forgot to mention the part that the game works, the problem was it just makes water invis when ocean waves setting is on, and makes dynamic blocks invis when dynamic blocks setting is on

really loved those features so was trynna see if anyone found a fix for it

turns out they don't transfer since it's made not via the smithing table but via crafting table, but the sword it's enchantable after crafted

seems like they were a little greedy and made the sword use two ingots instead of 1 that would be the limit from upgrading

Hello i just downloaded the better minecraft modpack awesome MOD pack btw but serene seasons mod does not allow me to config it anymore the snow accumalation on the floor is burning up my pc and i want to turn it off but when i go into the mods config to disable it when i click on the mod the config is grayed out ive been working around this by enabling cheats and clearing weather but its a tedious thing due to how ofter it snows and in the summer the snow melting is even worse for my pc any advice from anyone who might have a perminent solution ?

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.

hello 🙂 just started a BetterMC world for the first time. Was looking around online for a way to reduce the number of generated structures. Came across this discord's link on github. The world feels cluttered to me as it is.
So is there a way to reduce the amount of generated structures?
Also, there was a huge Asian looking temple at spawn too, you guys know which mod it is from?

Our modpacks don't support any mods that add singleplayer hosting / world sharing because we already provide free world sharing. The "Essential" mod is therefore incompatible.

To share your world using our own world hosting, click the "Open to Lan" or "Share World" button in the game menu when in a singleplayer world, and share the world.

So, the first option is like playit.gg was integrated into mc. Just 'share world' and it just work but once your instance crash, all player will be logged out & world have chance to be corrupt
The third one is self-hosting but you will need another service to expose your service into the internet or a vpn

worldsharing is a micro server offered by LPS, it's a fork of e4mc so we aren't killing their servers. yes all will be logged out, no it shouldn't corrupt the game. self hosting you'll have to port forward in order to allow those you wish to join your server so they'll need your public ip to join. I don't suggest VPN as it would change your IP every time for the server.

Okay, we are just having issues on our current Better Minecraft neoforge world. Lots of entity errors that I have had to kill to stop the server from crashing.

I did add a few mods to the modpack but i dont THINK they would cause these kind of issues.

For example we were figthing the Warden and then we got disconnected, came back and Neruina was telling me that teh Warden was suspended and caused the crash.

you're on curseforge. When you update you have to uncheck that box that says "update to new modpack" or it makes a new profile of the modpack on the other version you chose for the update. You can either grab them from the files of the old version and put them in the saves file of the new version. Or you can just go and update the old one again and delete the extra that got made from first update

i need help with performance, i get 120-140 fps on this modpack with decent setting sometimes it drops a bit if there is mobs but nothing too noticeable. only when i open my crafting table (thats all i have tested it on) it frame drops to below 20 fps. i have already allocated 8gb of ram and i have a decent computer. ive played fear of nightfall and rlcraft and havent had major fps drops like that so idk whats causing it.

Hello, I have a problem regarding my forge-server...
So I'm using the Better MC4 Modpack on Game-Version 1.20.1 with and excluded 2 mods. The first one is "xaeroplus" and the second one is "YUNG's Menu Tweaks (Forge)". The Server was running till yesterday in the evening without any issues. Then I updated one Mod: "The Afterdark" from version 1.0.2 to 1.0.3 on my client. Now when I want to join the Server, the whole Server crashes with the crashlog Im sending with this msg.
Maybe there is any who can help me out with this. Would be very nice. Kind regards, Niels. 🙂
