I get the whole good news thing, but realistically we're not entitled to "play" the game. It's in a playtesting state and at this point it's entirely their discretion who they let in and don't. I've been signed up since 2022 and two more weeks at the max isn't going to change anything. Access that we shouldn't have had in the first place to forums that make no difference to our ability to play the game shouldn't really be in contention as it was stated that it was an error that we could even see it in the first place.

Yeah I get that, never know there may be a post tommorow about it. I've still got access aswell so they could be in the midst of compiling a list to either give access to or revoke and include in the wave in 4 days. Maybe they just wanted to clarify wether the people that had access to the forums were actually supposed to get invites to the game, or if there was a problem that gave some EA playtesters access to the private forums but they weren't supposed to in the first place. Thing is if they don't know the answer themselves they're not going to want to just give/revoke access otherwise more people are going to be upset either way with a quick decision. Easier to stall, get a definitive answer and make amends than make a quick decision and potentially upset a lot of people at once.

It negatively affects us because a few of us were waiting on news all day to hear nothing and we were misdirected in our thoughts by being told good information was coming regarding the issue. And the good information ends up being just that our forum access is being revoked.

Hence my earlier statement. I honestly do not care that much not getting access. But the communication regarding this was done poorly. And I hope this will not be an indicator on how they will communicate with the community when the game releases. It means they can basically go back on all promises made regarding the game.

The Forum link will take you straight there, if you have access you’re in if you don’t then you don’t.
If you want to do it the manual way, go to forums.ea.com and find the category “skate” in the top left hand side drop box (3 lines) and log in. You should see 4 categories if you’re in the playtest. One being “skate. Insider Playtest”.
But it’ll be pretty obvious if you’re in the playtest or not.

Not having access to the forums is normal! A couple of people like myself were either mistakenly given access or just never recieved our codes. You’ll have the same chance as everyone else. Don’t worry!

i think people are still misunderstanding what jeff said:
if you are not in the playtest and have forum access, you will be losing forum access until you formally get your playtest invite.
does this mean that people that mistakenly received forum access are were supposed to receive an invite? not really.
the fact that everyone who is currently signed up will be sent an invite by the end of the month has not changed, if you got forum access and no playtest invite yet, your turn is still coming in one of the next few waves
