the microtransactions that they constantly bother users with. To learn more about alternatives to the Essential mod, check out this website.
Same happened to me after the update to BMC 3 v33. The glove slot seems to have been removed.
I played it a long time ago so I can't remember it properly
I just play bmc4 now I'm in the end game and it's really chill
Anyone Help me, my world don't open after a crash with "Create Fabric" mod, Is this a problem with the Mod or the Modpack in general?
since its modified you should make a thread in #1061339968691257466
playing bmc3 is there any way to recycle diamond gear?
Did you ever find a solution? This also affects mud farms, seems to be related to the charmed mod. I tried removing just that mod and the dispensers worked again. However, when I tried it with just charmed it also worked. So the bug only seems to appear when charmed is installed alongside the modpack.
it's an issue with the charm mod that's being looked into
is it just me, or I can't actually open the "better end guide for dummies" book in BMC3- Fabric
im using modrinth and the pause menu in game looks messed up is there any fix for this? im playing 1.21.1 version through modrinth launcher 🙂
If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL. Keep in mind that ATL is NOT related to TLauncher in any way, and is not a cracked launcher.
To install ATL, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download. If you are on MacOS, then choose the "Jar" version under the "Other" tab.
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATL doesn't see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "Install". Then, follow the on-screen directions.
7. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.
This video explains the process: https://youtu.be/xMYW1wMbmkM
To transfer your Curseforge world to ATL, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATL and paste the Saves folder there. Do the same with the XaerosMinimap folder, or the Journeymap folder, to transfer over any waypoints you've created.
Because ATL downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATL also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATL installed.
i dont really want to be installing different stuff i dont really trust launchers and modrinth and prism are the ones i prefer to use if theres no fix for it then i might have just deal with it thanks for nothing i guess
we wouldnt recommend it if it was unsafe
but prism works just fine just install the cf ver
of the pack
"thanks for nothing" u were given support and said no i dont trust u
by the literal dev of the pack in fact
we don't support annoying or horrible launchers, ones we know are extremely unsefe
how does one view the server ip? im self hosting but using lunapixels servers. whats the command to find your current server's IP?
you mean renting from bisect?
no, im hosting a server and playing it on my PC
self hosting is from pc, world sharing is the mod that allows to just use your world and sharing it like lan, bisect is a rental company
whats the command with world sharing
it's the open to lan button in game
it doesnt work on v33
Please follow the guide here for changing the Java version your server uses. This will improve performance dramatically. If you are on a third party server host, you likely can not change the Java version your server uses. Bisect Hosting and a few VPS providers do allow changing Java version, though, which can usually be done through your server dashboard.
The method on Bisect is to simply go to the main dashboard page, and select "GraalVM 22" as the Java distribution. If it crashes, use 21 instead.
For further performance improvements, you can also follow this guide.
Reducing server render distance in the server.properties file is also a very good way of reducing lag. Most of our modpacks include mods like Bobby and Farsight, which make it so reducing server render distance will not affect players.
If lag persists, run the following command ingame:
/spark profiler start --only-ticks-over 50
Then, send the link in this channel.
hey yall, so i tried port forwarding and running a self hosted server but my friends can only join via lunapixel's ip. i was able to join using my ip address that i setup but the server seemed to prefer using lunapixel instead of my IP. how can i fix this?
!port
If you're having issues with your friends joining your server, your port for Minecraft may be closed.
-
Check with https://portchecker.co/ with your IP and Minecraft's port (drop down menu) to see if it's open.
