If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL. Keep in mind that ATL is NOT related to TLauncher in any way, and is not a cracked launcher.
To install ATL, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download. If you are on MacOS, then choose the "Jar" version under the "Other" tab.
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATL doesn't see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "Install". Then, follow the on-screen directions.
7. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.
This video explains the process: https://youtu.be/xMYW1wMbmkM
To transfer your Curseforge world to ATL, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATL and paste the Saves folder there. Do the same with the XaerosMinimap folder, or the Journeymap folder, to transfer over any waypoints you've created.
Because ATL downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATL also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATL installed.
I did but the server kept crashing when we went into video settings.

The Essential mod is completely incompatible with all of our modpacks, and there's no reason to use it. All of our modpacks already come with built-in, free world hosting, by clicking the "Share World' button in the Open to LAN menu. You can learn more by typing !ws in the #bots channel. You can also run type !server in the same channel to learn how to properly host a server for better performance and more flexibility. In modpacks that aren't owned by us, you can use mods such as e4mc or WorldHost to host a server completely for free without Essential's many issues and crashes and the microtransactions that they constantly bother users with. To learn more about alternatives to the Essential mod, check out this website.

Please follow the guide here for changing the Java version your server uses. This will improve performance dramatically. If you are on a third party server host, you likely can not change the Java version your server uses. Bisect Hosting and a few VPS providers do allow changing Java version, though, which can usually be done through your server dashboard.
The method on Bisect is to simply go to the main dashboard page, and select "GraalVM 22" as the Java distribution. If it crashes, use 21 instead.
For further performance improvements, you can also follow this guide.
Reducing server render distance in the server.properties file is also a very good way of reducing lag. Most of our modpacks include mods like Bobby and Farsight, which make it so reducing server render distance will not affect players.
If lag persists, run the following command ingame:
/spark profiler start --only-ticks-over 50
Then, send the link in this channel.

send a screenshot of your java args in launcher
What is that and how do I get it?
Did you mean these?
I just copied and pasted what was on the performance guide
Yes, I've been trying, and yes, with that too. Thanks a lot anyway.
how much ram does your pc have
Yeah, I’m not sure. I installed 26.5 for neoforge and it crashed me and a friend when we went into graphic settings multiple times and our resource pack folder button was missing.
I’ll try it again later when not as many are on to see if I can replicate it to post the logs. I just rolled back to v25 for the time being since everything was working for our server.
Is 8,192 good?
yes
what
the issue in your log is just the beyond earth mod lol
all you need to do is remove it
it works perfectly fine on the latest version of the modpack lol
just remove your java args
Are those the Java args
?
Okay
so everytime i try loading into a world for better mc it keeps crashing my game
read the white pop up that shows after you crash
Yes, I'm using Google Translate. I meant that when they told me it was a problem with the mods I added, I eliminated them one by one until I found the problematic one. Thank you so much for telling me exactly what that mod was, xd.
will do
Is there any more ways to kind of get a bit more performance for BMC4?

So i made it past generating world but when i got to loading terrain it just crashed but no white log showed up?
Please read the full contents of the #get-support channel for us to provide assistance.
Is there any known compatibility issues with better MC 5 v26 and luckperms on the server side?
how much memory do you have total
should be fine
Ok, it’s probably crashing because of one of the other mods I added then, when I remove luckperms it works. Thanks tho

How do i add mods into the mod pack? im a very newbie modder and wanna have shaders
and the base ones wont work

!optifine
It is highly advised to not use Optifine, as it is very glitchy, will increase loading times to upwards of 10 minutes, and will decrease your FPS substantially. All Luna Pixel Studios modpacks come with shader support without Optifine via Oculus on Forge and Iris on Fabric. Optifine is also incompatible with all of our modpacks. The game will not launch with Optifine installed.
If you are interested in Optifine alternatives for your own gameplay, you can find a list here
Note that a majority of these mods are already included in our modpacks.
For an indepth explanation of why Optifine is bad, you can read this document created by Sodium's developer, Jellysquid.
ok thank u i've deleted it and will try again
you dont need to add anything for shaders
the pack comes with Oculus already
update to v39
v38 is old and broken
well they wont load
and also never use optifine
please be more specific
"they wont load" tells us nothing
I open the game and launch the world. Go into settings and theres no option to manage shaders or anything mentioning shaders. I tried looking in every part of the settings and i cant find it
my game crashed :')) but thank you

