but it's better to run it locally on the RPCS3 emulator because cloud gaming is not the best experience right now
in fact rpcs3 is a very optimized emulator and it works out very well. skate 3 runs 60fps 720p on it

If you like Skate you'll like Shredders. It's a bit buggy right now but once you get the controls down it's still a damn good time. It makes me go "one more try" like the skate games did. Story is short but there's a lot of sick spots to explore.

If you've ever played descenders, I'd say the control feel of it is similar to shreddeders. It's not polished or smooth, but once you get the hang of it, it works quite well

I did alpha testing for RR too and I just could not get the hang of the controls. When I had it feel good for one sport, the others were off and there wasn't a way to switch it automatically for each sport. Just got frustrated with it overall

Session is extremely janky and i have made edits. But my tolerance is higher since im a skateboarder. I have snowboarded before! I am just spoiled by Steep. So not janky of course but i just have to take the time to learn Shredders but being lazy lolol

Yeah there's a definite learning curve with the controls but I think it takes less time to get decent vs. Session or SXL. Once you get them down it makes steep feel not so good imo. But hey, if you check it out at all at some point that's sweet. It's only going to keep getting better.

My main issue with steep is that the turning doesn't feel super great, and the timing to pop and throw tricks feels weird. I also don't love how if you let go of the sticks it auto lands you. But steep was always more about big mountain and backcountry than parks. Shredders does it all a bit better imo. I feel like I have more control of my rider
I wanted to like RR but they took away a full axis of rotation. But it's fine, that's more of a racing game/spiritual SSX successor now.
I would say Session/SXL is closer to the snowboarding game, Shredders kinda reminds me of Skate 1

I think the main thing people have a hard time with in Shredders is timing of pop and using right stick to spin on the X axis as well as prewinding. But once you get it down it feels so good.

Only pc confirmed. And skate used to be console-exclusive so while not confirmed we can confidently guess what skate 4 will come to current gen. However, the true question is will it drop on last gen(ps4/xbox one)?
But here is the catch. Skate 1-3 never dropped on wii cause weaker tech. Switch is weaker tech in the current generation

From what I have heard, whether the game is good or not is typically based on the developer. The only reason the next skate. game would be bad is if EA rushes the developers or forces really bad micro transactions into the game. (I.e., an example of EA having a bad influence on a game would be Sim City)
They've also done a good job to keep the hype at a moderate level, as a large amount of hype would make people more impatient, which may cause the publisher to rush the developers.
