I found nickel in the overworld! You might just need to dig around at different levels. I'd suggest checking the manual (you make it with a book and a lever if you don't have it) there it mentions the levels more accurately.

If it gets too tricky, I'd recommend checking in villagers for materials- some new villages have buildings of the mod in them, and crates that might have the materials you need.

I actually logged in to mention that I added some mods to the modpack for my wife, after the server we got into finally died (we didn't know the owner, we joined when the server was desolate. so there was no way to contact them)
I added the carts mod, doggy talents, and a lot of cooking mods (Because once you survive you deserve to live a little, right?)

it feels fun, so I recommend people to try and add some mods too. I will see with my wife if we can open the server for other people and just sent you guys the list of mods to add to the modpack.

My friend is getting a crash every time he starts the game. He's on a new PC. He's uninstalled the profile and reinstalled twice. Updated his graphics drivers. Installed the most recent version of Java. His PC specs are: i7-13700k, 4070 Ti, 32 GB DDR5. I've attached the crash logs.

5. The game crashes every time on startup.
6. From Curseforge, he presses launch. The launcher loads fine. He then presses play on the Java version and the crash screen pops up about 2 seconds later.

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.

To install ATLauncher, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATLauncher does not see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.
7. Let the mods download, ATLauncher will grab them from your Downloads folder and automatically add them to the modpack.
8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATLauncher, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATLauncher and paste the Saves folder there. Because ATLauncher downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. Thank you for responding so quickly btw. The steps above only worked for him up to number 6. When he tries to install the modpack, he gets an error saying the modpack was not installed and to check the logs for more info. I have attached the log again if it helps.

Why cant I add paper as a blank map with the atlas? it has reached its max limit and I cant increase it. I have already edited the config for max map count to -1 to disable it but it is still limited to just 511 maps

I also checked true for "accept paper for empty maps" but it will not work with the cartography table.

Also the atlas is not rendering maps in the nether, even when I use map slices. It will only show a static image with no detail as a map

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.

To install ATLauncher, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATLauncher does not see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.
7. Let the mods download, ATLauncher will grab them from your Downloads folder and automatically add them to the modpack.
8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATLauncher, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". generic forge question, i think: not just this modpack, but it seems like every modpack ive done has this issue, where mod-specific player data doesnt seem to save. stuff like immersive engineering's discovered skins, or when i was futzing around in 1.7.10, lycanites mobs' killed mobs for that summoning system, stuff like that simply would not save between sessions. is there a fix for this?

You (likely) need to update your graphics drivers in order to resolve the crash. Here's how to go about doing that!

1. Identify your graphics card
if you already know skip to the next step

• Open task manager

• Press the GPU 0 graph and read your GPU from the top right

in case any one likes advancements and is stuck on the immersive engineering advancement 'uncomfortable shortcut' you can sneak right click the chutes to make them angled. If you make a tall enough chute with a bunch of angled ones (they connect to regular ones) and you make the banging around noise enough you'll get the advancement. I couldn't find much info on it and had to experiment lol

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.

To install ATLauncher, do the following:

3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATLauncher does not see your account credentials.

5. Search the modpack you wish to download.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATLauncher, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". It might be that it's really dark, and you know, there's a lotta monsters. She doesn't know how the game works, but most likely you will need to fight with 0 sanity or try to spam carpets/campfires, even as the dragon proceeds to ruin your sanity setups.

turns out it was the from the fog mod. It needed a texture pack so it would show herobrine. No idea why it wasnt included with the modpack but whatever

3. Have you changed the modpack in any way? (e.g. changing mod versions, adding/removing mods) - No, the modpack is as intended when the crash occured

4. What version of the modpack are you using? (v11, v9, etc) - v15

5. Have you ever gotten past the crash condition without crashing, or does the game always crash? - It always crashes

6. What steps cause the crash? - Hello, I've been playing this modpack multiplayer with my friends on a server I've been hosting for quite a bit, and we've reached a point while exploring where the server crashes when we load in a certain chunk. The crash report talks about "exception ticking world" and a bunch of files from Repurposed Structures, removing the Repurposed Structures mod fixed it from crashing, but I don't want to remove a mod unless I absolutely have to as I want to play the modpack as it was intended. Does anyone know a possible fix I could do to prevent it from crashing other than completely removing the mod? (Tested in singleplayer and it crashes as well, so I doubt it's anything server-side)

Hi I'm generating my world with chunky while players arent on my server, but I'm only getting 1-4 chunks per second, is that common with this modpack? If its tied to my processor speed, I have a 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-11700KF, I dont feel like I should be getting these speeds

initially when first found. You can turn em off by right clicking em while in your hand

Ive always seen em around but if you cant find them. You can setup cleric villager traders to buy pearls from.

You can also get em from the monster hunter villager trades.

I think ive also found them in loot from graveyards

Having another issue with my server crashing here:

When a player joins my server, he falls through the world and it hangs up and crashes, but I am able to join without crashing the server. Thoughts?

Are there any blocks that prevent the nasty flesh from the biomancy mod spreading? I dont want to just put it on a floating island or in the ocean
