Built for cruising. Crunchy Roll Jujutsu Kaisen deck. Got the 70mm 78a Slimeballs, Bronson Speed Co. Alex Midler G3 bearings, a little trim cut out of my Pepper grip, Tiago Lemos Indy mids on 1/4 in risers with a couple stickers slapped on

Rode it for 2 days then fell today after taking these pics while trying to practice slamming my tail on concrete. Elbow didn't like that.

Oh gotcha. Yeah I got the risers and hardware at a local skate shop and the owner recommended the 1/4 in risers to best avoid wheelbite. I rolled super slow the other day and turned really tight to test the wheelbite and there is none. I can put wood to the ground just by turning.

Super fun, you should try it. Everyone started by saying no, I can’t draw. You just have to tell them you don’t care what they draw even if it’s bad. There’s definitely some un appreciated talent out there.

If it's very wobly you could try to make the trucks a bit tighter and practice with that and then if you notice taking corners is too difficult with the tight trucks you loosen them up till all feels nice and comfy

Looks nice! Santa Cruz hand is always a classic. It's a nice board for cruising around and It looks like it has a kick tail which can help you make fast turns or jump up a curb. But those are things for later, first pushing, get comfy and enjoy riding around 😁 Santa Cruz boards trucks do tend to be a bit on the loose side from factory so you might want to tighten them a bit when you get the board if you like

Normally no, but if you buy it at a skate shop they probably will do it right away for you if you ask. It's also nice to test the board at a shop if you're able to. If you buy online those tools are only a few dollars so I suggest ordering one along with the board so you can experiment with the trucks and tune them to your liking

Well you can go to a skate shop and test out different boards there. They might even have the exact board you want. Not all shops do this though and not all have a bigger area to test but in my experience I never had an issue with just standing on one in the store and roll around a bit it was even encouraged to do so by the employees

I started by just pushing the board til it rolls and then I try to hop on and see how far I'll go. Just make sure you get the proper foot placement when landing

@carmine kestrel the difference of my typical riding stance between my longboard and my cruiser if it helps you out any. As you can see they are almost identical. the main difference being the backfoot on the cruiser is just behind the truck but not completely off of it.
This helps give the leverage needed for lifting up the nose easily

Not sure exactly but the laminate graphic is like a plastic and overtime it seems to merge with the wrapping in a similar way old photos get stuck together and rip when you try to take em apart
