Yes but I said the only other F2P game EA has made is Apex, which again has been fine and successful. So for right now EA's F2P (Outside of mobile games but everyone fails there) Live Service record is 1/1 (*So it's safe to say that, while there are worries, it will probably be fine, if the core gameplay is there, which looking at the trailers the skate. team has release, the gameplay is there)

Game development does NOT require a fully functioning shop that takes money from players in a pre alpha. If they really needed to "Test" their shop they could just make dummy one with currency you earn in game, not that you pay for.

To give you even MORE context. I work with a company that operates in 10+ countries. They could not test it themselves. Because the actually ISP and MSP paths that the packet data actually travels is wildly different. For example, I, in Ohio can access certain internal sites (That everyone SHOULD have access to) that people in other countries cannot. For skate. someone in the US could probably buy MTX, same country, same currency. known banks, and reliable STP pathing for the packet. Someone in South Africa for example, might have an error out due to conversion rates, lower reliable circuits, working with obscure banks etc. So unless skate. sends their people to every single country that allows MTX, it's not a viable testing method.

the kicker is that just like how people are technically free to break the NDA, EA is also free to do a multitude of things as a result of breaking it -

the titans was obviously not gonna be easy to implement without having them be completely overpowered and it would probably be hard to make them work in a changing environment with new maps etc but the movement being worse/gatekept behind certain characters and it being slower overall was the key that made the game less enjoyable than titanfall

You have to think about the effects of the ideas you bring up, not just act like they're not gonna be a problem just cause you don't bring it up.

That's why I don't like time-limited cosmetics. I don't care about collectors of virtual items, I think people should be able to get digital items that they want whenever they are able to do so.

Limited cosmetics, they’ll give a feeling of specialist to the users that do get them and encourages people to play more in order to get the cosmetics and look cooler while they’re playing. And you generally wanna keep your most active user base active by allowing them to get special items

Like when I was on Battlefield, we'd celebrate very rare 10x XP weekends - only for 48 hours. Servers were at capacity. And sometimes we'd do a challenge in game for the whole community to achieve together - and if it happens, everyone gets something cool like a gun skin or dog tag that you can't get otherwise.

I never said nothing should cost money. I just said that I don't care for the concept of things only being available for a limited time. I don't care about like, branded items costing money in game. That makes sense to me, and I am not against that. I'm not against items being paid, but I am against items being only around for a limited time, and then it being a coin-toss if those items will ever be available again for people that might've started playing after the item was made available, or they weren't able to be around while it was available for whatever reason.

I feel like you are misunderstanding the issue I have here, it has nothing to do with the fact that some items cost actual money.
