Buried treasure maps/ any other maps not loading

Any treasure map i get is just empty and when i use it it turns into a normal map.
is there a way to fix this in the Better MC [FABRIC](1.19.2 v16.5)

Try deleting options.txt, it will reset texturepacks to default, then load world, then unload stay true and put your other one in. Maybe it might work.

Hey there, I'm the project lead for the Aether project just checking in here because I see The Aether is listed on the BetterMC Fabric curseforge page despite not being included in the pack (as the Aether is not on Fabric just yet)
I believe this is because the pack includes Paradise Lost, an Aether inspired project made by a separate team. Could I request the title be changed to Paradise Lost on the Curseforge description to better reflect the actual content included? Ive had dozens of players come into my server after playing BetterMC assuming we would be the ones handling support requests and features for Paradise Lost because it's labelled as The Aether on BetterMC's page.

I know the Paradise Lost devs themselves have advised removing the mod entirely as its heavily WIP but I think simply changing how its labelled would solve this issue for me.

i fixed it! in case anyone else has this problem - i looked in the save folder, moved the level.dat file to my desktop and renamed the level.dat_old file to level.dat

Hi, I can't disable the Falling Leaves mod

I tried disabling it the mod's config, I tried setting the spawn to 0 in each tree type

And nothing works, they keep spawning, I don't care how minimal the performance Improvement is by turning that feature off, I just want to do it, since I have the culling activated for leaves by default, I don't see those Falling Leaves particles as a necessary improvement when the leave blocks look pitch black or like wool in some cases

Will I have to delete the mod from the folder?
I just want to make sure nothing breaks

Also, what makes the night sky be so colorful?
I have the feeling that also impacts performance in some way.

Hey all, played BMC 1.18.2 forge for a while and got really used to the Simple Storage Network and the tablet you can use to remotely acccess inventory. Im now plaing BMC 1.19.2 Fabric as it seems to have more mods and runs better, but it seems to be missing this mod. Is it as simple as just adding it to my curseforge modpack and server mods? it should be that simple - yes! i added a few small mods (replay, creeper overhaul, bewitchment, icarus) and as long as you have all the dependency mods for whatever you're trying to add, and you add the fabric version, you should be good

can make durasteel which is discount diamond and way cheaper

can make any of the mythic metals stuff

there's lots of routes and strip-mining is one of the least efficient

searching for a large crevace which leads into a deepslate cave is ideal if going for mythic metals stuff

elytraslot does not cause errors

and the ftb launcher does not work

deleting random mods is never a solution. use ATLauncher, not FTB launcher

and update the modpack. you are 3 major versions out of date

please read the tutorial quests in the quest book

if you already generated the nether on v15, you will need to generate new chunks to find soul stone

okay, sorry I misspoke. For bmc1 [fabric] I was using version 16.5. However, I have started again with the server version 16.5 and with all the default setup, including all mods and it has been again crashing on startup. It doesnt generate a crash report so here is the console output:

Okay I got the server running, but my friend can't join via my public ip. Weve had the same problem with a completely different modpack (ftb chocolate). I however can join just fine

Depending on ISP you need to go into your router portal and select the port forwarding option

That will tell the router to direct incoming traffic on that port to your computer and therefore to your server

I simply deleted the "minecraft:spawner" line and was able to move spawners again

Hey is anyone else having an issue with the world generation. For context I and running server will 10gb dedicated wam and at walking pace I can reach not loaded chunks and if more than 1 or 2 people are exploring along the server will disconnect us

And I added the Sky Villages mod to my game, and voila, one spawned right above spawn as well

It was awesome generation

And right at spawn

But I shelved the world because honestly, I wanted to try building something as opposed to just taking control of the structure, plus, it was huge

Hey, i went trough the search bar now and read a couple messages from people who asked this before but can somebody confirm for me

I just killed the ender dragon and to hatch it i need to go to the (Void Shadow? never been there) and get something from there (Fame status effect?) and then i can normaly place the egg on the floor and right click it to hatch it ? And with a dragon saddle it will be rideable ?

The server is running, I can join and play, my friend can't, but they can for other modpacks. They don't even see that the server is online. So how could this error be caused by me not installing the modpack correctly? Don't get me wrong, I just want to understand the error. Thank you
