My friend wants to get into skating and idk how to tell him that he needs to lose weight first. Pretty sure he is obese by definition

He thinks it will be a good way to lose weight but he doesnt want to just cruise around he wants to hit parks and stuff. already went down once and looked like he almost broke his arm if he landed on it any differentt

You tell him by not telling him and letting him take interest in things he wants to try without making him feel bad about himself. You can be a larger individual and still skate. Skating is an activity that can help get you healthy. If it's a weight limit issue with a deck, there are decks out there that have higher weight limits he can get and shred on.

How about no? As someone that was fluffy their whole life and has recently lost 80lbs, 3 sizes in pants and 2 sizes in shirts, getting healthy is a journey and a personal one. Attempting to trick someone to lose weight is not cool - it’s actually abusive.

i swear i’m bouta quit skateboarding

i’ve been skating for a year and i can ollie, backside 180, popshuvit, etc
i stated learning kickflips about a month ago

every day for hours i practice them, and i’ve got all the core fundamentals down but i literally cannot get my front foot on the board, no matter how much i commit and how much i practice, i cant do it. i cant flick the board upward. i practice the motion with my foot, and then when i get on the board and i do it i cant. i need help

I'm sure you're still young. I skated for yearssss without learning many tricks. Just keep practicing, and have fun in your own way

The main thing that's helping me learn them is keeping a mental note of the time between the pop and the flick. Otherwise, try and experiment with having your front a bit more level before you flick.

I'm still kinda booty at kickflips but what helped me was just treating it like an ollie but with my front foot angled a little bit. My foot tends to naturally flick it by itself this way just as it slides off the board but it only slides off a little and gives me time to catch it right on the bolts. Never give up!

Yep. We try to drop asset kits when we release games. Usually on the official website, but like for BF1/BFV, I had a GDrive link that was available with assets, logos, videos (that had already been released), etc. It’s all usually watermarked or has official logo on it. The only thing we generally don’t share out is the fonts. Sometimes they’re proprietary, sometimes their licensed.

I really wish I could get into Riders Republic but I just can't get the controls to feel right for each sport. If snowboarding feels good, then the biking is off. I tune it to feel good on the bike, then nothing else feels right. If they ever add an update to allow more precise controls between the different sports I'd definitely be checking it out
