I get it that we aren’t getting a story mode because they wont be able to milk the players out of money for micro transactions if they are able to unlock gear by playing but not even being able to play in offline is really gross

I think people are mostly mad about the longevity. I am standing on a neutral ground when it comes to the topic of “online or offline”, but you will not be able to just hop on and play in 10 years

If the game will be a banger, people will want to play and enjoy the nostalgia

Modded maps that had raytraced lighting, 4k textures, then clothes with 4k textures and better 3d meshes, then better camea. That game with mods is awesome, but i like modded session more

My best theory as someone who still hasnt been invited to playtests after applying week one is that their main focus is probably gameplay (actual gameplay and also things like quests), bugs, monetisation and texture quality...so long as those things are in a good spot they can always improve in other areas later, pains me to put monetisation in there but we'd just be fooling ourselves if we thought a free to play game wouldnt have tons of microtransactions and paid things