-
If it's closed you will need to search online "How to open Minecraft port for server with (ISP Name)
Important note: a lot will allow port forwarding, but there may be some ISPs that will not allow any port forwarding. Please check online if this is the case for yours.
try the port checker to confirm it opened the port
what does it show when they try to join
app or site
is it not an issue with the server startup? theres a line before that says its starting a server on my IP+port:25565 then shortly after it sets a server on lunapixel
thats fine to ignore
the luna mod just lets you also use the servers it has to route packets through in case you cant use port forwarding
tried all solutions, firewall port rule, static IP address, and even changing the server.properties IP address to mine. how do stop the request to luna pixel servers?
you can safely ignore and just use your ip if you can port forward
you dont need to
if no one is connected to it its just idle
that's the issue, friends can't join even with ports open
yo, how do i activate vein mining in bmc2? keybind doesn't seem to do anything
bind the key in controls
Another thing i might add, joining the server using my IP in direct connection reset my minimap
check the vein mining config ingame
changing the keybind fixed it
is it not set as an enchant in bmc?
it is, but i think it didn't work because i have a 60% keyboard and that symbol require Fn key
probably interferes with something
try rebinding to a key that doens't have anything
yeah i did that, bound to dot
works fine now
could be a toggle instead of hold tbh
i noticed the vein mining config now only works on ores by default, so doesn't work on netherack/stone/granite (it used to in <v30)
you can change it to ALL in veinmining config file
Everytime I boot I am met with this error and dont know what to do
id make a world backup and do a fresh install because you arent supposed to update mods manually and thats likely the cause of your crashing 😭
Probably because some people (me included) use veinminer to clear out large swathes of land, and removing Stone of all things also removes the convenience of having a veinminer to begin with. Just be more careful how you use it, if you have it set to sneak you could set it to a hotkey instead.
should be a separate enchant for that tbh
it's extremely useful when used on ores, but this just makes it annoying
Then make a new pickaxe.
huh?
One pickaxe for ores, another for regular digging. If it's an enchant, can't you do that?
If the problem is mining speed, maybe consider slowing down
my problem is it being called "vein" mining, but instead mining everything
Alternatively, you could see if there is a block blacklist in the mod config
Veinminers are most useful for flattening mountains and such, more so than saving 3 seconds mining an ore
you could try blacklisting the block tag, whatever the equivalent to "forge:stone" is for Fabric
Veinminers have always been "every-block" breakers, tbh. As long as it was breakable, you could check the next block over for the same type and break that one too, rinse and repeat. Modpack devs often think this is too overpowered, so some do as I just suggested and whitelist only ores.
i dont really know though
i use it on some lush dirt in the biome surrounded by “witch” logs
Our modpacks don't support any mods that add singleplayer hosting / world sharing because we already provide free world sharing. The 'Essential' mod is therefore incompatible.
To share your world using our own world hosting, click the 'Open to Lan' or 'Share World' button in the game menu when in a singleplayer world, and share the world.
It will give you an address, like magma-cube.mc.lunapixel.gg, which your friends can use to connect directly to your world as if it were a server!
We still highly suggest not to play through LAN as LAN is untested and unreliable. Using it will cause longterm damage to your world.
There is no reason to use LAN, as we support both paid and free methods of hosting a server the normal way.
i tried that, gave me a error code with something like: unable to reach luna
are you on 1.20.1 or 1.21.1
i played the bmc3 on fabric 1.21.1
we're currently having issues with our worldsharing in 1.21.1, its being looked into
yes it should be, the bmc fabric for 1.20.1 is a completely dif modpack though
do not change the server.properties ip
change it back to what it was, either 0.0.0.0 or empty.
changing it worked, or removing the change?
Removing the change to server.properties
Left it blank and it was able to properly set the correct ip
Fix for ticking entity or ticking blocks crashes
Navigate to your instance folder:
- Curseforge -> Right click the modpack instance -> „Open Folder”.
- ATLauncher -> Click „Open Folder” on the modpack instance.
- MultiMC -> Select your instance and click „Instance Folder” on the right.
- PrismLauncher -> Select your instance and click „Folder” on the right.
- For servers -> Open the folder containing your server files.
Inside that location, if you’re single player you can find your world folder inside „saves” (for example „saves/New World”), if it’s a dedicated server - just look for folder named „world”.
- Forge -> Look for the „serverconfig” folder. Inside you need to edit the „forge-server.toml” file.
- NeoForge -> Look for the „config” folder. Inside you need to edit the „neoforge-server.toml” file.
Fix
In that file, change the value for both „removeErroringEntities” and „removeErroringTileEntities” from „false” to „true”, and save the file, then start your game.
Once fixed - remember to undo those values back to „false”.
