Luna Pixel's World Sharing

Our modpacks don't support any mods that add singleplayer hosting / world sharing because we already provide free world sharing. The 'Essential' mod is therefore incompatible.

To share your world using our own world hosting, click the 'Open to Lan' or 'Share World' button in the game menu when in a singleplayer world, and share the world.

It will give you an address, like magma-cube.mc.lunapixel.gg, which your friends can use to connect directly to your world as if it were a server!

We still highly suggest not to play through LAN as LAN is untested and unreliable. Using it will cause longterm damage to your world.

There is no reason to use LAN, as we support both paid and free methods of hosting a server the normal way.

I'm having this issue too and it's happening across worlds. It's really starting to bug me because there's no apparent reason for what's causing this.
I load in, stare at the missing texture mess for a few seconds, then the game crashes itself.

Its mostly the difference in game versions and some mods get updated and some mods do not. You can check the modlist on each and find which modpack has the mods that you like

So I'm sure the biomes exist in your world, but with how super rare they are...

just started playing mmc4, was having issues with bone meal, figured out it was serene seasons, but you can't use any of the commands for serene seasons on the latest version of the modpack, disabling "serene seasons fix" solved that for me

“Fly freely” in this context just means fly for no extra hunger cost. you can also boost upward though, if your armor isn’t too heavy

It works the same as Icarus flight basically, but without hunger cost

There’s no other wiki besides the in game descriptions, but I could make those a bit clearer for people who are unfamiliar with Icarus

Medieval MC is a bit more challenging, has stronger medieval/fantasy theming, basically no tech mods (there's "magical tech" through mods like Ars Nouveau), and some realism mechanics

Please follow the guide here for changing the Java version your server uses. This will improve performance dramatically. If you are on a third party server host, you likely can not change the Java version your server uses. Bisect Hosting and a few VPS providers do allow changing Java version, though, which can usually be done through your server dashboard.

The method on Bisect is to simply go to the main dashboard page, and select "GraalVM 22" as the Java distribution. If it crashes, use 21 instead.

For further performance improvements, you can also follow this guide.

Reducing server render distance in the server.properties file is also a very good way of reducing lag. Most of our modpacks include mods like Bobby and Farsight, which make it so reducing server render distance will not affect players.

Hello everyone, quick question regarding the skill tree, do these mods function correctly or is there a hotfix issue, i dont see my physical damage increase in character stats after aquiring certain skills (example: damage increase when wielding a shield) as well as the Valkyire race 25% damage increase on spears.

i found that some shields in the modpack don't count as shields for that passive, try the vanilla Minecraft shield and see if it works
the Valkyrie spear increase works for me, when you look at spears, lances or glaives on JEI it should say at the bottom that it deals 25% more damage (forgot what the buff is called)

this option (and i think combined with farsight) causes chunks to render completely invisible depsite us colliding with blocks in them. i turned off this option with farsight installed and i stopped running into invisible blocks.
also simply removing farsight also fixed the problem with chunks rendering invisible.
sometimes i'd have to walk on top of a chunk to get it to render at all. joining a server it wouldnt render beyond a few chunks despite server distance being set to 8

although i dont really know what this option does much at all depsite it having a description.. if some one else can confirm anything about this
edit: doesnt seem to fully fix the problem but greatly reduces it happening, but i am flying around as a pixie at super fast speeds. supposedly i heard the reason i'm having this issue with this option is that the game is prioritizing other things above rendering chunks, and sometimes doesn't try to render chunks at all unless i'm on top of them, i wonder if farsight casues further issues with this

Please follow the guide here for changing the Java version your server uses. This will improve performance dramatically. If you are on a third party server host, you likely can not change the Java version your server uses. Bisect Hosting and a few VPS providers do allow changing Java version, though, which can usually be done through your server dashboard.

The method on Bisect is to simply go to the main dashboard page, and select "GraalVM 22" as the Java distribution. If it crashes, use 21 instead.

For further performance improvements, you can also follow this guide.

Reducing server render distance in the server.properties file is also a very good way of reducing lag. Most of our modpacks include mods like Bobby and Farsight, which make it so reducing server render distance will not affect players.

