Every piece of Creation Club content has bugs of some sort, some easily fixable. But I doubt the more serious ones have been fixed.

They lead in a very arrogant way and have no time for any other faction. You either bend your knee to them or you die. The other factions use that against them. Arrogance can make you weak

That yes they have arrogance. But keep in mind they congratulate you for using the Minutemen to destroy the institute, they don’t seem to care that they weren’t the ones to do it. They believe it was good using them as the ones to fight them in their stead instead of possibly getting Brotherhood personnel killed.

The fact they don’t care so much about not being the ones to destroy the institute also says a lot as it sounds as if the idea of someone else doing it doesn’t bug them, they got what they wanted and ultimately whether they did it or not doesn’t matter.

They still are the more powerful individuals and they aren’t concerned

The BOS viewed the institute as a threat and honeslty I don't think they felt comfortable with that threat. People could move in and out like star trek beaming and it wasn't a brute force situation. They just wanted that threat handled so yeah I'm sure they were fine with someone else taking care of that cuz a minigun trying to blow a hole in the earth so they could kill scientists 1000 feet below in a future cave wasn't gonna work

Arrogance is one thing but it also speaks of how little they see The Railroad and Minutemen as threats, they saw the Institute as threats, and for the Railroad they believed them to be lovers of abomination’s, which needed to be stamped out similar to the Institute, although they weren’t seen as such a threat in comparison.

Point is I think the Brotherhood ultimately succeeds in just being The Major Power on the East overall.

if the Institute is out of the way, then yes I agree the BOS would rule for a while. We don't know the extent of the rest of the factions all over the USA so there could be other threats, but yes I agree I don't seee the Railroad/Minuteman being a threat to them

I gave the Fallout 4 Launcher a .OLD extension and made it so I can only launch the game through F4SE. I also set Steam to only update the game when launched. Hopefully that makes it so I can delay the update until F4SE is updated!

Some of the best things to sell are items in bulk.
Bulk purified water for example, or bulk chems etc.
Bulk purified water is self explanatory, lots of water purifiers in locations with the spsce needed.
Bulk chems can be gotten through Nuka World and siding with the raiders, and then taking settlements. Which then means you can place chem dispensers.

Those are the best methods I've used in the past, though I'm sure others have different means to get lots of caps fast.

There are six quests in the Diamond City that can be purchased from the Most Wanted board, but after completing 2 or 3 of them, new quests are not added to the board. I researched this on the Fallout 4 wikia and it was confirmed that there is such a bug.

no, the game speed is tied to fps. You need to lock your fps to 60 or install a "High FPS physics fix" mod
The game has vsync turned on by default and because back in 2015 most monitors were only 60 hz it wasn't a problem

Yeah I think there’s something more endearing in Fallout 3 vs 4. DC is a much more frightening scenario vs Boston which who cares. so I may have a situation with a few corrupt saved game data files for fallout 4 regarding nuka world and far harbor maps don't work right and are misaligned I previously had an issue with my PS4 shutting off once on me during gameplay and was wondering if that managed to corrupt anything further saved since that point and reverting to a save before that power off issue would by chance restore those dlc maps to working order right?

If you’re on console it’ll be forced on you but if you’re on pc you could probably avoid it by using a backup of an earlier build or something. The update is largely just a resolution bump and framerate improvements so maybe it won’t mess mods up too badly (major hopium on my part).

Jeez the level difference in this game is wild. I just went to the public library cause I wanted to return these overdue books and it's protectrons vs mutants and I'm 1 shotting em with a revolver (I'm level 101)

In Fallout 4 I am stuck on Danse's Fire Support quest, I tend to do this one at a much higher level because my game is de leveled and the ghouls can easily 1 shot me early on. My issue is even after we've seemingly killed all the waves of ghouls, Danse will not talk to me, he just says "check your fire, we've got hostiles" and this part will not complete. I've searched the web for solutions; sleeping/waiting for a few days before or after clearing the ghouls did nothing, I checked the roof of the police station and nearby rooftops as well for glitch spawned ghouls to no avail, and I'm on Series S and dont use cheat terminal so i can't really use "console commands" by any means... help?

Apparently having this quest started and them fighting in front of the station for so long in my game can bug it out, but this is the first time I've had this happen and I always avoid this quest/area in the early game, normally without issues.

I suspect as much, when I get there I see 2 ghouls "bugged" out with no limbs, but standing up. They are seemingly invincible until I hit them and kill them, and this seems to trigger the bigger waves. But I used Berry Mentats too in order to check the surrounding area better and hopefully see if any have bugged into a wall or under the map, again to no avail.

I found a mod called Fire Support Glitch Fix, going to install on my current save and see if it helps at all. I normally wouldn't add or remove any mods mid playthrough, but this is an exception.

Edit: looks like this mod worked, the quest didn't auto-progress after all the ghouls were killed, but as soon as I tried talking to Danse it completed the objective and he now talks to me.

