Physical disc no, but with the premium subscription in the classic catalog you're able to play ps2 and ps3 games and I believe ps1 games

but it's a limited catalog. and from what I've read, it's not super easy to do (streaming from PS3s to converters to PS4/PS5).

I could be a bit off, but yeah, it's not like those games were actually ported.

With Xbox, the console was always on the same CPU architecture, so backwards compatibility was basically planned since Xbox 360.

Haha yeah, 1440p is the sweet spot tho for both 27' and 32'. Unless you're using some ultra wide monstrosity, I think 4k a bit overkill for EVERY (gaming) use case. Alot of game/graphic designers out there lol.

It's not something you can just join like that. You sign up and MAYBE get an invite to join one day. Better to sign up early so you can be in the selecting pool. Otherwise you might not be able to try until early access is released

I would like to add that I’ve tested smaller games that have came out (this was years ago so I’m not breaking NDA) one game I was able to find a game breaking bug if the player jumped into a corner the game crashes. That’s the sort of thing that the game devs are looking for in these playtest.
