An update to windows introduced a new security feature that prevents powershell files from running on your PC. This is great for your security, but not so great for our server start scripts, which require powershell to run them. Fortunately there is a quick fix for this!

Not sure if attention has been brought to this, but my game crashes everytime I get into a chest-boat and open my inventory. It also crashes if i get out, then open my inventory or Tom's simple storage terminal. Basically any inventory interaction following getting in or out of a chest boat crashes the game.

I do have a few added mods onto the pack so I installed a completely fresh profile of Better MC Fabric v17HF and made a creative mode world and the exact same issue occured. Instructing ppl on my server to stay away from chest boats for now 🙂

What I learned from better Minecraft randomly lag spiking to 0 fps:
its on better Minecraft only, some mod in it has been doing this,

I haven't found out what it is, but its not immediatelyfast,

its on all worlds, not just one, so my world isn't corrupted or something, its just randomly lagging because a mod is installed and its going haywire,

afking overnight may be the issue, as I afked overnight at a blaze farm and that's what started it.. or just bad timing,

I am terrible at files, but good at downloading stuff,

also thank you to calmingstorm for getting me off java 8 and helping me download stuff like adoptium,

4. What version of the modpack are you playing? (v11, v9, etc)
5. What steps are necessary to reproduce the crash? (Launching the game, exploring the world, etc)
6. Have you ever gotten past the point where the crash happens?
7. Send the crash report file into this channel. Right click the modpack, Open Folder, and navigate to the Crash Reports folder. Drag the newest one here. If there is no crash reports folder, do the same thing with the latest.log file in the logs folder.