How long should it take for dragons to hatch? It's been 30 minutes. I clicked the egg and particles have appeared
depending on the egg, if that's the aether one, you'll find it needs height to hatch (170-200 high)
wait, I need to move it to 170-200 in the y axis?
I thought that was only to change the egg type
well the egg would change if you have it close to a specific biome iirc

If you right click/break it there's a little blurb that sorta indicates how much time is left.
the "special conditions" don't affect the hatch time, but using those conditions can transform them into another egg.
That text that says "it looks like the egg will take a long time to hatch" will say something else when it's close to hatching

i forogt to mention i had a world in progress and didnt want to lose... any ideas for that part?

lets see if that works

best I can suggest is wait for someone else to weigh in. Chloe pops in with responses when she can.
asaint did you make any changes to the pack beyond the mods you added yourself?
other than adding mods no
and ur positive you added both of them back?
elaborate more on what you mean?
into curseforge or the atl thing
because now i have both
into the mods folder, you said you repaired the profile, did you add both of those mods back to the instance after you repaired it on curseforge
the mods are still there'
when i clicked repair
it didnt remove them
ill send those
I have been trying to troubleshoot this error for a few hours now and I cannot find any good resorces on what exactly is happening. I dont have access to server-side right now (this is a freinds server) but I was wondering if anyone had an idea of what could be causing the issue...
- 1.21.1 [NeoForge]
- CurseForge is the client launcher, the server is hosted through Bisect
- The server was updated from BMC5 v25 to v26, clients updated from BMC5 v25 to v26.5
- v26 Server Side, v26.5 Client Side
- With the server running, client side attempts to log on and while trying to join the world, the error occurs. Clients are unable to join the server
6.Clients using BMC5 v26.5 trying to join a Bisect server running BMC5 v26
so, i'm trying to add LuckPerms (NeoForge v5.14149), to my Better MC 5 v26 server, but when i connect using a Better MC 5 v26.5 (MC v1.21.1) client I get the following errors on the server (https://mclo.gs/HfVwK0K) and client (https://mclo.gs/WAm0OIX) . i did have other additional mods installed that were working fine without LuckPerms but have removed them for now.
which luck perms are you adding
the mod or the plugin
oh nvm
ignore
what do you need luck perms for
General perms really, I usually install it on my servers
perms as in
you could probably replicate something similar with the ftb essentials mod instead
Ok i will take a look, i'm used to PaperMC, i did't play modded mc multiplayer for a long time becuase it was a pain in the past.
the pack isn't in paper
it's forge/neoforge
which honestly, will be easier in the long run probs
i know, that's why i installed the neoforge version
launcher?
Did you grab the mod from curse launcher, website? dif launcher?
How's the server being hosted?
v5.4.140 from modrinth, v5.4.158 from luckperms.net but that crashed the server
so i rolled back to v5.4.140
Prism Launcher (Windows)
Bisec Hosting
preinstall, or did you install serverpack yourself
autoinstall then installed LuckPerms via scp/sftp
was it working fine prior to adding?
any other changes?
None that i didn't rollback,
Better MC 4 - v39 crashed. The logs have been uploaded to mclo.gs:
Im using CurseForge to play the forge version of BMC4 and I added some mods to the pack which all worked fine as I thought until I simply just put an iron helmet on and then the game crashes, the problem seems to be with paracool and epic fight as I removed them after and rejoined and it was fine, but then readded and it stopped working again. Does anyone know a fix or why this could be happening?

If you are using a cracked Minecraft launcher, we can not assist with your issue. In order to receive help, you need to switch to an approved launcher and provide proof you have purchased Minecraft. This is due to the terms of service and guideline agreements of both Mojang and Discord.

You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATL installed.

ok
Alright update: testing 2.3.2 and 2.3.0 they do work but they are very laggy, like TPS is -5 laggy even on my decent tower. The frames bounce between 100-233 FPS, though it still is very fussy. Only 10 chunk render/sim distance.
I installed ATL, and I'm getting a message saying it can't write files in its current location

