Please click this link and follow the guide. If you are using a server host such as Bisect, you may be limited in your options and instead have a checkbox to use Aikar's Flags, which will also work:
https://github.com/etil2jz/etil-minecraft-flags
If you can not launch your server/game after using these flags, then remove the word java from the start. Also, make sure you are using Java 18 on 1.18.2 / 1.19.2 and Java 11 on 1.16.5. These should be downloaded from Adoptium's website.

If lag persists, do the following command ingame:
/spark profiler start --only-ticks-over 50

We suggest using one of these two launchers for several reasons. They are considered far better than any other launcher. When installing a modpack on either launcher, do it through the Curseforge tab within GDLauncher/ATLauncher. You can transfer your Curseforge save to GDL/ATL. Because you are downloading the exact same files, you'll still be able to join the same servers and worlds.

ATLauncher - Slightly harder to use, works offline, fast and efficient, has more features. Can be downloaded from https://atlauncher.com/downloads . Read the bottom of #faq for an indepth guide on installing a modpack using ATLauncher.

That property is primarily for those running multiple minecraft server instances from a singular host / physical computer with multiple NIC's.

Typically it is meant to be left blank, unless you need to dictate that the server only listens on a particular local IP/Port combination, which is not the case for 99.99% of people self hosting.

#

Alternate Scenario: You have two network cards, ones gigabit and ones 10/100 - you want to force traffic over the gigabit. You could put the LAN IP of the gigabit NIC there, forcing minecraft to only listen on that IP/Port combo, and have forwarding to that LAN IP setup in your router.

#

What happens: People try to fill it out with their public IP and the server laughs at them. Just leave it blank.

Don't have the other piece of information for you, you could look it up in the specific mods resource pages that adds additional job types, since I think in BetterMC there are a few new job types not typically available.

It's incredibly easy, but bisect does offer affordable hosting with good performance, so that's also a valid route if you don't want to deal with the maintenance of self hosting. Yeah you wouldn't actually use the launcher for hosting the server, but we can get into that at a later date if you decide to switch next week.

Though it's not technically a modpack issue, since the modpack works in it's native state without additional mods installed - just to throw that out there.

There should still be logs though, latest.log will detail what occurred during the attempted load, even if there isn't a technical crash that generates a crash report / log I believe.

idk why, but it seems that when i ride a horse, any type, and then give it levitation (using a flower called the bulbis anomaly, from BYG) then ride it while its levitating, when i ride it again, it levitates, nonstop, this is what caused me to lose my og horse (Terry, rip the lad,) and my nightmare horse (also terry, but now undead) has the same bug, anyone know why?

1. Press escape and go to the Resourcepacks tab.

I installed it from the website, I then pasted the files necessary for another random profile to be updated because the one i got from the website kept crashing my game, anyways, I pasted the files in that and then when it said an amount of files were already there I just clicked skip these files and then I had to paste the worldmap and world waypoints and i forgot the rest

fyi: in better minecraft (idk if in the main unmodded minecraft at all) you can shoot the crystals after they generate when your respawning the dragon, leading to a summoned dragon with no crystals, aka easy speedrun kill

using this + a tri bow using harming 2 arrows + a quiver for infinite harming arrows (this is a bug) i can 0 cycle a dragon

quiver + tri bow = infinite arrows, any type, so i can use a mending bow and infinitely use it,

like a mending infinity II bow, its infinity but better,

30 second dragon fight + able to kb a dragon backwards, im proud of this dragon killing spree

you actually do have to go into a testing world and see to be certain, that's what I did with mmc. You get the enchants either with REI cheats or creative mode, and then you test putting the enchant on in survival mode (as creative mode can bypass things).

Hello! For us to properly help you with your issue, you will need to answer all 8 questions below. Post the answers in this channel:

1. Have you modified the modpack in any way? If so, what did you do? (Updating/adding/removing mods, changing configs)
2. What launcher, or program, are you using to launch the game? (CurseForge, ATLauncher, etc)
3. What Minecraft version are you playing? (1.18.2, 1.16.5, 1.19.2)
4. What version of the modpack are you playing? (v11, v9, etc)
5. What steps are necessary to reproduce the crash? (Launching the game, exploring the world, etc)
6. Have you ever gotten past the point where the crash happens?
7. Send the crash report file into this channel. Right click the modpack, Open Folder, and navigate to the Crash Reports folder. Drag the newest one here. If there is no crash reports folder, do the same thing with the latest.log file in the logs folder.
8. Did you follow the Performance guide linked in #faq?

added a few mods, invview, anti-xray, environmentalcreepers. edited config for the seasons mod to disable it. no other customizations that i can recall
some users are on curseforge, some are atlauncher, the crash was server side though and the player that was signed in was afk
