If you don't understand the hate on Nike from the OG skate community then you missed the '80s, '90s, '00s at the very least (gawd I hate the slomo here). Nike never gave a single sh!t about skating until it became popular enough for them to make a profit, then Nike spend 2+ decades trying to bully and buy their way into skating... just so they could wh0re our lifestyle for their own profits.

A. Viable for their usecase
B. Not as hard to install and use as people would have you think

Im not really a fan of any brand. (There are brands i gravitate toward irl in certain areas, because I trust that their products are good based on experience) And in terms of greed, yeah they’re probably the same. One is just bigger. But ethically there’s a difference.

Anyway. I wouldn’t like either of there was an adidas takeover of a big part of the game. I don’t like skating in a giant commercial.

One of my gripes is that they've made is so hard to progress with unlocks outside of the silly multiple currencies. So you're forced to do ALL the challenges, and it takes the fun out of a "skate" game when the challenges are closer to skydiving and trackmania

It's a ridiculous challenge anyway. Almost every RPG ever rewards basic gameplay in the form of rewarding every single kill, and many reward every single discrete action you take in addition to kills in addition to quests. One form of reward does not preclude others. Killing random goblins in the wild is the RPG equivalent of doing a kickflip in skate. Hell, doing a kickflip is arguably harder than getting an RPG kill in many games. It is easy to justify rewarding people for activating tricks or even emotes based on many predecessors to skate. But that will not change his opinion.

Worked for me all the time on Xbox. And Jeff just confirmed that only pc had this problem. I didn’t know there was a distinction so I just thought that was interesting to know.