sorry for the bother i was able to fix it

Free Method
To host a server on your own computer, read the selfhosting guide.
This guide goes over how to install, create, and launch a free Minecraft server on all operating systems (MacOS, Linux and Windows). The guide also guides you through installing Java and optimizing your server for better performance.
If you are installing one of our older modpacks, ignore the "README" file that is included in the serverpack files, as they have outdated information.
Paid Method
We suggest renting a server from Bisect Hosting:
Approx. $10 - $25 a month depending on what plan you choose. You can also get 25% off with Code LunaPixel.
Go here and order a plan which fits you. We suggest 1GB per player but nothing lower than 4GB as the server needs at least 3GB to run.
Go to #server-hosting for more Info!
The following advice works for both the Free and Paid methods:
Transferring Your World
If you're playing Singleplayer and want to transfer your world to your server, simply go to your modpack files and navigate to the saves folder. Inside of this folder, you will see your world saves. Rename your desired world save to world. You can then transfer this folder to your server files. If your world was hosted via world sharing, this process has to be done by the person who would click "Share World".
Fixing Lag
To resolve lag issues, simply run the !tps command in #bots and follow the directions provided.
Chunky
its unlikely it'll have any effect on your world

hey guys, how do i host a lan world between myself and a friend,
we opened the world and i gave him the server link and port code but he cant join and i cant join him if he makes a world
is it possible for it to work like this or do we have to setup the server hosting stuff
Is there a mod to make moving villagers easier
there's none

You run out memory. Increase memory allocation and close down other applications (for example: Browser, Discord)
I messed around with that too, but both the server and clients are using the same exact pack & mods.
What is interesting however, is for some reason, the person who hosts the server is the only client not expirenceing this error. We have tried using their exact zip file/pack and still cannot pass the error.
odd, this is an issue with recipes from EC somehow failing to sync. not sure what could cuase such discrepancy considerng its not happening to all of you
oh and previous versions were affected jsut as much, its just that i added safeguards recently to cause an exception when that was detected if it somehow was to happen instead of having the results of having broken recipes
you can try the newest version, wont change much but has a bit clearer errors
Gotcha, will be the next thing on my trouble shooting list lol.
Thank you!

Our modpacks don't support any mods that add singleplayer hosting / world sharing because we already provide free world sharing. The 'Essential' mod is therefore incompatible.
To share your world using our own world hosting, click the 'Open to Lan' or 'Share World' button in the game menu when in a singleplayer world, and share the world.
It will give you an address, like magma-cube.mc.lunapixel.gg, which your friends can use to connect directly to your world as if it were a server!
We still highly suggest not to play through LAN as LAN is untested and unreliable. Using it will cause longterm damage to your world.
There is no reason to use LAN, as we support both paid and free methods of hosting a server the normal way.
hold an emerald in your hand
For an indepth explanation of why Optifine is bad, you can read this document created by Sodium's developer, Jellysquid.
never use optifine

You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATL installed.
its works now ty homie

Hi 👋
I downloaded the BetterMC4 modpack from CurseForge as well as added to it Ultimine and FTB Essentials.
I found a place to build a base and successfully built said base (including chopping trees, clearing land, etc) with no issues. Then, I went to a nearby pond to begin making a farm over it. I was placing dirt and got two debuffs, Mining Fatigue 3 and Block Bane 3. They both last for 5 minutes. I enabled cheats and began making my mineshaft (close to the base that I built with no problems) and the debuffs just continue happening.
I do not have ANY enchanted gear. I have only eaten bread. The biome is a birch forest.
What mod(s) are doing this?
run the /structureessentials namenearby command
see if theres a structure nearby
it may be inflicting the effects
Will do! Let me get my game open
it says there is a salt shrine and a sourcerer's hut?
and a forgotten well

ok
and i dont know why you added fabric api lol
thanks
i dont think you can
Could the well be affecting me even if I haven't touched the water for a long time or do I only need to touch it once?
i think you just have to go in the water for it to happen lol, as long as you dont do that its fine
Issue is I’m in my mine, haven’t touched the water and I just got the debuff
Yes I am
see if it happens far away from your base
It does not
there could be a mob nearby inflicting the effect? it'd have to have a really big radius though
Yeah it doesn’t. I had a spawn point far away and mined a few blocks, nothing
There is a sourcerer’s hut
Howdy, BRAND new to the better MC been playing for a couple hours, and stumbled across Umvuthi man that dude looks sick! but he almost killed me :3
Update: it was not the sorcerer. Killed it, still getting the buff. Could it be the salt shrine?
Hello, I have a server hosting BMC4 v37 with my current map, and I just want to update the version to v39. When I do, it just reset my progression, and I just start on a new map. If I try to create a backup, and upload it on my server, the map is stuck in v37, even if the server mod is currently in v39. Any ideas/advices to update the version of the map? thx!
anyone have a server I can join?
There's tons of public servers there!