If you want to avoid this bug, I'd recommend doing the quest as soon as possible rather than avoiding it like me. If on PC there is a command to progress this portion of the quest should Danse bug out for you.

does reinstalling the game automatically reinstall CK content and/or mods

Well. I install the update that has all that. The 1.4 or 1.3 whichever it is. Im unsure if it automatically installs them. I tried it without going to the add ons and doing it from there but i havr no idea if it gets them all or not. Either way even if its just the update file it still crashes upon startup

Like many people I imagine I dusted off Fall Out 4 following Nostalgia after watching the show. I initially installed Fallout 4 from disc, and then all the DLC from the playstore, and as many have discovered the game crashed at launch, even before it got to the main menu.

After doing some reading it appears the concensus is its the Automatron DLC killing the game. So I uninstalled and started a fresh install from scratch, installing the main game, all DLC except the Automatron and low and behold it worked. I loaded back into where I left the game in 2018.

Only issue is a fair few off the assets have purple textures, which again after reading it appears the Wastleland DLC while not crashing the game has missing assets.

So that is 2 paid DLC that either break the game, or ruin the experience. I hope these issues are addressed before the next gen update is released.

Is there a way of having the old version of the game backed up somewhere and "swapping it out" with the new version to test its effects on mods or have a new playthrough on the new version? On PC you can just copy files over, but I don't know if that would affect Steam in any way.

Gog's Fallout 4 version is for you if you want to do that as it offers offline installers for whatever versions they have of a game at the time granted they keep a select number of older builds for a game ..I bring this up as I ain't sure of a way to do it with Steam

Not sure if anyone has experienced this. I had maybe 1.50GB left for mods. I queued 3 mods, all big in size. One downloaded, then the next started downloading, but as the second downloaded I was down to 100mb (Which is weird because altogether, the mods are only maybe 1.5-1.6 so I knew I had to remove some before the third started downloading at least) so I started deleting a couple. It downloaded the second, then freaked out and said 'there's no room' but yet my space said 50mb left like it downloaded, and then the mod menu crashed, and i had a sign in screen for bethesda, and then it froze. Restarted, and now on the menu, Creation Club and Mods are grayed out and I can't access either of them.

Nevermind. Weird. I restarted the game like 10 times and even the console, still wasn't working, but then when I went back into the game it was working. Weird

New to the group looking for assistance in solving an issue with the Automatron DLC completely breaking my fallout 4, I've had the game for 8-9 years and this issue only started after reinstallation 3 days ago but I have tried literally everything I could think of aswell as everything in both Bethesda's and Sony's troubleshooting steps to try to repair the problem, I'm running the base copy of the game with the dlc being downloaded out of the store on my PlayStation 4, but I believe the current copy of the Automatron dlc in the store has been compromised somehow as it's the only one completely bricking my game, all other dlc work without issue as I've deleted and reinstalled 18-20 times in the last 3 days trying to solve the problem. Troubleshooting which dlc was the problem, ending up with a full crash as soon as the Automatron dlc was enabled, I have reinitialized my system and reinstalled to no success. Any help with this would be much appreciated

Well they did retreat in FO3 Broken steel. By the time we hit the mobile crawler, they were already running. That and they were spread out everywhere. BoS never had the numbers to wipe out the enclave east coast. They had the firepower but thats it.

like the vault dwellers will actually respond to enclave command, since they were left alone for a reason

Bethesda needs to hire an actual logistics expert to help them write how the Enclave and boS should work.

We all know Creation Club content is lorefriendly, but its not confirmed canon. Putting it in the game as part of a patch inherently makes it canon. That's not very fun or helpful when you're impacting other mods that already exist or are in progress that are written with the concept of this not being a thing.

If bethesda is smart, they should add the enclave in future games like Bioware added the Grey wardens in Dragon Age games. The enclave will only show in very small numbers, they were defeated and now work/deploy in secrecy. They do their things without anyone else knowing. That way we dont know if they are really alive or just remnants broken and barely survivn.

only a few stragglers who deserted. The real enclave retreated to the east coast. Part of it at least.

Thats why they were called Remnants.

So I don't know if it said anywhere but are we getting more mod storage with the next gen update because it's going to be very hard to manage mods with only two GB of storage on Xbox The next Gen consoles have more faster storage

Hopefully Bethesda will loosen its grip on information and let us know if we're going to get increased mod storage or creations when they switch it over to creations like they did with Skyrim

The 0kb bug is on Sony's side namely on how the PS handles files nothing Bethesda can do about that. Basically Sony would need to expand the reserved space it allocates to the game and so far they won't do it. As mods, CC and game saves all use the same space.

Yes it will boost them, but it's better to lock it all away cause if enemies decide to raid your settlement there's too high of a chance they will get a hold of it and use it.
