Luna Pixel's World Sharing

Our modpacks don't support any mods that add singleplayer hosting / world sharing because we already provide free world sharing. The "Essential" mod is therefore incompatible.

To share your world using our own world hosting, click the "Open to Lan" or "Share World" button in the game menu when in a singleplayer world, and share the world.

It will give you an address, like magma-cube.mc.lunapixel.gg, which your friends can use to connect directly to your world as if it were a server!

We still highly suggest not to play through LAN as LAN is untested and unreliable. Using it will cause longterm damage to your world.

There is no reason to use LAN, as we support both paid and free methods of hosting a server the normal way.

Tbh I get more diamonds roaming the world and caving than strip mining, that's just me though, I feel like my mining luck is terrible but my exploring luck is great. Also I feel like better MC has more diamonds you can find than vanilla, but I very well could be wrong and just getting lucky... Either way if you're mining for them look just above bedrock, otherwise just explore like crazy and you will find some

hey, first time modder. getting a black screen where there should be a title screen when i start up Better MC Forge. i can hear buttons being pressed when i click, so it seems like a display issue, but it also seems like there are a million and one things that can cause it.

i'm using CurseForge to launch, versions look like 1.20.1 and v33.5, have not changed modpack in any way. no crash report, latest.log is attached, looks at first glance like a bunch of "palette images" failing to load.

have already updated drivers for graphics card, forced javaw.exe to use dedicated graphics, allowed 9MB of ram (have 16MB) for both minecraft the game and better MC the modpack in curseforge settings. any ideas for what to try next?

I have a problem, I am playing the Mod Pack Better Minecraft version 33.5. But when passing through a beach bioma with crabs, of the 120 stable fps I lowered me to 1fps and had no solution until I turned and not approach that bioma. Our modpacks don't support any mods that add singleplayer hosting / world sharing because we already provide free world sharing. The "Essential" mod is therefore incompatible.

To share your world using our own world hosting, click the "Open to Lan" or "Share World" button in the game menu when in a singleplayer world, and share the world.

It will give you an address, like magma-cube.mc.lunapixel.gg, which your friends can use to connect directly to your world as if it were a server!

what are the recommended specs for hosting a server?
I'm currently hosting bmc1 (forge) on a 8 core cpu + 32gb ram with xmx set to 28gb and the server is constantly lagging and running a lot of ticks behind. Let me know if I should upgrade the server or if there's something else to be changed in the config. Server render distance is set to 20 and the ticks are running behind even when I'm not generating any new chunks.

Please follow the guide here for changing the Java version your server uses. This will improve performance dramatically. If you are on a third party server host, you likely can not change the Java version your server uses. Bisect Hosting and a few VPS providers do allow changing Java version, though, which can usually be done through your server dashboard.

The method on Bisect is to simply go to the main dashboard page, and select "GraalVM 22" as the Java distribution. If it crashes, use 21 instead.

Luna Pixel's World Sharing

Our modpacks don't support any mods that add singleplayer hosting / world sharing because we already provide free world sharing. The "Essential" mod is therefore incompatible.

To share your world using our own world hosting, click the "Open to Lan" or "Share World" button in the game menu when in a singleplayer world, and share the world.

It will give you an address, like magma-cube.mc.lunapixel.gg, which your friends can use to connect directly to your world as if it were a server!

We still highly suggest not to play through LAN as LAN is untested and unreliable. Using it will cause longterm damage to your world.

There is no reason to use LAN, as we support both paid and free methods of hosting a server the normal way.

Hey, I've been combing discord for fixes for issues I run into but I'm getting a black screen with tips on it when I walk to a specific location in my world. Everyone else who has had this issue (They were entering the end portal, I am not) and posted here was told to use the performance guide to fix it however this has not worked for me. Nevermind I solved this. I believe I may have accidentally updated one of the mods in the pack, causing the issue. it resolved after reinstalling the modpack.

3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATLauncher does not see your account credentials.

5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.
7. Let the mods download, ATLauncher will grab them from your Downloads folder and automatically add them to the modpack.
8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.
