For some reason most to all Vanilla sounds and music just doesn't play. So I would just be walking down a populated village hearing nothing but my own footsteps for example

Since BMC3 is a modpack containing many mods, I was wondering how updates work with a launcher like CurseForge. Do individual mods within BMC3 receive automatic updates? Or do the updates only happen when a new version of BMC (e.g., BMC4) gets released?

The modpack will receives updates and in those updates mods will be updated, added and removed as needed. The v15 displayed on BMC3 indicates the version. BMC3 and BMC4 is completely different modpacks.

Anyone know what settings or tweaks, if any, can speed up chunk gen a bit more? I've played with render distance and it doesn't seem to do much of anything, upped chunk gen threads to 8 which honestly doesn't seem to do anything since it's still only really using 3, made sure it wasn't using too much ram, fiddled with simulation distance and swapped ftom Java 17 to Java 18.

I can play vanilla and literally spam rockets and barely keep up with world gen. I'm assuming it's just the sheer amount of mods that bog it down and I can't do anything but it doesn't hurt to ask 🤷‍♂️

See, 1.19.2 and 1.20 are different modpacks right now. 1.20 is still new so not a lot of mods have updated yet. So the term "upgrading" to 1.20 is not exactly accurate. Because you would be playing a new modpack. Not the same one.

I've had the chunk loaded for that ingame time mentioned above. Literally just sitting there trying to get various villagers to restock. Weirdly though, when both players on the server came to the village and stayed, the trades then restocked. It's a workaround that works for me since I only have two players on my server but quite an odd thing.

also in case it's helpful only one villagers trade was unlocked. We tried waiting an ingame day for other villagers but no others unlocked. We've also tried breaking job blocks, making sure they couldn't be pathing to other job blocks, etc. It looks like they aren't "working" at their job block despite it being theirs. I've set up villager trading halls in the past, but I'm at a bit of a loss on this one.

Hi, I want to use Stefan's armors and items texture pack which allows me to have custom textures on items when i renamed them but it is not working. Is it because it only works on optifine? the mod folder doesn't have optifine

All Luna Pixel Studios modpacks come with shader support without Optifine via Oculus on Forge and Iris on Fabric. Optifine is also incompatible with all of our modpacks. The game will not launch with Optifine installed.