for better mc5 is there a free multiplayer?
Bmc5 Hey sorry about that. I’m having an issue for the past 2 days and can’t figure out what happened. I had a save and was super impressed with the optimizations and how well it ran with shaders. I was getting 180fps-250fps with euphoria patches on. The following day after v26 and maybe v26.5 came out my game was now down to 90fps-160fps. I tried redownloading a brand new instance of bmc5 and it has the same exact issue. I download the v26.5 and fps is great. What happened to the older version after the new one came out? I can’t figure it out for the life of me I’ve tried everything. I will probably end up updating but I just want to figure out how the older version lost that.

To better assist with fixing your issue, we will need some logs:
-
Curseforge -> Right click the modpack instance -> Open Folder.
-
ATLauncher -> Click 'Open Folder' on the modpack instance.
-
MultiMC -> Select your instace and click 'Instance Folder' on the right.
-
** For servers** -> Open the folder containing your server files.
To find the latest.log file, navigate to the 'logs' folder.
To find the hs_err_pid.log file, simply look for the file name after opening the instance folder.
To find a crash report, navigate to the 'crash-reports folder and find the most recent file after your crash occurred.
Once located, please upload the requested file here. If it fails, upload to https://mclo.gs/ and share the link here.
No crash report but I'll get the other thing
have you sent a crash report yet
!ca
It exits me out the server onto the menu where you choose the servers, so its not a crash rlly
Yea it isnt crashing
its just exiting the server
Oh, I see 🙂
With this message before it exits
Yep, I would assume the same
But then how is everyone else joining, cuz I have it installed
Either mod is missing, or its config
Should the owner check if its installed
yeah
im really really bad with this kinda stuff so this is a dumb question but how do i play better minecraft with shaders
It already has shaders?
i think
not for me
Go to video settings
open video settings there is a button called shaderpacks ay the top
THANK YOU!!
Have you found an answer because I was asking myself the same question
i wanna buy server minecraft and i wanna play with 5 ppl in total and i wanna add create mod and better mc to it as well how much gb of ram do i need?
guys are string dupers disabled?
Hey guys so I’m playing on bmc4 and will I have to start a new world if I switch to bmc5?
depends
If BMC5 is on newer Minecraft version, highly differnent set of mods, or in a different modloader (e.g. fabric instead of forge) then it's highly likely that a world migration will not be a good idea
Ah ok thanks for the clarification
Do you know if the mod pack is worth switching to?
Are these the only options
That's a question I cannot answer. Some people will like it, some people won't
Try it, worse that can happen is few hours lost
i wanna buy server minecraft and i wanna play with 5 ppl in total and i wanna add create mod and better mc to it as well how much gb of ram do i need?
i think the good rule of thumb was start at 5 and add 1 gig per person, so 10 gigs in your case? someone else can chime in if they know better/otherwise
updated the server and tried to log in and got an error message
Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.DecoderException: Failded to decode packet 'clientbound/minecraft:update_recipes'
Anyone else running into this issue?
for BMC5 btw ^
on which website should i buy server?

I'm using Bisect as suggested in this
5 to start, +1 per player.
the server needs 5 to run and have 1 person playing. so you want to add 1 gig for each person playing. you can probably get away with 9.
bisect has a slider where you can input how many people you'll have playing and it will make a suggestion for you
depends on modpack?
yeah
really?
where can i check it
bisect will let you pick the modpack too and tell you based on that.
before you commit to buying anything
where can i do it
scroll down a bit and just start picking options
Hello, mind if I ask a question regarding this issue?
This mod is often crashing on my PC, I am not sure whether I should remove it or not
which bettermc should i pick? 5 or 4? i wanna also have create in it
i started and it still tells me to pick ram?
that part i'm not sure about, i dunno what create calls for
lmao it says recommended 1
XD
wait
maybe i did smth wrong
it says 6
u lied to me
huh
lemme do it again
maybe i did something wronmg
what did u pick
like fabric forge or curseforge
here
i picked forge recommended
go to the serach bar just above that and search for "better mc"
okay
that'll configure the server for you and install all the mods for you
Anyone have an answer regarding this one?
It keeps crashing a lot
Is it fine to uninstall that one?

