• select the vein mining mod
• select config
• select veinmining-server.toml
• change "require vein mined blocks without enchantment" to whatever you want it to be without the enchantment. i did 50, and also changed the "max vein mined blocks per enchantment level" to 100 so the enchantment still has a usage.

After some sleuthing I believe its some kind of conflict with the Carry On mod and villagers. I removed them from the blacklist in the config a while back and the only discrepancy I noticed while trying different keybinds and such was no longer being able to carry them
Changing the config and restarting the server seems to have fixed it but I still have zero clue how that interfered with my sens or crosshair since Carry On doesn't alter either when using the mod lol
