Open the game directory (right click pack -> open folder), navigate to the "crash-reports" folder and upload the latest available crash report.
If there is no crash report, navigate to the logs folder and upload "latest.log."
If there is no log, navigate to the base pack directory and upload the hs_err_pid file, if there is one

now do i just drag and drop my crash report or what, istructions arent very clear as there isnt an upload button

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.

To install ATLauncher, do the following:

Our modpacks don't support any mods that add singleplayer hosting / world sharing because we already provide free world sharing. The "Essential" mod is therefore incompatible.

To share your world using our own world hosting, click the "Open to Lan" or "Share World" button in the game menu when in a singleplayer world, and share the world.

It will give you an address, like magma-cube.mc.lunapixel.gg, which your friends can use to connect directly to your world as if it were a server!

We still highly suggest not to play through LAN as LAN is untested and unreliable. Using it will cause longterm damage to your world.

There is no reason to use LAN, as we support both paid and free methods of hosting a server the normal way.

its a fork of polymc which is a fork of multimc

prism has some rare install bugs

you can still use a newer java version for modpacks really easily

with the graalvm install script we've created its actually really easy to change java versions for better performance & the script specifically installs it to a place that ATL will auto-recognize

so its like two clicks to get your game running on graalvm 21

most launchers you gotta manually find the path n stuff

but yeah the java version the launcher & the game uses is separate

once you've clicked "play" the launcher you're using doesnt really matter, unless you're on CF launcher which has missing textures issues because it doesnt manage downloads properly :p

It is highly advised to not use Optifine, as it is very glitchy, will increase loading times to upwards of 10 minutes, and will decrease your FPS substantially. All Luna Pixel Studios modpacks come with shader support without Optifine via Oculus on Forge and Iris on Fabric. Optifine is also incompatible with all of our modpacks. The game will not launch with Optifine installed.

Luna Pixel's World Sharing

Our modpacks don't support any mods that add singleplayer hosting / world sharing because we already provide free world sharing. The "Essential" mod is therefore incompatible.

To share your world using our own world hosting, click the "Open to Lan" or "Share World" button in the game menu when in a singleplayer world, and share the world.

It will give you an address, like magma-cube.mc.lunapixel.gg, which your friends can use to connect directly to your world as if it were a server!

We still highly suggest not to play through LAN as LAN is untested and unreliable. Using it will cause longterm damage to your world.

There is no reason to use LAN, as we support both paid and free methods of hosting a server the normal way.

Good evening, I have joined this server due to the fact that me and my homies have been playing on my friend's server for a couple of weeks now and everything has been working fine up until today. At first I believed it was a server issue but everyone else seems to be having no problems aside from myself. I'll answer the support questions below, provide details on how this happened and give the crash log of the server that was provided to me by my friend.

1. We are all using version 1.20.1
2. We are all running CurseForge 47.3.1
3. Base Modpack, no mods have been added at all
4. We are all using v28 which is the latest version as of the creation of the server.
5. Technically, yes because the server runs fine unless I join, which then from my perspective, I join in, everything is frozen, I can walk around but no blocks or mobs will drop/react to anything I do. Then the entire server crashes. but it goes back to before that.
   6.Below I will detail what happened:
   Me and my friends were on our way to find a second Harbinger boss. One went back home to make an Eye of Mech and I kept going in the opposite direction northeast of the chunk that it generated in. Once the eye started pointing me to the opposite direction, I followed. This is very far away at almost 10K blocks from spawn. As I'm flying along in my Aether dragon, I notice a frostmaw health bar pop up and I set down to go and fight it. I try to get close but as soon as he's visible, the server lags a bit. Once I got close enough the server disconnected me and my friends giving a "timed out" error. Multiple attempts followed of us trying to go in and promptly getting kicked out. However, I did notice the first time joining back the frostmaw duplicated and every single time i got close, it would crash the entire server. Now it has reached the point that everyone else joins, it is fine, then once I do join I am now crashing everyone and the server shuts down. I will now send the crash report for you to look at.

I added the Essential mod into the mod folder and it loaded with no problem but once i got to the menu it showed that there was major changes and wouldn't let me create a world. Simple Planes has worked for me with no issues. With adding mods to BMC you have to be careful because of compatibility issues but I'm sure you're aware of that. There's too much trial and error so I've given up on the process. Fresh Moves or Fresh Animations uses the EMF and ETF from the modpack and is client sided works well too.

In todays landscape, adding mods is not a biggie anymore. Ive found that most things work more or less without issues. Biggest Problems are probably overlapping recipes or multiple ores of the same type.

I mean, there is packs like ATM that work, they do have some special mods to make the whole pack playable due to conflicts though, but it works!

Currently I have added Create, Thermal Series Mods and EnderIO as well as Macaws decorative mods and Refined Storage as well as Iron Furnaces. No issues so far

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.

To install ATLauncher, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATLauncher does not see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.
7. Let the mods download, ATLauncher will grab them from your Downloads folder and automatically add them to the modpack.
8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATLauncher, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATLauncher and paste the Saves folder there. Do the same with the XaerosMinimap folder, or the Journeymap folder, to transfer over any waypoints you've created.
Because ATLauncher downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATLauncher also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATLauncher installed.

Luna Pixel's World Sharing

Our modpacks don't support any mods that add singleplayer hosting / world sharing because we already provide free world sharing. The "Essential" mod is therefore incompatible.

To share your world using our own world hosting, click the "Open to Lan" or "Share World" button in the game menu when in a singleplayer world, and share the world.

It will give you an address, like magma-cube.mc.lunapixel.gg, which your friends can use to connect directly to your world as if it were a server!

We still highly suggest not to play through LAN as LAN is untested and unreliable. Using it will cause longterm damage to your world.

There is no reason to use LAN, as we support both paid and free methods of hosting a server the normal way.

5. Have you ever gotten past the crash condition without crashing, or does the game always crash?
6. What steps cause the crash?

Required:

Open the game directory (right click pack -> open folder), navigate to the "crash-reports" folder and upload the latest available crash report.
If there is no crash report, navigate to the logs folder and upload "latest.log."
If there is no log, navigate to the base pack directory and upload the hs_err_pid file, if there is one.