My advice is: don't update mods unless you either know what you're doing (and can manage mod dependencies and read error logs), or if you're told to do it by someone who knows. Best to leave it to modpack makers
yes but its getting updated automatically
Mods don't normally update on their own
So why does it get updated
or i guess it comes updated?
Is the storage network getting updated the problem?

Alright
Can you give me a seed ?
Well how do i even fix or find out what my problem is
Did you manage to check with the server owner, is it still about the lack of FTB Quests?
That aint a problem, since everyone else has already joined just fine

how should they check

Anyone know about this?
Ask them to open inventory and look for this icon in the top left
If that opens fine, and they get the quests then let me know
Does that show up just right after they press E

is vivecraft compatible?

Anyone can help with this issue regarding the Storage Network thing
What happens when you join
It runs normally and after I hit a couple of trees, it crashed but sometimes it doesn't even need me to hit the trees the game will randomly crashed
Does the crash assistant always appear
Aight, I can't help you tho, just wanted to know if ur having a similar problem as me
Ah, I thought you already have an enlightment like I do, I guess we are on the same boat for now
Well if I dont find a solution for my problem today, I've been trying to fix it for 2 days now
with like 0 progress
the hosting service support is no help, and this support is no help
Yep, the crash from storage network is really annoying, I just booted it and now booted out of the game again
Ah I also want to ask, in the other account, I download the same modpack, there is this thing when I tried to chop a tree, the entire tree just chopped down and the loot falls normally, which mod is that? I wonder, it's really helpful to chop so fast like that
Try searching up like tree chopper or something similar
Ah found it, is there a specific button for that or not? because in the current one that I am using (this client where the game keep crashing) it's not happening at all
I think you gotta crouch
Same for vein miner
I see, thank you for the help1
how do i host a world for me and my friends with better mc ?
!ws

Please follow the performance guide to improve your game performance, as this is likely to resolve your issue.

For Mac devices using Apple Silicon/arm (M1/M2/etc.) CPUs
There is an issue with Java 17.0.8 and newer where you may experience "A fatal error has been detected by the Java Runtime Environment", which can cause the Java runtime to crash under a variety of circumstances. To resolve this:
Mac:
- Go here and hover over the Download buttons until you see one with the option to install a .dmg file. If you have an M-series Mac, then make sure to install the ARM64 version of this file.
- Run the
!alternatescommand in #bots and follow the directions. If you already have ATL installed, move on to step 3. - Click "Settings" on the right
- Click "Java/Minecraft" at the top
- Set "Use Java Provided by Minecraft" to false by unchecking the checkbox
- Manually specify the following Java path in the text box to the left to the "Reset" button:
/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/zulu-21.jdk/Contents/Home
bmc5 gets weekly updates, bmc4 is pretty stable and complete
check jei
ah so in terms content they are basically the same?
not really
just different mods available between both
check modpackindex to compare
what is jei? lol
please read the tutorial in the questbook ingame
ive searched in there but it doesnt explain how to craft the items, just shows what can be crafted
please read the questbook for how JEI works
I followed those steps but it still crashes

im playing bmc4 with a total of 3 people by hosting it on my pc is there a way to make it so they dont lag?

Please follow the performance guide to improve your game performance, as this is likely to resolve your issue.
thanks
whats the biggest factor in players haveing low ping?
low ping is good?
lower ping = faster connection

your instance settings might be overriding the Java Path, check in Instances > Settings > Java/Minecraft and see if the settings are different from your global settings
oh it uses java provided by minecraft but how do i disable that in the instance settings
what are the options if you use the dropdown on Use Java Provided By Minecraft?
it works now ty

thank you for helping kurisu!!
I need someones help please
!dontask
If someone is around who can help, it's better if they can see the full question.
Instead of asking
Is someone around who can help me?
Ask
How do I fix this crash?
This gets you a faster response and prevents wasting time.
So I dont know if anyone uses bisect hosting. But I have a server that has been running perfectly until tonight, it was lagging like crazy so i decided to restart the server to try and fix lag issues. When I started it back up I got an insane amount of errors talking about error with the jar files with mods. Not sure if its corrupted or something. I asked in here since the mods are not loading (I think) the server then just stays at "encrypting" bisect hosting server is dead as hell and I kind of need an answer right now. Would really appreciate if someone helped out
yeah
this seems more of a bisect question tho honestly if it randomly broke
Sadly the bisect hosting server is a ghost town, thats why I was hoping someone here could help since its still somewhat related to the mod
anyone know how to change my ui to the ui bmc had around version 26 because i recently updated to version 39 and it doesnt show me the % of all my armour and the tool im holdign anymore and its annoying
I am on version 36 1.20.1 btw, not sure if that is useful or relevant to the problem. Not sure if the yellow is actually a problem, but the red is.
did you modify the pack at all
Nope
you can see your tools durability by looking at the bar under the item in your hotbar, and the armor graphic will change based on durability
i wanna say try reinstalling the pack server side maybe i dont really know thats strange lol
chloe is here maybe they will know a better way
you need to update to v39
Need to?

