i've never went back to play 1 or 2, my only experience has been with 3 and i loved every second of it. as a kid i couldnt actually get the full game so i would just play the demo over and over again so i learned how to do a whole bunch of tricks in a limited environment
i'm just super excited for the new skate game's release because i wanna see if, after 15 years, (more like 12 years since i started playing tbf) if the new iteration still feels like a Skate title, which is hard to replicate because "feelings" are kinda... not quantifiable?

Totally get that! I highly recommend you go through 1 and 2. Just a warning, you cant get off your board in 1 but it's well worth the playthrough if youre interested in experiencing more raw skating and challenges

I got in touch with an ea support representative through that portal earlier and they said they sadly couldnt help me with my issue. Despite entering the proper psn when i signed up to “purchase” a game recently, and fortunately receiving the game to that same proper psn account, I’m having an issue where when I play the game my in-game name / watermark is the wrong psn (a second one that is also tied to my ea account). I’m able to play the game, but this makes me concerned about future rewards / account linking. Would really appreciate any guidance or being pointed in the right direction for support on this.

I’m gonna try to say this without breaking NDA, yall should have a channel called playtest-authentication where you use a bot to make sure they have a EA account linked under their account and if they don’t it should send instructions, after they are verified and if they were selected (talking about in general) and if the selected account is linked to their discord account they should unlock channels about play testing instead of relying on the private forums that constantly bugs for others and it would limit the amount of people just openly breaking the NDA

I don't know who you are within the Playtesting program or EA Network. Your Discord name doesn't tell me anything, so I can't discuss details with you outside of top-level basic stuff.
I want you to get assistance, but as I can't verify if you're in the Playtest, we're limited here - that's why you have to go to the forums.

now, if you're getting an authentication error, it's because you're using the wrong account to access the forums - probably because you're on console and your PSN ID or Gamertag aren't linked to the account you signed up to Playtest on. that's also not something I can help with here, as it requires security verification.
