Careful with Tlauncher. It's malware. I'd strongly suggest using a different launcher and making sure to advanced uninstall/ really clean out your computer cause it's going to straight up leave spyware on it when you uninstall

The quests aren't really meant to make the medieval minecraft modpacks have rpg-quest-like progression. It's more to just guide new players to dealing with a large modpack, since many of them don't use Advancements for progression.

If you want quests that act like an RPG, then fantasy realm is where you should be playing.

Simple Storage Networks allow for infinitely expandable storage that can be accessed from any dimension, at any distance. To set one up, you'll first need a Network Root and Request Table. Try to keep this all in one chunk (viewed by pressing F3 + G) and do it somewhere with a good bit of vertical space. Place the Request Table above the Network Root. Generally, the simplest way to gets lots of storage is to make a tower of double chests from bedrock and then a tower of Link Cables which attach to the Network Root. When you run out of space, you will need to make more Link Cables, as one cable can only attach to one double chest. If you're playing a modpack with the Sophisticated Backpacks mod, you can use maxed backpacks instead of chests to conserve space. To access the Network from anywhere with a Crafting Remote, click the map icon at the top left of your inventory then click the next map icon in the same area. Here, you can click to claim a chunk (disabling creeper explosion damage) and then shift click to "Force Load" it. You can tell it's loaded when there's red lines going across the chunk. You can also put the Crafting Remote in a Curio slot (accessed by clicking the ring icon in your inventory) and then bind "Open Remote Curio" to a key of your choice for easier access.

Okay, I am using CurseForge, I have 10gb ram allocated to Minecraft.   1. Quivers? How do I use them? I found a regular and a fire quiver but cannot figure out how to actually use them.

You're probably thinking about the fabric version. The forge version has them all disabled. Like the on/off button in the back pack isn't there and clicking where it would be doesn't do anything. I assumed it was for balancing and they were just cosmetic tbh. I use the squid backpack :)

It is highly advised to not use Optifine, as it is very glitchy, will increase loading times to upwards of 10 minutes, and will decrease your FPS substantially. All Luna Pixel Studios modpacks come with shader support without Optifine via Oculus on Forge and Iris on Fabric.

How to create a server:

  1. Download the serverpack from Curseforge's website
  2. Right click the start.ps1 file and click Run with Powershell

I don't get lag but I know Falling Leaves mod controls the leaves that you see falling. I think the settings cherry blossom forests was weighted higher, so more leaves would fall. You should be able to tweak it/disable it and see if it's that what's lagging you more than usual

hey why is there almost no regular animals like chickens pigs and cows as well as only a few wyrmroost spawning consisting of the rootstalker and the overworld drake as they're the only ones, beehives also tend not to spawn at all as well so we can't tame grizzlybears

Hmm, I know that 1.16.5 at least has a lot of things available to spawn in many places in the overworld and other dimensions. It is possible the the chance of everything spawning technically lowers due to more things being able to spawn, thus not seeing any of a certain type of mob. In this case, Alex's mobs.

Ah, just realized I misattributed the mod. The problem is with Dead Guy's Untitled Deep Dark on 1.16.5. There's a built-in guide that, according to the mod page, is supposed to viewable by pressing F1. In practice, this menu comes up on a different hotkey. In my case, FN+F3 brings it up. The other person was saying that pressing ALT brings it up though

Other people have tried to add it before and get crashes. The mod isn't compatible in the sense that you can just add it and go. If your YT video is correct, that person had to do a good amount of extra work to get it going probably.

Since that one player claimed they could just add it, you might wana hit them up and ask what they did to make it work (unless they are bullshitting)

very weird. I have 2 PCs one has Ryzen7 5800X 64gb ram rtx 3080 and runs medieval minecraft 1.16.5 like a charm, but I get 1fps and 100% cpu usage with the other PC that has Ryzen 7 5700g, 32gb rab, rtx 3060. Anything I'm missing?

At first i was confused, it wouldn't even let me join my server because I had the dragon backpack on (Gives fire resistance and other effects) so I thought something was corrupt

When I and my friends trying to go to deep dark via cold deelslate we are forced quit the server with error Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.EncoderException: java.lang.NullPointerException there's no other error log.

On sidenote, the Feywild mod Dwarves have completely black skin, I did find out that you can change some setting for it to fix that but Feywild mod has no 'config' file for it in mods menu, anyone know where to change those settings?
This is what I found on the forge page, it sounds like the thing I have but yea, can't figure out where to change those settings so if someone else knows, would appreciate that, it's not like gamebreaking but it is kinda weird to see

Simple Storage Networks allow for infinitely expandable storage that can be accessed from any dimension, at any distance. To set one up, you'll first need a Network Root and Request Table. Try to keep this all in one chunk (viewed by pressing F3 + G) and do it somewhere with a good bit of vertical space. Place the Request Table above the Network Root. Generally, the simplest way to gets lots of storage is to make a tower of double chests from bedrock and then a tower of Link Cables which attach to the Network Root. When you run out of space, you will need to make more Link Cables, as one cable can only attach to one double chest. If you're playing a modpack with the Sophisticated Backpacks mod, you can use maxed backpacks instead of chests to conserve space. To access the Network from anywhere with a Crafting Remote, click the map icon at the top left of your inventory then click the next map icon in the same area. Here, you can click to claim a chunk (disabling creeper explosion damage) and then shift click to "Force Load" it. You can tell it's loaded when there's red lines going across the chunk. You can also put the Crafting Remote in a Curio slot (accessed by clicking the ring icon in your inventory) and then bind "Open Remote Curio" to a key of your choice for easier access.