this might be a dumb question, but when updating will it wipe my server world data? I have a lot of progress in the game
as long as you transfer your world folder
How do I transfer my world folder, it doesnt state that in the tutorial
Should I not click this? or can I. Just curious if its as easy as clicking that to update or if its safer just to follow the entire tutorial
server or player side?
thats on the server I believe

I know, I've been watching it, im following it. I just noticed that button and was wondering If I could do that instead of going through the tutorial, or if its safer just to follow the entire tutorial instead
also do I have to follow this? I dont have any single player worlds that I care about. Could I just load up version 39 and still play the server with all my items from v36
in the bisect server, not any single player worlds
it's tied to your player ID. Long as it's same MC account you're fine, but you do need to update player side and server side both
to access the server
k
Why does the older versions like bmc5 v25 loose performance when v26 and v26.5 came out? I can’t figure it out
what
y 13 or so
same as vanilla
that hasnt been working either, im playing on a server
what? How is it not working? You changed the pack any at all?
Only Lava, water, thatch, and ecto plasm are showing up
please how do i report a game breaking bug
is better mc multiplayer ? like is there any way to play with friends without having to buy a server ?
!ws

Why do I keep getting an exit code 1 im using version 1.20.1 I updated all the mods and its just giving me exit code 1
do not update the mods, it breaks the pack
please do not update mods
Oh alright
what do I do then
because when i try joining the server, it says some of the mods need updated
the server you're joining is not on the same modpack as you
Okay I’m on my phone account atm since I’m updating my bios on my pc rn
I went through the server host and directly clicked the mod pack it’s on, installed it, tried playing it. And it’s still giving an exit code one
Please read the full contents of the #get-support channel for us to provide assistance.
also you still need to do a fresh install of the pack
you broke it by updating mods
It is a fresh install
Will do
ok for some some really dumb reason, the moment I actually go and try to list everything it starts to work
💀
unrelated to support but, i gotta ask. Why get rid of the sort inventory feature with v39?
press middle click to sort
anyone know a good xp farm set up
I cant rly find any on better mc which im sure there are items to make a pretty good one
Where can I report bugs?
I noticed if you place an egg that you discovered, the quest gives you every single one
We fixed it, but you didn't rlly speak to me u just ran commands and said "do this, do that"
Because im trying to report a bug?? 💀
what modpack?
yes
its much faster for me to give you two commands that explain everything you need to do
rather than me explaining a 20 step process to 50 people a day
I guess
please just say the bug

You seem to be using an older version of the modpack! Updates often fix issues, and yours might already be fixed, so please try again with the latest version of the modpack to see if the issue persists or not.
but then why is 26.5 marked as an unofficial release?
Maybe because it's a hotfix
But it fixes that particular issue

the server you are joining is not online
how is your server hosted
dont use radmin
it sucks
if you're joining your own server just type localhost in direct connect
and join
!port just portforward
If you're having issues with your friends joining your server, your port for Minecraft may be closed.
-
Check with https://portchecker.co/ with your IP and Minecraft's port (drop down menu) to see if it's open.
-
If it's closed you will need to search online "How to open Minecraft port for server with (ISP Name)
Important note: a lot will allow port forwarding, but there may be some ISPs that will not allow any port forwarding. Please check online if this is the case for yours.
or just
when your server is online
it'll print an IP in the console
ppl can join via that
but it'll be laggier than if you just portforwarded
btw where is it exacly
it'll be near the bottom of your console when your server is online

what farms are broken in better mc

or disabled
because i'm scared of building a farm just for it not to work
So far on BMC4 I've had Ghast farms not work at all (maybe need to find a different biome than the usual), and some difficulty with Zombie Piglin (but it DOES work, just a bit slower because another mob spawns and briefly takes the zombie aggro)
