After hours of online search and a lot of testing i finally got rid of an very speciffic error.

It causes a stack overflow on client side. You are never able to connect to the server anymore.

However dont try to reinstall your minecraft and stuff, its a bug with the mod advanced Pillagers.....i guess 😕

NEVER EVER LOGOUT/DISCONNECT WHILE A RAID IS NEAR YOU!!!!

So if you see the raid bar ontop, like a little healthbar, DONT DISCONNECT.

It causes a bug where the stackoverflow client side begins.

To resolve the bug you have to have access to the Server data, copy your playerdata from the server in /world/data onto your computer for later (you can figure out what file is yours by checking the console while connecting, the encrypted filename is displayed there). Delete the original file on the server, reconnect to the server, therfore creating a new playerdata file.

Then you have to defeat the raid, till the raidbar disapears, disconnect, replace the new playerdata file with the one you copied from the server and there you go.

If you dont do this the only way to get back to the server is to delete your playerdata, reconnect and therefore kill your entire progress.

So... fuck me

There's several crucial mods for increased performance which are already included in all Luna Pixel Studio's modpacks. They should only be downloaded from Modrinth, Curseforge, or Github:
1. Rubidium - Sodium port for Forge. Magnesium is an alternative to this, but it's no longer maintained and doesn't support Oculus.
2. Oculus - Iris port for Forge. Allows for shaders without Optifine. Requires Rubidium.
3. Rubidium Extras - Fixes issues from Sodium and Forge to increase performance, adds Ok Zoomer (a Fabric zoom mod), and much more. Compatible with Magnesium.
4. Entity Culling - Prevents mobs that are behind walls from rendering.

Sorry - I'm asking about something again. We have a small Medieval Minecraft Forge server (think < 10 players) and the rest of the players are fine, but my partner and I keep getting timed out, especially when one tries to join while the other is online. Our connection isn't the best, but other games work fine and another Minecraft server from the same host also works fine, ping in double digits.

Any ideas?

A company we already have our main server with - don't wanna go into detail, I don't want it to count as advertising somehow.

The modded server is a side-project, we change the modpacks from time to time, hence why it's more convenient for us to just stick to one host and change the mods on that by ourselves.

if you're being timed out it could be an issue with the host or something on your side

as some general troubleshooting i'd suggest you to do the following on your side:

disable anti-virus
disable firewall
flush dns
restart router
switch to GDLauncher

for your first question its probably the 'bettercombat' mod makes you feel like t-rex arms, you can remove it

hey, my boyfriend is trying to get a server up and running off of his own computer and we keep encountering the issue of "could not find or load main class @user_jvm_args" and despite everything, including removing java 8 and changing the java home of his computer to java 17, it will not work.
