it took 5hours for apex to revert my version manually down to v18, and i had to deal with an hour of adding my custom mods and editing configurations and data files, wasn't gonna put all that work and downtime into a maybe that would have to be fixed by doing the process a third time

7. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

Because ATL downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATL installed.

Okay so I was a little stubborn and just tried again without create but it still froze so I went back to neoforge 21.1.112 and it didnt freeze anymore... Hello. I would like some help regarding a modpack I modified to spice things up, I have mostly an issue with textures on some stuff not working properly
I am on minecraft version 1.20.1, I use Modrinth to launch the game (I exported the folder from curseforged for better loading time)
I have changed the modpack, by adding quite a bit of mods in it… for the fun of it! Latest version which is I think is V36? I don’t really have any crashing issues, its just mainly the textures not working on some small items for some reasons: following the screenshots of textures being broken + the huge modlist I installed (Dont think its a resource pack issue cause I taken out all the textures and it stems from a mod, I just don’t know which mods are incompatible with each other, so help is very appreciated!)

It doesnt crash the game but everything in the world freezes (mobs etc) when i break blocks they break but dont drop anything but i am able to still run around the world freely. Please follow the guide here for changing the Java version your server uses. This will improve performance dramatically. If you are on a third party server host, you likely can not change the Java version your server uses. Bisect Hosting and a few VPS providers do allow changing Java version, though, which can usually be done through your server dashboard.

The method on Bisect is to simply go to the main dashboard page, and select "GraalVM 22" as the Java distribution. If it crashes, use 21 instead.

For further performance improvements, you can also follow this guide.

Reducing server render distance in the server.properties file is also a very good way of reducing lag. Most of our modpacks include mods like Bobby and Farsight, which make it so reducing server render distance will not affect players.

The Essential mod is completely incompatible with all of our modpacks, and there's no reason to use it. If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL. Keep in mind that ATL is NOT related to TLauncher in any way, and is not a cracked launcher.

To install ATL, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download. If you are on MacOS, then choose the "Jar" version under the "Other" tab.
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATL doesn't see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "Install". Then, follow the on-screen directions.
7. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATL, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATL and paste the Saves folder there. Do the same with the XaerosMinimap folder, or the Journeymap folder, to transfer over any waypoints you've created.
Because ATL downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATL also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATL installed.

Hi,
I'm new to using mods and I have a question about the FTBTeams mod and chunk loading.

We have a shared storage using Simple Storage Network, I claim and forceload the chunk and we use the remote to access it from anywhere.
The problem is that when I disconnect, the chunk is no longer loaded and my friend can't access with the remote.

I checked online, and some people mention a config setting and a specific rank that should be assigned to other team members, but I can't find it.
I don’t want the chunk to always be loaded if no team members are online but if it's the only solution, I will do it.

We use the V35.5 of BMC4 on CurseForge.

Hey - I'm new to modpacks. My friend told me to get cursedforged and download a few mods for Minecraft. I used a pixelmon mod and it worked. We both tried "Better MC [FORGE] BMC4" latest version. His worked but mine didn't. It looks like its a graphics card issue. I'm on Nvidia and he's AMD. I tried using ATL Launcher too but still crashes and errors. The error logs don't give specific errors. My processor has a AMD graphics option so tried testing that and it worked but with like 5 fps so seems like graphics card. Can anyone help?

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL. Keep in mind that ATL is NOT related to TLauncher in any way, and is not a cracked launcher.

To install ATL, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download. If you are on MacOS, then choose the "Jar" version under the "Other" tab.
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATL doesn't see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "Install". Then, follow the on-screen directions.
7. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATL, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATL and paste the Saves folder there. Do the same with the XaerosMinimap folder, or the Journeymap folder, to transfer over any waypoints you've created.
Because ATL downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATL also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATL installed.

I'm trying to run a server with the latest BMC 4 version

and I'm having a trouble , when the server starts it crashes and start again for no reason

I haven't tryed joining the server and also I saw that the spawn isn't complete the generation

Hey guys i was looking to get some help. I just recently downloaded BMC5 onto an already existing world and my nether portal doesnt seem to work. It lights up and has the warping effect but it never loads the nether. I've tried to break the old one and replace it but still nothing. If anyone could help in any way that would be great!

Open the game directory (right click pack -> open folder), navigate to the "crash-reports" folder and upload the latest available crash report.
If there is no crash report, navigate to the logs folder and upload "latest.log."
If there is no log, navigate to the base pack directory and upload the hs_err_pid file, if there is one.
