Beyond that, I would work on something else in my survival world if not able to figure that out or take a break.

If traveler's backpack is in then there's a bat backpack that you can find in mineshafts randomly that will give nightvision. Fabric also has trinkets and one of them is a monocle and that one provides night vision, not sure on forge. Other than that I'm not sure. I imagine blood magic and ars nouveau could have some solutions.

Fire dragons will spawn in anything except snowy, desert, jungle, savannah, and badlands. Snowy biomes will be ice dragons. Desert, Jungle, Savannah, and Badlands should be lightning dragons. That's the easiest way to know where to look for the dragons you want to find.

Ender, Fae, Blaze can be if you get sorted in the Nether, Siren is good when you gain a way to be immune to fire, Shulk is good survivability starting out

Blazeborn was the one that starts in the nether specifically is what I was saying. However Fae is good all-around because no real cons, flight which leads to late-game flight control once you have an elytra, natural magic protection, secondary ability is regen for a bit of hunger so good survivability. Personally I think Fae has the most potential.

the wings it drops are broken

Yup, that's what I like about ender. I hate the water thing though. Not sure of the ways to mitigate it with this version, in fabric the only way I know of is water protection enchant but that doesn't stack with regular protection so that's the only issue for me personally

Another oddity is that one of the enderman was holding an end portal frame

I tried using an ender eye to find s fortress and it didn't work.. so I used /locate fortress and I guess those aren't in this modpack

You can't silk touch spawners as it is disabled. You can enable silk touch in the Apotheosis config.

By default you have to craft spawners using spawner shards. It's very tedious.

FYI I found the deeper dark kinda underwhelming. Everything is so spread out, and when you do find caves, theyre barren and have only a few mobs. Although the mobs do drop a few good books.

Honestly after the 3rd world where the village I spawned was in spitting distance of either a dragon or a cyclops, I just upped the distance from world spawn (0,0) that they can spawn. The default is only 500 and all my spawns tend towards the 1000's, usually have the dragon's roost inside the village with me insight of it

Also the way from home distance can be changed from 40 to a lower number so they can’t fly away as far from their roost and spawn chance

I personally don't know the best as that is subjective based on goals as well as I haven't played this particular modpack. Judging from mods mentioned, you absolutely won't die if you have full upgraded bound armor from blood magic and have grinded blood magic all the way through because instead of taking damage, it takes blood points out of a pool/structure that you put your blood in.

Hello, uhh, can we remove/disable these Enderman? What Mod pack are they coming from?
I got Enderman up the WAZZOO any time i explore, Fanmade Endermen, Endermen riding Pigs, Endermen with Wings, they wont leave me alone or stop spawning!

I just made one and mob spawning rules are very different. Went through all the trouble of mining up a bunch of magma blocks only to be getting about 50% zombie piglins and a mix of blaze, bucky, and the angry shroom things spawning on the platform - not to mention the drop bears spawning on my bottom-half slab roof.

Apparently if you have an infinity book

You can enchant it onto a bucket of water and have an infinite water source

And I bought one from him

And as I was about to enchant a bow with it

I just saw the water bucket icon

And I was like, "No fucking way."

And low and behold

An infinite water bucket

I usually install a small room with an infinite waterpool

But this right here?
