If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.

To install ATLauncher, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATLauncher does not see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.
7. Let the mods download, ATLauncher will grab them from your Downloads folder and automatically add them to the modpack.
8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATLauncher, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATLauncher and paste the Saves folder there.
Because ATLauncher downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATLauncher also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATLauncher installed.

this is actually the worldgen bug that caused us to need to remove mods in the first place

if you send your original level.dat I can fix it temporarily so you can load up and change your chests

If ur talking about the skill tree enchantments amplification, I would assume it means that it gives you "blank" chance of increasing the level of the enchantment u were going to get. Ex: you were going to get sharpness 3 but instead get sharpness 4.

   there have been 3 causes so far that we think are the issue, a dowsing rod to locate amethyst, mining in the nether and last was a relic that activated after using the sacrificial knife to fill the blood altar one to many times and it continued to stay active past death

attached both the crash and the log as we have restored previous backups to try and get our world back and are still unable to log in

The shield overhaul mod replaces the normal block function with parry. If you set your config or server config for it to parry = false it should go back to how you like it!

Open the game directory (right click pack -> open folder), navigate to the "crash-reports" folder and upload the latest available crash report.
If there is no crash report, navigate to the logs folder and upload "latest.log."

Has anyone had any success with adding a wearable light source to the modpack? I've tried adding Curious Lanterns and have been able to get them equipped in the belt slot and see them on my character, but they don't provide light when equipped that way. The documentation for Curious Lanterns and Radiant Gear (a dependency) don't really give me a lot for troubleshooting.

I'd like to have some form of lighting in caves that doesn't rely on having something in my offhand so I can still use a shield.

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.

To install ATLauncher, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATLauncher does not see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.
7. Let the mods download, ATLauncher will grab them from your Downloads folder and automatically add them to the modpack.
8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATLauncher, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATLauncher and paste the Saves folder there. Do the same with the XaerosMinimap folder, or the Journeymap folder, to transfer over any waypoints you've created.
Because ATLauncher downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATLauncher also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATLauncher installed.

I have a question. I'm opening a MMC4 server on a dedicated computer (Windows 11) everything runs normally, but since the only use of this computer is to host this server, I want to add more RAM to the server.

The issue is that I modify the "user_jvm_args.txt" file to increase the maximum RAM from 4G to 8G (the computer has 16G so I think it's okay to use half of it just for this ). But when I run the start.ps1 it overwrites the "user_jvm_args" and returns it to -Xmx4G.

Hey all, eternally greatful for the ability to wear my tide/dragon armor as an elf now, but the -10% speed is slightly annoying, especially when wearing a full set it becomes -40%. I know the Weightless enchant fixed the "unequippable" thing in the previous version, but is there something that could limit the speed debuff in the same way?

Survive's Featherweight is disabled completely.

Medieval Origin's Featherweight is a treasure enchantment. You can either try to get it from a villager or use a Deepshelf of Arcane Treasure to unlock Treasure Enchantments for the Enchanting table. You'd also want to use as much Arcana as possible, as the enchantment's rarity is Very Rare (and Arcana make rarer enchantments more common).

Hey, I got a question about the magic system in Medieval. How do tomes work? i find spell tomes, read them, but i dont know how to use the spells in them.

I'm having a weird issue. after playing for about 5 minutes, my game immediately starts lagging heavily to the point where I only have 1 frame every 30 seconds or so. something appears to just nuke my CPU. I'm also getting spammed by an error in minecraft game output, and I've seen a similar issue in other games where an error gets spammed so much the game crashes. it's just "[mojang/GlDebug]: OpenGL debug message: id=1006, source=API, type=ERROR, severity=HIGH, message='No detailed debug message due to a non-debug context'" 10,000 times and being spammed at an alarming rate

Mob spawners can be customized to your liking. The Capturing enchantment can be used to rarely get monster spawn eggs when killing mobs. These can then be used to change the mob that the spawner will spawn.

On top of that, a wide range of items can be used to further buff spawners. Some items include sugar and clocks, which can reduce the minimum and maximum times that the monster spawner will spawn mobs, and chorus fruit will disable the mob's AI (making it harmless and unmovable). There are more items you can use as well.

For max experience gains, you'll want a high leveled affixed sword with the Experience Gained attribute and Ancient Knowledge (as high as you can get it, prioritize this if possible). On top of this, you'll want Knowledge of the Ages, Looting, Scavenger, and Sweeping Edge. Try to max out the first 3 enchantments, and for gems, you should use an Endersurge gem (if you have access to the End) and more Experience Gained gems.

Armor toughness reduces the effects of Armor Pierce and Armor Shred attributes (which are only on Apotheosis bosses).

Basically you have to kill a bunch of tough dragons (Not the Ender Dragon).

And yeah, it's the best material in the game. Just type Dragonsteel in JEI and look at the stats.

But yeah there's 3 new types of dragons: Fire, Ice, and Lightning Dragons. All of these spawn in the Overworld. They have really high stats (but nothing compared to some other bosses). If you don't have really good gear, they'll destroy you. But basically, you have to kill a bunch of one type in order to get bones, scales and dragon blood in order to build a structure from which you can forge it. Then, you have to get a special dragon egg from them and hatch it, then use it to fuel a dragon forge. Then, just some Iron and Dragon Blood can be turned into Dragonsteel.

You're supposed to go underground and find an Abandoned Cabin structure. There, you can find barrels with cave tablets and paper. With the spelunking table, you can get cave scrolls (if you're having trouble with it, just look up a galactic alphabet translator). Combine that with 8 paper to get a map to a specific Alex's Caves biome.

If you're having trouble finding a cabin, you can find maps to it in Abandoned Mineshafts.

If starting a new world, you'll get a screen stating to select your origin. If the mod was added properly, it's origins will be able to be selected.

If you're already playing on an existing world, you'll need to craft/use an Orb of Origin. If there is no recipe to craft one and you don't have one, you can cheat one in and use it to change to one of the new origins.

It's a mod. I believe there is a Leaf Walker enchantment you can get to walk on them again.

I don't know about this actually. I'd need to figure out the mod id that adds the potion effect.

My guess though is that it's probably from a Farmer's Delight mod

You could easily check in creatively though using the /effect command

Or if you get it in game, I believe you can just hover over it with advanced tooltips on to figure it out.
