so the cause of this issue seems to be incompatibility between terrablender/citadel, but they claim to have fixed the issue in the mod versions we're using. @polar apex is this a new world you made on v17HF?

you can replace this as a workaround, you might get some hard edges between generated and unexplored chunks

make a backup of your world first

Not judging, it's more like certain things can have dependencies and such so we ask people to not mess with the resource packs. As far as the mod, just check modpack index for a list of mods that are in the pack and look up the ones you don't know to find your answer.

An update to windows introduced a new security feature that prevents powershell files from running on your PC. This is great for your security, but not so great for our server start scripts, which require powershell to run them. Fortunately there is a quick fix for this!

Run powershell as administrator, then run Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned. Read the prompt and press accept. This will allow us to run scripts.

Next, navigate to your server directory using cd path/to/directory (for example: cd C:\Users\Username\Documents\Minecraft\Server)

You can now run the server by double-clicking the start.ps1 file, or typing .\start.ps1 into the command line while in the directory.

IF THE ABOVE DOES NOT WORK, TRY THIS
Run the command Unblock-File -Path .\start.ps1 in the same powershell window. This will allow the start script to not be blocked by windows, and run freely.

I have a question about lag/latency on our private server. We have been playing for a few months now and everything has been great but currently we are experiencing lag/latency like we've never seen. So much so that the game has become unplayable. My question is this: if we are running two different versions of Java one to run another program and one to run Minecraft do you think they'd have a conflict and cause lag?

So i attacked a farther out Arch Evoker tower to test a strategy for the one nearby, i set some traps and started blowing up the tower to bring the Arch evoker down and hoping they'd chase me into the trap, they didn't, unfortunately, they were smart and stayed back firing at a distance. I've gone on a siege ever since my last post against every Arch Evoker tower that i had marked on my map, and i came across the last one so far i'm aware of which was really far out. So the leveled mobs mod (or whatever it's called that makes mobs farther out tougher), this one was more of a real fight of dodging and weaving through vexes, dying a few times and coming back with repaired armor, before i finally realized my problem was when i retreated too quickly to heal or deal with the vexes, that he would just heal back up despite me burying him in a spike bed and showing him in poison splashes and arrows, and anything that i could use to deal D.O.T

Finally, i got in close at full health and realized a strategy that if i keep swinging when he summons the vexes, the sweeping edge of my spear could kill 1 or 2, or a few of them right away making me have to retreat less, and i kept sending summons into the pit to wrestle with him along with my poison strat and finally killed him.

Now there's one new problem... as i was picking up his drops, i heard a creeper twice, panicked and looked behind me, only for nothing to be there, i heard a ghast at one point, nothing was there, and now i hear some sheep that sounds like it's in a cave nearby but i see no sign of it on the map.
Has my conquest against the arch evokers to steal their powers driven me insane?!

About that. We ended up fucking the balance of the game by adding spice of life, not realizing how OP the skill system is.

So we added Majrusz’ progressive difficulty and bumped up the npc damage and health to about 200% lol

Just sharing, maybe people here would find Majrusz a good addition if they feel their game went out of balance

I feel like 1.20.1 apoth is more balanced than its previous versions. Passive skill tree can do some insane stuff tho

I usually go for enchantment and armor upgrades. +100% Crafted Armor and +100% Crafted Toughness

The gem stuff too. At least those have been nerfed in 1.20.1
No longer easy to get max rolled gems and the qol has increased too. Since in previous versions, you could put multiple of the same apoth gem on a piece of gear. You can't anymore.

Apotheosis makes you even more op than passive does. Also, I got like x4 layers of armor and x3 layers of hearts and I can still have a challenge fighting illager raids,fighting some bosses and fighting apoth bosses(nearly got 4 shot by one).

The only things that won't be a challenge are common mobs

Also, there is a limit on how many skills you can get in passive. 85. You can go into the configs and raise exp requirements and the max lvl or lower it. I raised both. Before the limit was 85, is now 150 and last lvl exp requirement is 15,000. Currently somewhere around 12,000, from 85 to 86. That is like 60+ lvls. Not much if you got a good exp farm with knowledge of the ages 3, but its something

I haven't checked, but I believe you can also reset your tree in there

I hope they don't add ultimerite into mmc4.
Ultimerite + Apoth = most op thing. You are immune to everything and have godstacked level of armor.
