I mean, 7 hours is right around how long Halo 4, Halo Reach, and Halo 3 took to beat according to howlongtobeat. Actually howlongtobeat lists Halo Infinite as taking 11 hours to beat, which is longer than Halo CE.

Yeah, but those came with a complete multiplayer and free cosmetics

Also the fact a lot of Halo Infinite reused forerunner structures on EVERY level, and barely had a variety in designs

i played session for a month straight and regretted paying for it, went back to sxl. plus i do competitions in sxl via madnice so its kinda like home for me, plus the control are so close to real it feels good. your sticks are your feet. and you can go hardcore with decouple manual catch on -18 gravity with 4.0 pop force, if you want real real time drops

I don't know, but from what we see currently and what they announced, I don't think we'll have to worry about it turning into halo's way. Remember one of the problems that happened with Halo currently that we know of for sure was they promised publicly things to look forward to but never showed what was going behind the scenes. So when the game dropped and players saw that things that were promised weren't there, there was a huge disconnect.
Full Circle has brought us along for the ride and so far everything that they have stated about the game, they have backed it up with evidence.
That's why I'm not worried about skate.

This October 6 will be 12 years at EA for me.
I answered a Craig's List ad that said "Do like Madden?" and said to myself "Heck yeah. EA Sports, it's in the game." Called, got an interview that day, started the following week.
Answered Tier 1 phone calls for about 3 1/2 months, then was asked to pilot an escalated Chat program. Did that until May 2011 and got moved into Forum Administration and TOS. Helped launch BF3 and Battlelog, then took over social support for EA Help Twitter/FB while administrating all EA Forums and handling forum escalations in the TOS queue.
2 years later helped build and pilot two things - Answers HQ (the community support forum) and our Social Response and Support Team. Built that from a team of 5 to about 40 across all franchises and multiple languages. Then Oct of 2015 (a month after I got married), I was in a summit in Ireland and was offered the job of North American Community Manager for Battlefield. The next year we launched Battlefield 1. I stayed on Battlefield until about May of 2020, then worked on a partner title for the summer. Dec 2020 I got the call to steward the awesome skate. community. May of 2022 I was asked to take on the NFS community as well.
