Will Starbased be on a browser/map like the current SAGE ?

And how will we know what our Faction, not Guild, is building and what does it need.
Example: what Starbase/s are being worked on, what resources needed or short of ?

Starbased is going ot be browser based. Same is Sage.

More details about how the starbase will be built is not shared other that what is already available in the Sage Manual. there is pretty of details to read and thin kabout.

You have to create a wallet either Phantom or Solflare. Once you have the wallet you can "send" sol to you new wallet address.

You don't have to rush. Try to accumulate some Atlas. Place some orders in marketplace for some things you maybe don't need them now but you will need them in future you can get it for good price now. Also if I understand good these conferences you can get a ship with crew now and later you have to buy crew member card extra. So that's definitely something to think about. Put your claim stakes and ship to get rewards. And watch some beyond the horizon videos on YouTube. You can think about the guild you want to join and also polis/atlas staking. There's also some showroom which you can get early access if you have a code but I didn't get through this maybe I don't understand exactly how this is working. Will be happy for correcting from someone.

With 50$ budget and 8 hours a week I don't know what to say, I would buy a claim stake. Look into lab assistant it makes your fleets doing automatically tasks. So your fleets are profitable most of the time. Im not sure how much you can earn by playing 8 hours a week but pretty sure will be better enlisted in faction fleet.

If you buy a claim stake you will get resources. You can sell them in marketplace to get some atlas when you'll have ship and starbase is released in April I think you will be rewarded when you'll move resources around the starbases you show up loyalty to your guild and you will be receiving LP which gives you atlas. But I'm not 100% sure about this. Maybe better ask this topic someone else...

How much ram do you have? 8 is not enough I am sure of that. If you have 16gb ram, try closing the other applications that consume a lot of ram on your pc and try again. Also check if your GPU drivers are up to date. I am somehow able to run the game with GTX1650 ( 4GB VRAM ) but I have 32GB system ram so it runs ok on min settings and low res ( like 720p is playable )

Have you tried canceling the craft trough Labs v1 - some players had success with it. Just don't press buttons frantically:

1. Open labs v1, navigate to the crafting and click to cancel one of the crafts.
2. Wait till the notification message appears to confirm weather the action was successful or not.
3. If action was not successful - do a hard refresh ( CTRL + F4 ) and try the same steps again after waiting a couple of minutes

It usually does the trick for me on stuck activities after some retries doing it this way

For the RFR - if you have tried to craft super large quantities - it maybe separated them in two crafts. Possibly try splitting in smaller quantities - for example you can try starting 1 rfr craft with 1/4 of what you originally tried to craft to reduce the ammount of stuff that needs to be deposited for the craft in one go

ah yeah, make sure Atlas Prime is turned off - if you switch to the old interface it might be turned on by default

badges allow the devs/marketing to create events around certain access. Also players could likely use these badges to set permissions on their real estate.
all careers will require some sort of licensing buy-in to get the progression and the perks of the progression. getting the meta-pas unlocks all those licenses. the faction version covers all licenses within the faction, and the council version covers all licenses in all factions.
VIP is similar to the badges really but in-game utility also allows access to the VIP deck, which is a special lobby that is close to the main general hub of all space stations. which means you don't have to use the general shipyard and get a super far parking spot. basically valet service.
you can't trade licenses/passes or passports after they're activated onto your account.

However it requires replacing a save file in "%localappdata%\StarAtlas\Saved\SaveGames" with one that has been prepared in advance.

I cannot confirm that this will solve the issue, but least I can do is send you an example guide and the file. Also a way for you to generate the file on your own, as long as the game runs alright for you. That way you can verify and decide if it is alright to share with the community.

I made a mistake 😅 I incidentally click on French speaking role in Channels and Roles because I wanted to send screenshot to someone. The disable it and only left English as my language. Now the other channels I had access to disappeared. Also I cannot paste images in chat anymore

no, it is not the crew but the size of the ship. Size 1 ( xxSmall ) = one SDU, size 3 ( Small ) = 3 SDU.

The rule with the crew works most of the time, but for example Calico Scud is size 2 and gives you 2SDUs but it has only one crew

the problem with the phantom private key is, its formatted differently

if you get the private key out of solflare it will look different and accepted by the showroom

not really sure yet why wallets export private keys in different formats

Currently no xp points in Showroom. Just getting used to pilot a ship there and testing out the shooter. We expect some kind of challenges/leveling system in next release of Showroom when it will be focused on racing.

You can currently - practice with bots in a Dogfight and TPS Shooter, Racing with shooter. There were time trials before that, but they were disabled in preparation for the racing challenges. You can still drive on the track, but you will to time it yourself. Flying and racing with the ships does have somewhat complicated mechanics - you can use ctrl/space bar to have control over the jumps in the racing, you can use both the mouse and the a/d keys to fine control the turns, you can chose between a regular speed boost ( holding shift ) versus power speed boost ( double tapping shift ) that overheat the engine differently. So it is really good time to get used to that if you want to perform good when the real racing challenges come soon.

Same goes for Sage Labs - no xp for now. Starbased is aiming to introduces xp leveling system.

Try the following, turn off priority fees from the settings menu ( see screenshot )
Afterwards do a hard refresh of the browser ( CTRL + F5 )
Then try again to scan.

Not sure if that is the error, but I was not able to do a successful manual scan with priority fees the last few attempts, where with them disabled it seems to work some of the time

Much later in game Claim Stakes will be used in Sage where you will need them in order to extract resources in game.
