Luna Pixel's World Sharing

Our modpacks don't support any mods that add singleplayer hosting / world sharing because we already provide free world sharing. The "Essential" mod is therefore incompatible.

To share your world using our own world hosting, click the "Open to Lan" or "Share World" button in the game menu when in a singleplayer world, and share the world.

It will give you an address, like magma-cube.mc.lunapixel.gg, which your friends can use to connect directly to your world as if it were a server!

We still highly suggest not to play through LAN as LAN is untested and unreliable. Using it will cause longterm damage to your world.

There is no reason to use LAN, as we support both paid and free methods of hosting a server the normal way.

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.

To install ATLauncher, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATLauncher does not see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.
7. Let the mods download, ATLauncher will grab them from your Downloads folder and automatically add them to the modpack.
8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATLauncher, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATLauncher and paste the Saves folder there.
Because ATLauncher downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATLauncher also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATLauncher installed.

It originally popped up as an authentication outage, which does happen time to time, it wasn’t known to be an API change. Yes the official works with no problems as it’s owned and ran by Microsoft and Minecraft. It’s only affecting 3rd parties, even though Microsoft told us they would include or make sure not to break stuff too back for other launchers.

It’s bound to happen, we just had not known the outage was due to prep of 21 as it wasn’t announce yet for the launch date

I play with only a couple friends so it’s perf for me) which is much better host wise but there obviously are a few problems like mentioned above, mostly with implementing any updates and such, and due to how they work you have to update on their schedule and can’t adjust any singular mods

you're gonna need to binary search

I use Curseforge app to manage my mods, I'm on ver 1.20.1, just added Distant Horizon to BetterMC's mod list. I use Bliss shaders, as it's compatible ( I downloaded Bliss from the compatible shaders list on Distant Horizon's Github page). And then it worked by its own, I didn't change much parameters (8 chunks as render distance, and 128 with DH)

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.

To install ATLauncher, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download

3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATLauncher does not see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.
7. Let the mods download, ATLauncher will grab them from your Downloads folder and automatically add them to the modpack.
8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATLauncher, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATLauncher and paste the Saves folder there.
Because ATLauncher downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATLauncher also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATLauncher installed.

Hello, I am trying to figure out how to host a server on my own computer for me and my friends with BMC2 Fabric. I figured out how to host vanilla servers and how to host a fabric server with no mods on it but cannot figure out how to host a server with a modpack on it.

I use mrpack-install with the project id from modrinth (I also tested with the .mrpack file) to install the modpack, as is recommended by modrinth on their support page:
To play a Modrinth modpack on a server-side environment, you can use mrpack-install or the itzg/minecraft-server image if using Docker.

Then I use the universal fabric installer to setup the required server files.

After running the start.sh file (I'm on linux), it just fails to start and I don't know how to navigate or use the output.

Our modpacks don't support any mods that add singleplayer hosting / world sharing because we already provide free world sharing. The "Essential" mod is therefore incompatible.

To share your world using our own world hosting, click the "Open to Lan" or "Share World" button in the game menu when in a singleplayer world, and share the world.

Let me add some more context and then maybe I can chase down the problem. The server is shared hosting on bloom using modpack Better MC BMC2 [FABRIC] 1.20.1 v25. I changed launchers to AT and downloaded BMC2 v25, updated java path in AT and went through the rest of the faq. The problem persisted. The server modpack was using NethersDelight-1.0.0.jar and was giving 7 failed to render errors or something similar. Replacing NethersDelight-1.0.0.jar with NethersDelight-Refabricated-1.20.1-4.1.1.jar so far has been the only thing that worked.

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.

To install ATLauncher, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATLauncher does not see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.
7. Let the mods download, ATLauncher will grab them from your Downloads folder and automatically add them to the modpack.
8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATLauncher, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATLauncher and paste the Saves folder there.
Because ATLauncher downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATLauncher also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATLauncher installed.

Im using the curseforge version of better mc 1.19.2 fabric bmc1 V20, as far as changes to the pack are concidered there were a couple extra mods that were added that have since been removed. Other than that the game itself doesnt even crash, it just give that error any time I try to join specifically that server, the version on aternos that we were using still works fine
