I remember - Sage 3D was never advertised as anything more than a playground that we can check out to see the 3D models. There is no official link to it on the site so it remains a secret alpha for the community where we can check out the progress on the work of WebGL stuff.

V2 shipped out with a lot of issues, most critical ones were handled during the first week of release. I personally opened some feedback requests that were resolved in a matter of day or two even though it was like 2-3 days before everyone went on xmas break.

Maybe I have really high hopes, but currently Starbased is being tested privately before the release with actual players so in my opinion team has taken a note and it has taken necessary measures to ensure that this release is shipped with as few problems as possible

Nah, it is checked on exit asteroid - so when you stop. For some time there was a bug in Labs v2 and you were able to start mining without enough fuel to exit so you get strangled and had to self destruct. Not sure if that got fixed. Different browsers to run scanners and miners/transport. And keep an eye on it. It's awesome, but Solana is pooping its pants for several weeks, so it's dependant on the chain working well. 😉

I usually close it/reopen every day, to get rid of any stuck stuff.

For keys you need to enlist a fleet in Faction Fleet, the staking program. Not SAGE.

But they are retiring that program very soon, not sure what the plan is going forward. Maybe they will just open access to the showroom

Each move is a transaction, so yes

But Solana costs are really really low. Each transaction costs 0.000005 SOL as standard, more considering priority fees. Up to 20x more sometimes. But still very low compared to other chains.

There are many different ways to implement, without a complete rehaul. I can easily think of at least 2. And I can't code.
So I'm sure they're gonna do something. Not a super polished solution, but enough to get us through the next weeks into Starbased.

That's a MAJOR flaw in this project, lack of updates/communication. Sometimes a simple minor announcement is enough to calm people down a little (myself included, lol)