If lag persists, run the following command ingame:

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.

To install ATLauncher, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATLauncher does not see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.
7. Let the mods download, ATLauncher will grab them from your Downloads folder and automatically add them to the modpack.
8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATLauncher, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Incomplete wither skellys are a good choice, higher tier gems drop as you lvl up your skill tree and it drops even if you don't get hit you probably just need better looting + scavenging enchantments

Simple Storage Networks allow for infinitely expandable storage that can be accessed from any dimension, at any distance. To set one up, you'll first need a Network Root and Request Table. Try to keep this all in one chunk (viewed by pressing F3 + G) and do it somewhere with a good bit of vertical space. Place the Request Table above the Network Root. Generally, the simplest way to gets lots of storage is to make a tower of double chests from bedrock and then a tower of Link Cables which attach to the Network Root. When you run out of space, you will need to make more Link Cables, as one cable can only attach to one double chest. If you're playing a modpack with the Sophisticated Backpacks mod, you can use maxed backpacks instead of chests to conserve space. To access the Network from anywhere with a Crafting Remote, click the map icon at the top left of your inventory then click the next map icon in the same area. Here, you can click to claim a chunk (disabling creeper explosion damage) and then shift click to "Force Load" it. You can tell it's loaded when there's red lines going across the chunk. You can also put the Crafting Remote in a Curio slot (accessed by clicking the ring icon in your inventory) and then bind "Open Remote Curio" to a key of your choice for easier access.

I'm trying to add Valkyrienskies and EURIKA! (dependend on physics mod) into the modpack to drive my boats.
The modpack loads but then runs into a mixing error and crashes. Sadly I can't seem to find the correct versions for the mods,
so far i have
Valkyrienskies 2.3.0-beta 5
Phsyicsmod 3.0.14
Eurika - 1.5.1 -beta 3

The modpack is on 1.20.1 - forge 47.3.12 (i think thats the latest)

Most of the crashes dont even generate a log (at least not in the curseforge launcher)

Do you have any workarounds or can you help me add these mods?

In MMC5 latest v10, I can't seem to get vanilla lava generation to work. I have a row of 8 lava source, then a row of 8 dripstone block directly below, then a pointed dripstone under each block, then a cauldron under each of those. Only the first or maybe second cauldron ever fills. The others never ever fill, even when I afk there. I noticed someone else earlier with a similar issue. Any ideas?

Okay I disabled Lithium, changed random tick to 1000 for testing, and it works with Lithium disabled ONLY if you break and replace the cauldron (breaking and replacing the dripstone not enough). Then I turned Lithium back on, and they still worked. So the problem is is placing the cauldron with Lithium on, likely.

Since two of them worked, it maybe that you can break and replace the cauldron a bunch with Lithium on and get them to work. I don't know though.

Please follow the guide here for changing the Java version your server uses. This will improve performance dramatically. If you are on a third party server host, you likely can not change the Java version your server uses. Bisect Hosting and a few VPS providers do allow changing Java version, though, which can usually be done through your server dashboard.

The method on Bisect is to simply go to the main dashboard page, and select "GraalVM 22" as the Java distribution. If it crashes, use 21 instead.

For further performance improvements, you can also follow this guide.

Reducing server render distance in the server.properties file is also a very good way of reducing lag. Most of our modpacks include mods like Bobby and Farsight, which make it so reducing server render distance will not affect players.

4. I am using the "Luna" modpack included in a slew of other mods, called Medieval MC. I assume this is Luna (it's why I'm in this channel). It doesn't say a version but the closest thing is "1.19.X" which says it is compatible with 1.20.1, so I don't think that's the problem.
5. I have not gone past the crash condition.
6. I believe once the downloader hits a certain mod it crashes (but I could be wrong). The crash report says something about AAA particles.

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.

To install ATLauncher, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATLauncher does not see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.
7. Let the mods download, ATLauncher will grab them from your Downloads folder and automatically add them to the modpack.
8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATLauncher, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATLauncher and paste the Saves folder there. Do the same with the XaerosMinimap folder, or the Journeymap folder, to transfer over any waypoints you've created.
Because ATLauncher downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATLauncher also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATLauncher installed.
